I have passed Antietam national park many times from ohio to dc and back I plan to go there after Covid.... Wow thats an old pic I have seen many times
but still shows the straight up death that occurred during that war on both sides and hits hard.

Such a terrible sight, as long as it reminds every reb that you don't mess with the Irish, even though equiped with poor smoothbore muskets, they managed to put up a hell of a fight every time. But even though they had to fear the Irish, those men in the sunken road from Alabama and Georgia gave it all.
