This guide is basics. No spoilers here, No CG's. This is meant to help with the poem aspect of the game. I have made a chart which makes everything more digestible. Added in a few tips and tricks that will be helpful. I also reference a more complete guide if you want to go super in depth. Which is by Bubblebeam.

I have seen very similar stuff. However I wish to stream line this thing for those that want to go through it a bit quicker than others. So I made these charts to make it more digestible.


Welcome, The following shows simply what word you should use for which girl, In parentheses denotes the secondary affect. Example: You are writing a poem for Sayori and choose adventure, Then Natsuki would also be affected positively.

ALWAYS TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE SAVEGAME MECHANICS.

To get the bad ending you do not need to choose a specific girl, rather it requires that you don't get all the CG's. The best ending is most efficiently gotten by choosing NATSUKI follow her route until you lick her finger (yum). Likewise going the Sayori route and writing three poems for her can and usually does lead to the bad ending. From what I have heard as well as experienced on my first run, Choose YURI to help out leading up to the fair.

Keep in mind you need to make a save at the first poem before you choose any words. That way you can go back and take different routes. Saves time and there is plenty of places to put your SAVES.

You don't need to reinstall the game to play it again. Go to game install location ( D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Doki Doki Literature Club ) then go to the GAME folder. after that go and delete the FIRST RUN file.
