Sure, scoring 10,000,000 points to break out of an abstract dungeon SOUNDS tough...because it is. Of course, the Steam release of this match-three puzzle/RPG hybrid has other tasks for the endless dungeon-runner to try to complete, and here's how to obtain all 14 of them.

Scoring Achievements
Freedom
Description: Gain your freedom
How to Do It: The objective of the game is to score 10,000,000 points in a single run. You won’t be able to do this when starting out, but as you progress through the game and complete tasks, your rank will eventually go up to the point where you can legitimately challenge this achievement. Your best bet is to do this on Hero difficulty, which gives you the highest base score multiplier (120x), but also pits you against the toughest enemies in the dungeon.

Advanced Runner
Description: Score 10000000 at Rank Dungeon Master
How to Do It: Even though you’re doing this on a slightly lower difficulty level than the maximum, the lowered score multiplier (110x) will mean that it will take longer to reach the 10000000-point plateau. You might have a bit of an easier time if you’ve got one or two of the score bonus potions active, although the Potion of Invulnerability will also greatly help you out, as it gives you more wiggle room to match tiles as enemies chip away at your shield instead of pushing you backward toward death. Defeating the “boss”-type monsters, such as the Tyrannosaurus Rex and the Black Dragon, will grant a huge boost to your score, as will defeating lesser monsters quickly and gathering large chains.

The Jose
Description: Score 10000000 at Rank Explorer
How to Do It: This is even harder to pull off than “Advanced Runner”, since Explorer only gives you an 102x multiplier. Again, you’ll have a somewhat easier time reaching 10 million points if you have some of the score potions equipped. Avoid using the Gambler’s Brew potion, as your primary concern is to defeat enemies as quickly as possible to stay alive, and the 25% boost to your critical hit chance isn’t worth taking the 25% hit to your overall damage output.

Drinking Problem
Description: Score 10000000 with all potions active
How to Do It: If you’ve repaired the Alchemist’s room, you’ll gain access to potions that will make the game more challenging. These potions will add a significant advantage to your dungeon running, but also provide a significant drawback. Multiple potions can be used at the same time, and their effects carry on throughout every dungeon run until you choose to disable them. Some potions’ effects cancel each other out, so be careful which ones you equip!

New potions are made available to you every time your rank increases. By the time you reach the rank of Dungeon Master, you should have access to all nine potions. Equipping them all will give you the following effects:

  • Peasant’s Tonic: Wood and Stone tiles are now worth an extra 50%, but you don’t gain any experience from killing monsters (nullified by Philanthropic Brew)
  • Gambler’s Brew: You get a bonus 25% chance to deal critical damage with physical attacks or special damage (freezing or poison) with magical attacks, but you deal 25% less damage overall
  • Flask of Security: You gain 15% more points, but doors and treasure chests require one extra key to open
  • Potion of Midas: You don’t get any wood or stone for matching wood or stone tiles, but instead you gain 20% in gold (useful for equipment upgrades)
  • Bottled Wind: Attacks from ranged enemies will always deal 0 damage, but attacks from other types of enemies will deal 30% more damage to you
  • Hero’s Elixir: You gain 15% more points, but enemies receive 50% less damage (in other words, it takes twice as long to defeat them)
  • Philanthropic Brew: Same as the Potion of Midas, but instead of gold, you gain 20% experience (useful for gaining perks in the Training Room)
  • Potion of Invulnerability: The maximum strength of your shield is doubled, and you also get twice as many shield points per match, but you don’t get any wood, stone, experience, or gold
  • Potion of Holdfast: You gain 15% more points, but all enemies now deal 30% more damage to you
Your best chance to get this achievement is to do it on the Hero difficulty, which has the hardest enemies, but also the highest base score multiplier (120x). You’ll also want to make sure you’ve upgraded your equipment as much as possible (sword and staff for damage output and critical hits, shield for damage nullification, and armor for damage reduction and attack delay) BEFORE attempting this achievement, as you won’t be able to gather any materials for upgrading due to the effect of the Potion of Invulnerability.
Building Achievements
Spot of DIY
Description: Repair all the rooms in your home
How To Do It: Throughout the game, you’ll need to collect wood and stone by matching three or more tiles of wood or stone. Once you’ve completed a run, you’ll be sent back to your room where you can then use those materials to repair any of the “dilapidated rooms”. These rooms, once repaired, will allow you to upgrade your equipment, provided you have enough gold to do so.

Home Improved
Description: Fully upgrade your home
How to Do It: After repairing all of the rooms in your home, you’ll want to upgrade them as much as possible (which, of course, will require more wood and stone gathering on your part). The training room can be upgraded to level 4, while the Blacksmith, Staffmaker, Shieldmaker and Armorer can each be upgraded to level 3.

Higher-level rooms allow you to increase the extent to which you can upgrade your equipment. In the case of the Training room, upgrading it will grant you access to new perks that can be bought with experience. The only room that doesn’t need to be improved is that of the Alchemist, whose potions are unlocked as your rank increases rather than through paid upgrades.
Combat Achievements
Fus Do Rah
Description: Defeat every type of dragon
How to Do It: Each rank, save for the Rookie rank (which serves as the tutorial), has four different types of enemies: a melee-attacking monster, a ranged-attacking monster, a magic-attacking monster, and a boss monster. The boss monsters are considerably tougher to defeat than the other three, but give out many more points and resources.

There are three different types of dragons: the White Dragon, which appears at the Wayfarer and Vagabond ranks; the Red Dragon, which appears at the Dungeon Crawler and Scout ranks; and the Black Dragon, which only appears at the Hero rank. You won’t be able to defeat the boss monsters without a lot of upgrading. If you move up to a new rank and are unable to kill one, you can always go back to a previous level and try again once you’ve powered up a bit.

Who’s OP Now?
Description: Defeat a Treant
How to Do It: The Treant is a boss-type monster that appears on the Questor and Adventurer ranks. One of the hints that appears at the end of each run simply says “Treants OP” (OP = “over-powered”), which should serve as a warning that Treants are much more powerful than either the White or Red Dragons (see “Fus Do Rah”). Treants deal a lot of damage per hit, so unless you’ve upgraded your shield (to absorb and nullify damage) and armor (to slow down the Treant’s attacks and lessen the distance you get pushed back), you won’t get very far against it.
Other Achievements
Big Hitter
Description: Do 200 damage in one move
How to Do It: If you’ve been upgrading your sword and staff regularly, you’ll find that they deal more damage per attack. Try as best as you can to match multiple swords and staves at once. Using scrolls to convert wood and stone to swords and staves will help immensely in this endeavor, so long as you have the positioned properly.

Totally meant that
Description: Score a 12 chain
How To Do It: This takes quite a bit of luck to complete, as you have to clear enough icons to cause 12 chain reactions. Matching multiple sets of icons of once count toward building your chain as well, so if you have transformation scrolls and a lot of wood or stone pieces, try to use those to your advantage.
Crafting Achievements
The following four achievements will require you to spend a lot of gold to upgrade your equipment to their maximum levels. In order to do this, you will also need to gather wood and stone to upgrade each of your crafting rooms (see “Home Improved”) to increase the number of levels you can upgrade your equipment.

  • Excalibur (Fully upgrade your sword)
  • Shall Not Pass (Fully upgrade your staff)
  • Shining Armor (Fully upgrade your armor)
  • Vibranium (Fully upgrade your shield)

If you get The Jose, it will automatically unlock Advanced Runner if you don't have that!

No. It's just one difficulty setting. Only the dungeons get harder.

I forget, but at the beginning of the game is there a difficulty setting, or the dungeons themselves as you get higher in rank become the higher difficulties automatically? In other words is there an Easy, Medium or Hard when first starting the game? I do not want to restart all over again just to find out. Thank you.

I just made 10000000 score in dungeon master rank, but it did not reward my achievement. Does it have to be done before reaching freedom to work? Or it's just a glitch?
