Achievement Guide and Roadmap *UPDATED*

Missing achievements? Not good at number crunching? Tired of getting the same ending multiple times and still no new achievements? Then this guide might just be for you!

How to use this guide

Hello and welcome to this guide!

If you are reading this, I guess it's because you need help getting one or more achievements for Nekojishi. While a good game, and a fast one thanks to the skip dialogue option, it's not unheard of for someone to play it 10-20 times just to get all ahievements since many of them either require you to get specific endings with certain conditions or to play very specific playthroughs. Moreover, these two categories not always overlap, so getting them all without some help can be a pain in times. Hence, the purpose of this guide.

If you've already played the game a few times and are only missing a few achievements, it might be better if you just click on the menu for the one you currently want to get and see how to do it. These mini-guides are kept as spoiler-free as possible with a short description on how to get them (in case you want to try by yourself) and possibly a mini-walkthrough for those that may need further help.

However, if you're just starting, or are missing a huge number of achievements, it might be better if you take a look instead at the Roadmap near the end of this guide. This roadmap was made to help you get all achievements in a minimum number of playthroughs, and ordered in a way to better help you enjoy the story. Just remember that the roadmap is meant to be played in its entirety, so you might not get the best results if you try to only do some of them for a few achievements (in that case, it might be better to look at the guides for those achievements instead).

NOTE: For "A Sunny Day" owners, only Thicker than Blood seems to be affected by the new changes (which can't be gotten without the DLC). Every other achievement has the same conditions than in the Vanilla game, so don't worry if you're missing a few images as long as it's only for the new content.

Ending Requirements

For those of you wanting to tackle the achievements on your own, here are the requeriments for each ending and each character. However, if you still find yourself a little lost on how to get them, you can always look at nyan's 100% acchievements guide for further tips and walkthroughs.

Flags:

• Tiger Name 1: Ask dad about seeing guardian tigers.
  
• Tiger Name 2: Confess to seeing Guardian Tiger.
  
• Tiger Name 3: Accept Randolph's interview.
  
• Tiger-Cat Cooperation: Help Tiger and Senpai get along better.
  
• Tiger-Leopard Cooperation: Ask either one of them to look for Senpai, and then go to his house.

Guardian Tiger

Who Knows What the Future Will Bring

Automatically gotten near the end of the game.

There is a reason why this is the most obtained achievement in the game, and it's that the only requirement you need to do is to not get Leopard Cat's Ending 1 or 2. As long as you don't do that, you'll get it near the end of the game. Make a good note of where this is, because it's the point of the game where all other endings start to branch out.

Modern Tiger

Get Guardian Tiger's Ending 3

While not automatically gotten, you'll need to get this ending for both To Hold Your Hand and BUY, BUY, BUY!. While you can always look at the guides for those achievements to get this, remember that you can always look at nyan's All endings walkthrough or the Ending Requirements section in this guide if you somehow need to only get this achievement in specific.

A Return to the Ordinary

Get Guardian Tiger's Ending 5

While not automatically gotten, you'll need to get this ending for I Didn't Love Him Anyway, The Decision Point, and Will You Miss Him?. While you can always look at the guides for those achievements to get this, remember that you can always look at nyan's All endings walkthrough or the Ending Requirements section in this guide if you somehow need to only get this achievement in specific.

Remote Control

Get Clouded Leopard's Ending 4

While not automatically gotten, you'll need to get this ending for You help me, I help You. While you can always look at the guide for that achievement to get this, remember that you can always look at nyan's All endings walkthrough or the Ending Requirements section in this guide if you somehow need to only get this achievement in specific.

Big Kitties in the House

Get Leopard Cat's Ending 3

While not automatically gotten, you'll need to get this ending for both A Big Detour and Special Guests. While you can always look at the guides for those achievements to get this, remember that you can always look at nyan's All endings walkthrough or the Ending Requirements section in this guide if you somehow need to only get this achievement in specific.

Nekojishi

Get every ending in the game, all images in the gallery, and all glosary entries.

You should be getting this achievement along with al the others naturally as you go for all the endings, with the possible exception of All Those Memories (since technically you could miss the CGs for the individual dates near the beginning of the game). However, that's not really a problem since you'll eventually have to see all of them for a few other achievements.

By no means the most difficult achievement in the game, you'll likely get it way before all the Affection ones or those achievements that require very specific ways of playing the game (like it's the case for BUY, BUY, BUY!)

All Those Memories

Get every image in the gallery.

Just like with Fully Understood and Nekojishi, you should be getting this achievement naturally as you go for all the others; so there's not reason to worry about it. Moreover, only the first 3 CGs could be considered "missable" in the sense that you may not get to see them if you're only going for all the endings, but you'll have to see them at least once for all the Affection achievements in the game.

Two Cats, Three Lives

Get all deadends

For this achievement, you have to get Clouded Leopard's Ending 1, and Leopard Cat's Endings 1 & 2 (or the same one twice). This should not be very complicated and you're more than likely to get them easily without even trying by just experimenting with the choices.

You'll need to get Clouded Leopard's Ending 1 for two other achievements (You Deserve This and I Thought We Were Friends), so you could check those guides to get this ending.

For Leopard Cat's Endings, you'll need to get Ending 2 for Sorry, Liao…, so you can check the guide for that achievement if it's the only one you're missing. The problem comes with Ending 1 since you'll have a very high affection on that guide to trigger it and it's not required for other achievements besides All Those Memories and Nekojishi, though you can always take a look at the guides for I Didn't Love Him Anyway or The Decision Point and get it there since you'll have low affection and the perfect opportunity to trigger it in those playthroughs.

With the possible exception of Leopard Cat's Ending 2, they are all pretty easy to get by mistake, but you can always try with the following choices if you'd rather get all of them in the same playthrough (this will also get you You Deserve This):

Not Every Story Has a Happy Ending

Get all the bad endings.

For this achievement, you need to get Guardian Tiger's Endings 1, 2 and 5; and also Clouded Leopard's Endings 2 and 3. With the exception of Guardian Tiger's Ending 5, all of these endings are pretty easy to get with a few experimentation. In fact, you can get all of them in the same playthrough if you focused on only get Clouded Leopard's affection high.

You'll need to get Guardian Tiger's Ending 5 for three other achievements (I Didn’t Love Him Anyway, Will You Miss Him?, and The Decision Point), so you could check those guides to get this ending. As for all the other ones, you can check the guide for You help me, I help You and just make a few different choices at the end of the game.

To Hold Your Hand

Get Guardian Tiger's Ending 3 with him at max affection.

Possibly the easiest affection achievement in the game, the only thing you need to do is choose Guardian Tiger if he appears in any option or choose things that he agrees with. While in theory this could be difficult since you also need to have more "modern" points than "traditional" and activate a few flags, you are more than likely to get both of those and the 13 Affection points you need without trying just by mooching the tiger.

Get Guardian Tiger's Ending 4

With no affection variations, unlike pretty much every other ending, this is one of the easiest achievements you can get. You only need to make sure to activate all the Tiger Name flags and keep Guardian Tiger's affection relatively high. While technically also needing to have the same or more "tradition" points than "modern", you can easily do this by making sure you don't get both modern points for that playthrough (otherwise you'll end up with Modern Tiger instead).

If you still need help, please check the steps listed in To Hold Your Hand and just choose the "I think I will go back eventually" option after meeting Ragoo. Or tak to someone else during that scene. Or don't buy him the book. Or check the steps of any Guardian Tiger Ending 5 or Leopard Cat Ending 3 achievement and choose to stay and talk with Guardian Tiger at the end. Or any combination of those. I Didn’t Love Him Anyway

Get Guardian Tiger's Ending 5 with Leopard Cat's affection at 0.

Just like You Deserve this, this achievement is kind of difficult to get since a) you are forced to get at least one Affection point for this ending, b) there's only one point in the game where you can lower Leopard Cat's Affection points (which is kind of optional), and c) you need to still fulfill the conditions for one of the two most difficult endings in the game. Thankfully, most of his Affection points are gotten in options that only impact him regardless of choice, as opposed to Guardian Tiger and Clouded Leopard where you often have to choose between the two of them.

An extremely easy achievement to get, since you pretty much can just try to go for Leopard Cat's Ending 3 and make a few mistakes at the end to qualify for this ending instead.

Will You Miss Him?

Get Guardian Tiger's Ending 5 with Clouded Leopard at max affection.

Slightly harder than I Didn't Love Him Anyway, and probably one of the hardest among all "High Affection" achievements, this achievement requires you to get 11 Affection points for Clouded Leopard while still fulfilling all other conditions for this ending. Unfortunately, this means that you can't just dump everything into him, since you still need to keep Guardian Tiger's high to qualify for this ending, but you also need to watch out for Leopard Cat's as well to avoid getting it too high.

Slightly harder than To Hold Your Hand, but way easier than most other affection achievements, this just requires you to get Clouded Leopard to 13 Affection points. This will also lock you from getting any of Guardian Tiger's high affection endings, so the only thing you have to worry about is not accidentally getting a bad ending.

You Deserve This

Get Clouded Leopard's Ending 1 with him at 0 affection.

Just like I Didn't Love Him Anyway, this achievement is kind of difficult to get since a) you are forced to get at least one Affection point regardless of your choices, b) there's only one point in the game where you can lower his Affection points (which is kind of optional), and c) you need Tiger's affection to be low enough to not trigger his endings and/or make sure not all of the Tiger Name flags are activated. To get this, the easiest way is to just dump all your points with Senpai when you're forced to make a decision, since his points barely affects most of the endings.

Get Clouded Leopard's Ending 1 with his affection at 7.

Just like The Decision Point, this achievement can easily be gotten by trying to get Guardian Tiger's Ending 5 or Leopard Cat's Ending 3 and just making a few mistakes towards the end, the only problem is that you also need to qualify for Guardian Tiger's Ending 1 & 2 to get this. Since you'll have around 8-10 Affection points for both characters, usually you can just get it by skipping Randolph's interview and/or not cheating on the exam.

Possibly one of the harder achievements in the game, if not the hardest, this one requires you to get Senpai's affection to 11 while also getting the other two at a high enough level to trigger this ending. This requires a good balancing all through the game to get it right, and lots of number crunching, so good luck if you're not planning on following a guide to get it.

This achievement is easy to get as you only need to give yourself, heart and body, to Senpai for all of the game since you don't need anything in special to trigger this ending. There are two points in the story when you can get it: 1) After meeting him at his house, and 2) During your date near the end of the game. You'll need 10 Affection points if you're going for the first trigger, and 14 points if you're going for the second.

This achievement, which can only be gotten in Leopard Cat's Ending 3, basically just requires you to make sure you do two things in a single playthrough:

• Speak with Leopard Cat after meeting Ragoo

Since the second one is already a requirement to get this ending, you only need to take into account the first one to get this achievement (should pop-up during the Epilogue).

Thicker than Blood (A Sunny Day DLC)

Finish the "A Sunny Day" DLC

The newest achievement in the game, and one of the easiest to get. The only thing you need to do is buy the "A Sunny Day" DLC and play the new epilogue by clicking on the picture in the Main Screen.

You'll automatically get it at the end along with the last CG in the gallery.

Taking into account the numbers gotten from both tcss0612's Nekojishi walkthrough and nyan's 100% acchievements guide, here is a path with the shortest amount of playthroughs needed to get all achievements while also allowing some variations to explore as much of the differences between choices as possible. 7 Playthroughs, with the following achievements if you play them in order:

• First playthrough should net you: The Life of a Broke College Student, Who Knows What the Future Will Bring, and You Deserve This.
  
• Second playthrough should net you: Sorry, Liao… and Come home with me?
  
• Third playthrough should net you: I Didn’t Love Him Anyway and A Return to the Ordinary.
  
• Fourth playthrough should net you: Not Every Story Has a Happy Ending, Remote Control, and You help me, I help You.
  
• Fifth playthrough should net you: Two Cats, Three Lives; The Decision Point; and Will You Miss Him?
  
• Sixth playthrough should net you: Fully Understood; BUY, BUY, BUY!; Modern Tiger; and To Hold Your Hand.
  
• Seventh playthrough should net you: I Thought We Were Friends, Big Kitties in the House, All Those Memories, Nekojishi, A Big Detour, and Special Guests.

You shouldn't need to save scum except for a few endings and the options marked with *asterisks*, where you will need some short save files to get the rest of the achievements without further playthroughs.

Take into account, however, that this roadmap is meant to be played in it's entirety and in that specific order, so don't be surprised if you were to "miss" some of the achievements if you don't choose to follow it as it is.

For example, if you were to play only the fourth playthrough expecting to get Not Every Story Has a Happy Ending (or if you were to start with that one), you likely wouldn't get that achievement since it also requires endings gotten in playthroughs 1 and 3, unless you'd already gotten them by yourself beforehand. However, you wouldn't have that same problem if, say, you were instead only looking to get You help me, I help You (which is also in that same playthrough but is not cummulative).

"A Sunny Day" DLC-only Roadmap

Leaving the new epilogue aside, if you already had everything in the Vanilla version of Nekojishi and wanted to unlock everything added in the DLC, you'll need to get 4 different endings with a few conditions:

• Clouded Leopard's Ending 2
  
• Leopard Cat's Ending 2
  
• Leopard Cat's Ending 3

While this can easily be done with 2 playthroughs (one in which you go Leopard's Ending 2 while also getting Tiger's Ending 1 on the side + one where you get both of Senpai's), you can always try with the following steps to get them all in the same one with a little save scumming:
