There are 2 different War in the North profiles in Inspector. You have to choose the first one on the list.

One more note, I am using a GTX 580 (driver 331.58) and the Transparency Supersampling - Sparse Grid AA option shown above made the game stutter horribly, especially in the starting town of Bree. I instead used the traditional Supersampling option at 4x for transparency and it runs smoothly with no stutter. YMMV with your particular computer setup.

I will confirm Eleventeen's post. I am using nvidia driver 331.58 and forcing AA through the nvidia CP does not apply AA. Using nvidia inspector as shown above correctly applies AA to the game (keep inspector open while playing), and it looks nice!

If after following these instructions your characters have a white outline simply disable Ambient Occlusion in the in-game menu. From what I have read Ambient Occlusion does not work and thus you won't lose any visual quality. I could not tell any difference myself...

BrandeX Ultra is incorrect.
You do need the inspector, because the default AA override doesn't work for this game. You need to specify the antialiasing compatibility bits else it won't work.

Note newer driver versions have added a specific aa compatibility profile for this game, however it still isn't enabled by default oddly. So you have to specific it with the inspector, tho it has the games name right on it now. It's now 0x0041244.

You don't need to bother with inspector. Just right click your nvida icon in the system tray, and in the nvidia control panel, choose "manage 3d settings". Add your game, and select all these options from there. Nvidia will remember them every time you run the game. Also try adding something like SweetFX, that should improve the look some as well.
