Jupiter the Fire Engine

To celebrate the belated 30th Anniversary of Fireman Sam. I thought it would be nice to recreate the old Jupiter from the classic stop-motion animated series, which was first broadcasted on S4C and BBC in November, 1987.

Jupiter is a fire engine, which is owned by the Pontypandy Fire Service and serve in a Welsh village of Pontypandy. She is mostly driven by Fireman Sam, though other firefighters have driven her as well like Elvis Cridlington. In the original series, Jupiter was based on a Bedford TK.


About this Model:

Not so much to describe this model. Originally the lockers were supposed to have animation sequences, but due to a technical difficulty, I decided to make them as hide/unhideable bodygroups instead.

If you want to animate characters driving or sitting in Jupiter, you must disable collision first, or you can't place the character in it.

I hope it won't give you any errors when you download it for use on SFM or Gmod. I may not be a good texture artist but I did pay a lot of attentions in 3D modeling.

- Collision fixed (08/08/2018)
- Texture added shade with materials folder reorganised (08/08/2018)
- The model can now load seperate parts, making SCar driveable possible as well as dupe building (08/08/2018)
- Lockers and doors can now be opened either slightly, midway or fully opened... (08/08/2018)
