How to start your competitive scene on shadowverse

Greeting

Im not a really big shadowverse competitive player, im just started yet
already being a master rank player since Rise of Bahamut exspansion

Collecting stuff

u can get rupes in this game with many various way

1. u can clear these main story mode for some rupes, each class exclusive card, vials,
   and some Take Two Ticket (i will explain Take 2 later)
   
   
   
   
2. u can also do a singel mode practice and try to beat the elite bot 1 and elite bot 2 in each class for some rupes
   
   
   
   
3. u can get 3 mission per day, also if u feel some mission a bit harden u can reset it to get another mission, but u can only use this feature only once per day
   
   
   
   
4. getting some ranked points not only increasing your rank but also rewarding u some tuff, these stuff will reset every month, also its recomended to get atleast 10k score monthly for a nice reward
   
   
   
   
5. u can also all those archivement that u didnt unlock yet here, the reward also written there
   
   
   
   
6. getting each class higher level also rewarding u alot of rupes, but the rupes reward stop at lvl 140
   and at lvl 150 u will get Flair banner instead
   
   
   
   
7. u can find some friend to play private match, its 100 rupes per win, but u didnt get it anymore for beating same people, if i still remember u can get it till 20 people, so there;s still alot of rupes
   
   
   
   
8. Playing in take to will always reward u a card pack + some rupes and sometimes vial depend on how much u had in 5 games
   in Take Two, u had to build up deck contain of 30 card and pick either left or right
   this will take 15 step so its 2 card per pick, u can only pick either left combination card or right combination card per step
   i highly recomended to save ur Take Two ticket first, and try to understanding the game, also u can find some video on youtube or twitch stream like envybaer who usually doing T2 to learn
   maybe in near future i will make some Take Two content on my channel if its possible
   
   
   
   
9. once u reach Master rank u can try grinding ranked point to get in leaderboard
   i recomended u to see shadowverse.com/news first since sometimes they didnt rewarding u on first month of exspansion
   top 1000 usually get 20 next expansion card pack and 5000 vials plus 1 globe seer
   top 10000 usually get 10 next expansion card pack and 2500 vials

i highly recommended to join their discord server like (Shadow Nexus, Disastra, HSK, MS, Slayer, etc) since u will get alot on useful info about shadowverse either just for casual or finding some competitive scene

Tournament Format

In Shadowverse tournament we usually do Bo3 game and Bo5 for final

also to mention there's some different culture between japan and outside it like western
on western or ouside japan we usually does 3 deck with 1 ban format
on japan they mostly didnt run ban format (correct me if im wrong)

we do play on private match with Bo3 format like picture bellow
so u run 2 deck and try to get 2 win, and when u win with 1 deck, u should change to other deck and win using it, so becarefull winning on first game doesnt mean anything since ur second deck can be heavily targeted by ur oppenent.
also u can only 1 deck each classes


here's some mostly basic info
Agro deck is deck that spam low cost follower and storm or some direct damage card and only using few lategame card, their lategame usually only either 5-7pp cost card
albert and alwida's command is sword finisher in agro,
in forest we had fairy driver, iphiria, and roach
the deck problem is sometimes u will lose your resourse too fast like u only had 1 or 2 card on turn 6 and 7

Midrange deck, they are quite versatille since their target is winning in midgame, their deck really shine on midgame like their name, like turn 5-9
they run some removal and good tempo card, also sometimes they running T7-T9 finisher card
we had Mars midrange deck for sword,
also deck that quite known is neutral forest, they had strong T6 follower BnB and finish off the game after using arriet, unfortunatelly most of them playing neutral forest control variant with sahaquiel package

Control deck, in this deck u will had so many card for removal and for draw power, their target is draining their oppenent resource and increasing their own reasorce turn by turn, also their winning target is mostly lategame after T10
most known control deck is Control Blood which is quite strong also they had some decent finisher and strong removal like abyss and emeralda
ramp dragon + sahaquiel package also categorized as control too
their main problem is because running too many midlate game card, their brick hand chance is bigger than other type of deck

Combo deck, i will not explain much about this,
straight foward, deck that had alot interaction on each other card and finish off their oppenent with a couple card categorized to combo deck, Dshift, otk roach, otk dicard dragon, dragon queen dread see, those are example of combo deck


Midrange > Agro
Control > Midrange
Combo > Control
Agro > Combo

ofcourse this thing is not work on every matchup this is just generalized since thats what mostly happen


so what we do on ban format, u want to Ban enemy deck that u knew u cant wins against
like when u bring Agro blood, Dirt burn, and midrange sword
in this kind of Line up ur target is finish of your oppenent by going their leader face, and only trade or destroy their follower if really necessary, so what u want is ban oppenent deck that bring heal and alot of ward, u can ban their haven deck for example, also on open deck list u can see your oppenent line up before ban, like if u sure they running control forest that run alot of ward and healing tools like aerin, elf queen, jungle warden, ancient elf, u can straight foward ban that deck,
or if u sure they didnt rune some card like i listed, u can just leave it and find other deck u think u cant win against

there's create deck code button, outside edit section not inside

and remember if u are get left side u should make deck room then put it on the website and if u on right side u can wait ur oppenent to create the room
after 2 win on either side finish u can upload your result on the site



after some win u will get your rating displayed, maybe if u win like 3 of 3 game or 2 of 3 game on your first try i will get rating like 1800 but the rating will only matter after u get RD lower than 100
like this picture, after first game u maybe will receive like 220 RD and will get lower the much game u play, maybe after like 15 game your RD will get lower than 100 and then ur rating will be shown up on the site
