Getting Started

Ok so you're gonna need the following genes,

ATP Boost
Genetic Mimic
Native Biome
Extremophile
Sympto-Stasis

Next you are gonna wanna start in Saudi Arabia, my personal favorite.
There's gonna be mutations popping up here and there for this scenario, but you shouldn't have to devolve any of them, so just let them do their thing. Keep in mind this scenario moves very quickly so you're going to have to plug these mutations in the moment you have enough points for each one.

The Mutations

Alrighty, now I'm just going to list the mutations used, and the order in which they are used. Remember to keep an eye on your dna points and plug these suckers in as soon as you can.

Heat Resistance 1
Hermetic, Frozen, and Preservative Storage Resilience
Human Cross-Infection

and at the end if you have any spare points, throw some Genetic ReShuffles in.

Hopefully this will have gotten you your achievement as promised. It might take a few tries considering you have to be a little lucky with the islands getting infected, but just try and be patient.

Thanks for your helpful thread. It still works after two or three save/loads. And thanks to Stoneblackdog's advice, I evolved Fish before Pork and ignored Lamb. Greenland is still very hard to get infected, but it does happen on Day 257. The final result: 382 days, 11% cure, 67808 scores.

Another small tip: the three levels of Genetic Reshuffles cost 24 DNA, 29 DNA, 34 DNA, respectively, 87 DNA in total.
