For the beginning.

This simple guide will help you to become nano-augmented agent and kill a bunch of terrorists while wearing stylish trench coat and cool sunglasses. To fully understand this guide you have to know Deus Ex, if you're going to read this guide without knowing the game you'll find here some jokes you won't understand and barely playable character build.

Character

The choice of character is up to you. For me none of them looks good enoug for JC. I suggest picking Scareface or Bohdi but their voices are completely diffrent than JC's and hearing them was ruining experience of playing as JC for me. I choosed John Wick becouse his voice is kind of similiar to the voice of JC. When I'm listening to John's Wick's voice I hear the same lack of interest that is well known for all players of Deus Ex.

Mask

JC never goes on mission without his sunglasses, some may wonder why he's wearing sunglasses in buildings or even at night. They don't know that JC's vision is augmented. I recommend using Collateral, although they're infamous item and can be hard to get for some folks. If you don't have Collateral you may also use Terminator but in my opinion they're not as good.

Primary weapons

As an UNATCO agent you have acces to pretty good armory. I'll tell you about best guns you can bring on a gunfight although choice of weaponry I left to you, my dear reader, choose what matches best your gameplay.

Assault rifle (JP36 Rifle)

You can't find better weapon for medium and long ranges. Very effective against light troopers, but keep an eye on your ammo.

Shotgun (Predator 12G Shotgun)

Best on short distance, can blow a huge hole in almost every terrorist.

Sniper Rifle (R93 Sniper Rifle)

Ideal for taking out dangerous targets even miles away from them. With this scope you can't miss. Remember that headshot is always a lethal takedown.

Secondary weapons

Don't be fooled by the word: "secondary". These weapons are as much important as your primary weapon, sometimes may even save your live. Every good agent has an ace up his sleeve and there are some for you.

Crossbow

Crossbow let's you eliminate terrorist without alarming whole enemy base. With these tranquilizer darts, you'll have nonlethal way to take down an enemy.

Pistol

Kicks like a horse but can eliminate every punk that stands on your way.

GEP Gun

Ther's nothing better then a trust worhty GEP Gun when you're against heavy armored troops or sentry bot. Kills anyone and anything that is threating the security of citizens. Unfortunetly it's not possible to kill an opponent by tossing GEP Gun at him. GEP Gun is always a silent takedown.

Throwable

That's rather obvious. Grab some LAM's and let the fun begin. When you blow your enemies to pieces don't forget to say:" You've droped something. He he."

LAM

Melee

Bringing knife to a gunfight is not the best idea but your freaking JC Denton! The best UNATCO agent and those filthy terrorists can't touch you even if you're holding a simple knife.

Riot prod (Buzzer)

Sometimes killing all terrorists is not an option this is when riot prod comes in handy.

Baton (Telescop baton)

Stylish just like the owner. If you're a fan of nonlethal takedowns this is for you.

Combat knife (Trautman knife)

That's more like it. My personal favourite on this list. Matches up sentence: "Good terrorist is dead terrorist".

Dragon's Tooth (Shinsakuto Katana)

Dragon's Tooth can cut every terrorist in half, seriously, this is way to easy.

Perks

It depends of your style of game. Infiltrator if you're vents crawling guy and muscle if you complete your missions by killing all the bad guys with your assault rifle in fair fight.

Skills

Skills are similiar to perks, I'm not going to talk about possible ways, if you play with sniper rifle go for sniper rifle skills and so on. I'll just point some skills that in my opinion are necessary to play as JC. And don't take swimming, it's useless.

Mastermind

Forced friendship is essential for JC, sometimes you have to catch terrorist alive. Unfortunetly.

Enforcerer

Resilience is absolute must have. "Reduces the visual effect duration of Flahbangs by 75%". Eyes of casual human are not possible to do such things but your vision is augmented. And you have sunglasses.

Ghost

I strongly recommend taking all skills from shinobi tree, if you do so yours lockpicks and multitools will last much longer than usual.

Everything else is up to you.

Ending. What a shame.

I've taught you everything i know, now it's time for you to go. You're now the most handsome agent, you can deal with every punk that will stand on your way (watch out for the karkians though). Make good use of it. By the way, Denton, stay out of the ladies restroom. That kind of activity embarasses the agency more then it does you.
