[PATCH] Silent Hill Homecoming BIG Sound FIX

Finally, I've found out how to fix all the sound bugs on all the audio system types - from Stereo to 7.1 in the Silent Hill Homecoming!

No more wrong sound mapping on the Surround systems!

No more 80% sound out from the right speaker on the Stereo systems!

So let's begin!

First of all, this game has TWO major problems with the sound.

Problem number UNO

The game doesn't support non 5.1 surround systems. It has been designed for 5.1 output only!

Problem number TWO

Ok, you can say: I have a 5.1 system, I want to play like a GOD!
Suck my binary code! - This game will answer.
Even if you have 5.1, it does not save you from troubles, because this game has wrong sound mapping.
What is this mean? E.g., when it plays a cinematic video clip, all sounds are shifted to the left, so the voice, which must sound from the central channel, sounds from the left channel, left channel sounds from rear left, rear left from subwoofer! (sic) etc.
I've done a big investigation and work.
Result - this big patch

If you play on the 5.1 sound system - your problem is solved at this stage!
But if you play on the stereo system, you must move to the next chapter.

How to fix sound on Stereo systems

When you play on the stereo, 80% of the sound is reproducing from the right speaker. This happens because the game can't perform correct downsampling from 5.1 to Stereo (it looks like KONAMI doesn't give a ♥♥♥♥t about testing, at all!).
So, the only solution is to trick the game with a special sound driver.

Recipe is:

1. Install my BIG Sound FIX to correct wrong mapping in-game audio files
   
2. Install a special driver which can give an illusion of 5.1 sound to the game and convert this sound to Stereo for your sound system at the same time
   
3. Correctly config your sound settings after installing the driver

After installation, you must go to your sound devices setting and choose Razer Sound Device by default.

it's working, new sound that i've never heard before now appeared but this also make some sound missing. like the sound when you hit enemy with your knife.

To fix the crackling sounds you need to download and run 'DPC latency checker' to fix this, it is a little program, you need to run this meanwhile you are playing the game. There is no effect on the performance of the game with this active.
This is the kind of game that NEEDS a Remaster, because the port is a complete mess.

How do I configure the razer driver to use the right speakers? I have multiple output devices connected to my PC and it uses the wrong one, unless I disable all of them except for the correct speakers and the razer device.

Also, I'm using voicemeeter banana. Weirdly enough, my stream is getting the dialogue audio despite me not hearing it?

Question, is there a way to uninstall just this patch? I tried installing it and now dialogue isn't coming out during cutscenes and the mixing seems worse now. (I'm using headphones, configured with 5.1 surround settings, no extra speakers, and just left and right speakers checked)

i installed the razer surround driver to fix most audio coming out through the right ear but im unable to make the sound go through my headset (i have a Steelseries Arctis 7 if that helps)

im unsure of what to do in order to fix it
