How to play with any controllers using x360ce

Introduction

It's funny when I see some people give bad review because they can't play with their controllers or their controller mapping is messed.

I'm playing this game with cheap controller. And a simple software called x360ce. YES, even I played GTA V with x360ce.

How to get it done

1. Extract x360ce_x64.rar to your STAR OCEAN folder

2. There are three files
- x360ce_x64.exe
- x360ce.ini
- xinput31_3.dll

Run x360ce_x64.exe

3. Just assign your button. For example Left Trigger. Click the box beside Left Trigger, choose Record

4. Then assign your controller's Left Trigger. Do the rest

5. Save and play your game normally via steam.

That's all.

If this doesn't work, try add libraries such as
• xinput1_4.dll
• xinput1_2.dll
• xinput1_1.dll
• xinput9_1_0.dll
