How to access the HD wallpapers dlc

This guide will show you how to easily access the HD wallpapers set. It's not very hard, but if you are unfamiliar with this kind of thing, it may be challenging to figure out.

File locations

The wallpapers are stored as image files in the Okami file folder in your Steam library. I personally installed Okami on my SSD, but as a default, it will install to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common .



The Okami file folder will look like this:



Double click on it. Inside, there should be a folder called "wallpapers". Keep in mind this DLC was available as a preorder bonus, so if you did not pre-order the game or have not purchased it, they will not show up. Inside the "wallpapers" folder, there will be two folders labeled with different resolutions. Chose the folder with a resolution closest to that of your monitor, and inside will be the wallpapers.

I hated the fact I couldn't get it before the preorder stuff ended. Some people like me wouldn't mind some of the preorder stuff there.

Minor correction. this was not a "pre-order" bonus, but rather an "early purchase" bonus. As of posting this it is still available, but it won't be forever.
