DOs and DON'Ts for Bubble Pop Achievements

The hardest/longest to get achievement for me has been the "Bubble Expert" achievement, rewarded when you pop 10,000 bubbles. I played around with options, and realized what I did wrong. This guide is to help anyone else trying to reach this milestone.

Intro

If you are trying to get to the 10k bubble pop achievement yourself, do not use/activate the "Prevent Weak Bubble" ability on your tubes. The ability sounds like it's a good thing, since your bubbles will give you more energy to advance, right?

But what it actually does, is significantly reduces the odds that a bubble will appear, possibly stopping any bubbles from coming at all. Basically, before a bubble is spawned, when the ability is active, the game does a check to see if the bubble will be big enough to pass the ability's threshold. If it is not big enough to pass the check, the game stops the spawn from happening.

The DOs

(How to get lots of bubbles)

This setup will create lots of bubbles for you to pop. Unfortunately, you still will have to *click* them all to get credit.

1. Regress all tubes ~3-5 levels from your current max (enough that you can maximize ball size 100%).
   
2. Upgrade ball size to max.
   
3. Do NOT upgrade tube height! If you do up the height, (or even if not) you can just drop balls from a very low height, just above the ground. But then you've spent your resources on an upgrade you didn't need!
   
4. Start your balls bouncing.
   
5. Click lots of bubbles.

The steps above will allow for very fast ball bounces, and under normal circumstances (especially with a high meta-energy expenditure on bubble probability), this will create a lot of bubbles for you.

The DON'Ts

(How to screw up your progress)

Don't think that's the case? Seeing is believing...

1. Activate the "Prevent Weak Bubble" ability to level 1 on all your balls as set up above.
   
2. Set your balls bouncing.
   
3. Wait.
   
4. And wait...
   
5. And wait some more.
   
6. No bubbles will come, and you've set yourself up for failure.

Don't do this. Just don't.

Hi Gaffi, awesome guide. Can I just ask a silly question about another achievement? I can't find information anywhere I'm really having trouble with the "Idle Googol" one. How did you get this? Is it from upgrading the Idle Bonus Multiplier +100% or Idle Bonus Multiplier +500% with those gems or? Sorry if this is a dumb question. Thank you!

I find if you just bounce all the balls from a height of just above the balls centre then you will endlessly spawn bubbles regardless of bubble spawn chance or tube height. You can even leave your best producing tube at max bounce height so you can still progress while working on this achievement.

Also, if you already upgraded your things height, just click really low with a good time, it will just set it to the lowest thing and bounce quite rapidly
