Doki Doki Literature Club First Run Guide

This guide will give you tips and trick for the game Doki Doki Liteature Club

Sayori

So this game starts with warnings and all, but you probably knew that so you wanna skip all that.
It then goes to asking your name which you put in then it starts. Sayori comes running up to you and you have this chat about school and general things. Then she starts to persuade you to join a club, you obviously agree otherwise there's no point in this game.

So after school you visit this club and see that's it's filled with really cute girls who can't take there eyes of you. Sayori introduces you to the others, then they ask if you'll stay.

So you have all these conversations with them then go home and write a poem as a 'club homework'. Try to choose words that would please the girls and make them like your poem.
Next day you enter and Yuri and Natsuki are arguing about you. They say some weird stuff then you need to decide which one you agree with. Or just call Sayori for help. Monika runs in late saying she was at a piano lesson.

Next day Sayori is acting weird and says she wants to go home early, which is strange. Monika then starts to talk about the festival and you have to go with either Yuri or Natsuki. If you choose Yuri she will come to your house with knifes saying she's intrested in them which is a bit creepy. If you choose natsuki she will bake with you. After they leave Sayori comes out her house and sees you with one of the girls then starts saying really depressing things. In the end you confess either that you're in love with her or she's your best friend.

Next day is the festival and you see what poems people choose, Sayori's is very depressing and she hadn't turned up yet so you go and check if she's okay. In the end she hangs herself and the game starts again but without Sayori.

Yuri

So once the game starts again without Sayori you start to get closer to Yuri.
Throughout this time you witness weird things. If any of the characters suddenly start saying gibberish in black writing, go on the history button and it will translate what it means.

You end up reading books with Yuri and getting very attached to her, but the other characters are warning you about her. Later Monika says that you should just hang out with her. It keeps repeating 'Just Monika' which is rather creepy.
You see some rather strange things withYuri like:
*Her cutting her arms
*Blood dripping out of her eye
*Crazy eyes
Later Yuri says if she can just talk to you alone, so the others leave. She then asks you if you love her. If you say yes, she stabs herself. If you say no, she stabs herself. Simple as that. Then the gibberish comes up and if you go on History it will appear with some writing from Monika saying that she wants to be with you.
2 days later, Natsuki comes in and sees Yuri and vomits and runs out.Monika on the otherhand just says oh no then says you can just stay with me instead. She then starts deleting all the characters and the game restarts.

Natsuki

There's not much about Natsuki appart from that she is bittersweet, likes cooking adn her eyes turn black sometimes and she goes crazy!

Monika

After the game restarts you get Monika. Just Monika. Talking to you, she starts saying how she led the others into killing themselves and that she just wanted to be with you and how simple it was to delete other characters. She explains how to delete other characters. You then need to delete Monika otherwise she will keep talking for hours without stopping. Monika then says she is truly sick of you but still loves you. That she loved the literature club and her friends.
Then the game restarts.

Ending

The end is like how it began but Monika doesn't exist and Sayori is the club leader. It all goes well till Sayori says she knows everything about Monika. Then you hear Monika say that there will never be a true ending.
The theme tune plays with Monika singing above it, the poem she wrote.
She writes a final message to everyone then you need to reinstall the game to play it again!
