TUTORIAL QUEST
Commoner class can craft armor, weapons, potions and costumes. I recommend doing the alchemy tutorial in eversun city if you haven't yet. This will help you understand how you can gather materials and refine them into crafting components. Make sure you are using commoner class, and then begin the quest:

PART 1
1. Get Trial Collection Ticket from Worker No.1 in Eversun City 229 161;
2. Talk to Jayson Marshall at 252 336 to exchange the ticket for incense;
3. Stand in the meditation area next to him
and begin meditating by clicking the little "ghost" icon above your chatbox;
4. Return to Worker No.1 once you have 20 Red Fragments

PART 2
• Speak to Master Refiner inside Ironmonger to refine your fragments

★ 20 unrefined materials = 1 refined material
★ i.e: 20 red frags gives you 1 red powder

• Return to Worker No.1 with 1 Red Powder to unlock your first recipe:
Junior Vitamin Pill

PART 3
★ To make 1 Junior Vitamin Pill:
★ Go to your skill window CTRL+X > Everyday skills > Alchemy > Tool type > Junior Vitamin Pill
1. Give the pill to Worker No.1 to complete the tutorial

CRAFTING
1) You need to have commoner skills equipped to actually craft
2) But you do not need it to be equipped if you just want to look at your crafting list

• Open your skills menu CTRL+X > Everyday skills > Alchemy • A new window will open, this is where you can find recipes that you already own • Once you own a recipe, you will always be able to make it (it's not one-time use)

Now that we're looking at our recipes, let's pretend we want to make clothing armor
Select "clothing type" and then you'll see a list of clothing you can make
Mouse over items to see info, like armor level, etc

If you want to know what materials you need to make something, just click on the item you want to make. A window will open. On the right, you will see the materials needed. The numbers in blue are the quantities required and the yellow numbers represent how many qty you have in your inventory. Once you have materials, you can click the button to make the item. Success rate is not 100%

MATERIALS
Alchemy materials can be found anywhere, pretty easily. Some of them are drops from monsters, whilst others are farmed with your commoner skills. You'll do pretty good if you get them all to Lv 4. Here are the commoner skills used for gathering:

Fishing
Fishing materials used to make HP/MP potions
Forestry
Forestry materials used to make Clothing armor
Farming
Farming materials used to make HP/MP potions

Mining
Mining materials used to make Light and Heavy armor, and Shields
Herding
Herding materials used to make Robe and Dancewear armor
Meditation
Meditation materials used to make weapons

If you don't feel like killing monsters or afk farming, most farming mats can be found in stalls. The ones located near Ironmonger in eversun city usually specialize in such materials. The NPC dressed in blue just nearby also sells monster-drop materials :) There are other NPCs like that in each city and they sell different materials.

LEVEL ALCHEMY
There are 2 things to keep in mind when leveling alchemy. First, to level up alchemy, you simply need to craft things. Anything. You'll gain alchemy exp, and you can see your current alchemy level in the skills menu CTRL+X > Everyday skills. Locate 'alchemy' and look at the level listed just underneath. That is your crafting level.

The second thing to keep in mind, is that eventually you'll hit a cap and won't gain anymore alchemy exp... To raise the cap, you need to put points into a commoner skill called "Apex of Alchemy." Lv 5 Apex is required to make level 58 items. Though a lot of people say lv 50+ armor is cheaper bought from NPC than making it, so you might be alright with Lv 4 Apex. Also, this means you'll have to level up commoner a bit so you can invest in the Apex skill.

TIPS • When alchemy level is low, you can mass produce vitamin pills to quickly level up alchemy • We noticed that making Heavy Armor seems to give us more alchemy exp

LEVELING COMMONER
As you've already noticed, probably, commoner doesn't have any fighting skills. You'll do alright just by poking things up to level 17 or so; afterwhich it really becomes a chore... To level this class faster, we recommend leveling up a different fighting class and then go to the Dojo in eversun city to sub the fighting skills onto commoner.

‣ Read more about changing jobs and subbing skills

Dancer aoes is pretty fast if you just want level 20ish; and can solo.

Mercenary is a well rounded class to sub on commoner as well, since they are always needed in a party; and so hard to find T_T

★ If you plan to solo commoner, then we'd recommend blademaster and witch doctor, (maybe hunter), do an attack speed build so you don't have to worry much about mana; and bring hp potions.

RECIPES
This ought to be my favourite feature in this game! Most maps will have hidden recipes inside blue cauldrons ;o The hidden ones are free and will mostly consist of helm, hand, shoes and potions. Most body and pants recipe need to be purchased from NPCs. Weapons can be stolen from monsters if you use pilfered skill from Thief -- or purchased from NPC.

Will add guide later with recipe pots locations and pictures :) as well as NPC locations
will put link here. Poke me if i forget XD

:thetreeoflife: I usually have 1 character always farming and then another always selling. It helps keep your stocks and never need to take down your shop to go farming

You can start by buying just 2-3 tools and once you sell your mats, you'll have enough gold to buy double the amount of tools! It's a nice way to get started :)

I used to sell misc items before and while some were expensive, it took ages to sell. Mats go like cupcakes :hmm: Plus there aren't many shops near ironmonger. I recommend looking at those and farm something they don't have

If you end up farming mats that others have, I recommend violet powder and silk. I sell out almost every weekend! People buy in bulks, it makes me angry sometimes (because it takes so long to farm them) Like, nobody taught you to leave some for others? LOL

You can also take advantage of seasonal events, as they frequently require Flour. So that's a good time to sell that; 500-700g each :hmm:

:str: You can also find good killing spots and kill there for a hour or two. I hear the white monkeys in foggy forest is pretty good. For lower levels, you can do the rats at the very end of Townhall Basement or the zombies inside Farell Family Crypt.

Some people will use hunter to farm. If you can 1-hit things, it's very convenient. Personally I use dancer aoes since I just go to FFC or the rats... But I still prefer selling mats in my stall. I can afk and still make money xD

:LupCoin: If you're willing to drop some real-life money, selling suba points will get you rich in no time. Or even buy shop items for the only purpose of reselling.
