Playable Classes for Launch
Livestream – on!
Release date: 2015
Delver's Drop is a 2D Action RPG with fluid physics-based movement, snappy combat, shifting dungeons, and a rogue's gallery of individually leveled character classes. It features procedurally generated levels and puzzle permutations for infinite replay, a non-linear narrative, customizable character growth, and immense secrets to discover.

Single Player / Co-Op
  • Immense & Unpredictable Dungeon Dive — 9 zones of castle dungeons with 3 - 4 floors per zone to explore. Levels will be combined from masterfully designed hand-crafted rooms and components, with randomized content and floor layouts.

  • Physics-based Hack & Slash Combat — Since all characters and enemies move and collide on a physics-based system, any interplay of attacks, traps, and magic resolve based on responsive, snazzy, and sometimes chaotic physics effects.

  • Multiple Characters & Play Styles — Play the game with one or all of the 6 character classes (some to be decided by backers!). Classes have unique speed and movement properties, weapon, special ability, and perk tree, giving each a different play style.

  • Character Growth & Customization — Gain experience as you play each class, and keep this progress through the class’s perk tree even if your current character dies. Level up if you want more flexibility, but Delver’s Drop is totally grind-free.

  • Weapons & Sub-Items — The player can find and purchase interesting and upgraded weapons for each class, as well as a large suite of expendable sub-items that are randomly spawn during each session. But items slots are limited, requiring intelligent use!

  • Puzzles & Secrets — Like many action adventure games, Delver’s Drop will feature interesting puzzles, requiring clever manipulation of dungeon elements, using physics to advantage, and resourceful usage of secondary items.

  • Local Co-Op / Companion Mode — Want to transform into a wispy phantom or familiar? A second player can drop in/out of the campaign to help the main player when delving gets dire, by controlling one of a set of mystical pets to attack and impede enemies.

Local 4-Player Modes
  • Horde Mode — Fight side-by-side with your friends in gauntlet rooms against endless streams of enemies. Use teamwork, items, and even the physics of the arena itself to hold back the tide of monsters and baddies.

  • Deathmatch Mode — Battle in one of several specially-designed arenas using the environment to your advantage as you race to grab power-ups that will turn the tide of battle. Think Super Smash Bros. meets Zelda: Four Swords.

Scam much? No updates in any form or social media platform in years, and yet your website allows people to still buy this vaporware. How are you allowed to take the money and run? You ought to be reported to the freaking FTC by every single person who encounters this trash. You don't get to collect money from people and be silent for years and still feel safe.

I get that projects fall apart, been years and years since any word from the devs so it's safe to assume it's over. But why is it still for sale, even their official website still allows pre-orders. Seems scummy as heck, who knows how many people continue to buy this game from the promises alone. If you didn't know better, this looks like a very promising project. Well it's dead and the devs didn't even have the decency to drop a notice. Wonder what loser is collecting paychecks from this?

Really like the demo I paid for. Wish this game would have actually been finished.

Just remember this game. What happen? Seems so interesting but suddenly it vanished? I bought the game just to support it in HumbleBundle 5 years ago, but now it's vaporware? never did play it

this is why kickstarter died

The comments below pretty much sums up my feelings about the kickstarter. I'm sorry, I have to give it a thumbs down after spending money supporting it yet nothing happen except the earliest few alpha tests. :steamsad:

funny how anyone is still able to "pre-order" this stupid game. Fuck you guys.

Well lesson learned. NEVER... EVER... supporting any kickstarter. It's criminal that projects get funded and it reaches all theses "tiers" and at the end, after baiting all these people that believed in your vision they just get screwed.

@Vasae - Another year going by, go check their website and forums, it looks dead. I predict another year will go by with little to nothing happening.
