How to disable 3D characters

So, according to 'Fishing_Planet_Mod' MANY MANY MANY players simply cannot work out how to disable 3D characters.

How?

Start the game, the hit 'SPACE' to continue loading the game.




Be on the main map, then hit the litlle wheel, top right.



Next you want to set 'Player Models In Close Range' to OFF, and 'Show Characters' to OFF.
Now mid bottom, click 'Apply'. (this is very important)



A small window appears, dont be alarmed, its quite normal. Again you click on 'Apply'
(Note... you need to be VERY fast indeed, you only have 15 secs to do this!!!!)




CONGRATULATIONS!!! - you have made it!!!

This extencive, and extremly helpfull guide, vil show you how to disable 3D characters. Why? you might ask, this is, afterall, a simple thing to do..... Or so i thought.

It turns out.... i was wrong, dead wrong.

In fact, it is the reason that we are limited to 5 players pr room now, SO! - Helpfull as i am, i decided to put together this guide.
