How to remove the 30 FPS cap and get 60+FPS and/or 16:9> aspect ratios (ultrawide, Eyefinity/surround, etc)

This guide will let you remove the 30FPS cap and in aspect ratios other than 16:9.

Remove the 30 FPS cap

Thanks to jackfuste at WSGF this game can now be played at glorious 60+FPS.

1. Download this:
Secret of the Magic Crystal 60fps.7z [community.pcgamingwiki.com]
2. Open Secret of the Magic Crystal 60fps.7z
If you can't open it you need to install 7-Zip: https://www.7-zip.org/download.html
3. While in your Steam Library right click Secret of the Magic Crystal and click Properties.
4. Go to the Local files tab and click Browse local files...
5. Drag the Secret of the Magic Crystal exe from the 7z into the game's folder.
6. If a notification pops up click the Replace or Copy option.

The game should no longer run at 30 FPS.

16:9> Aspect ratios (ultrawide, Eyefinity/surround, etc)

By default the game doesn't let you choose resolutions wider than 16:9. However, since it's a Unity game you can use the -screen-height and -screen-width launch parameters to choose any resolution you want.
I'm not sure how well this works with other aspect ratios like 4:3 as I have not tested them.

To add these launch parameters right click Secret of the Magic Crystal in your Steam Library, go to Properties, and click "Set launch options"

For example, my monitor is 1440p ultrawide (3440x1440) so I would enter this into the launch options:
-screen-width 3440 -screen-height 1440

Now press OK and close the game properties.

If you try launching the game and your resolution doesn't show up in the launcher hit "Play!" anyway. It should work.

The 3D in the menus can look a bit off as they were meant for 16:9 but otherwise it's fine.
