Getting the Lemming Party and Subversive Engineering achievements at the same time

What are the achievements?

Lemming Party

In the first level of the last group of levels, there are little creatures that look a little bit like Lemmings. To get the achievement, you just need to have a lot of them.

Subversive Engineering

As the description for the achievement says, you need to have a level solution that takes a long time (over 10000 cycles) to finish.

Why do both achievements at the same time?

Because the lemmings move around randomly, they fill up a volume a little bit like a liquid. This is an easy way to make your solution take longer, and because the Lemming Party requires you to get a lot of Lemmings, it made sense to me to do them together.

Getting the achievements

Get the lemmings out of their holes

A sensor hooked up to a pusher does the job here. You should only get lemmings out of the hole farthest from your lifters.

Getting enough lemmings

Just wall off the area where the lemmings come out, with the wall being two blocks tall. My solution ended up taking 10.5k cycles, so if you make it any smaller than what I've got here you run the risk of finishing at 9.9k cycles and having to do it again.

Lifting the lemmings

Make sure the lemmings will only be able to get to it after they've filled up the first level.
You'll need two lifters, each with a sensor connected to a pusher.

A path to the processor, but don't have conveyors all the way.

With conveyors the whole way, it ended up taking 9.9k cycles :(

Distribute the lemmings

By using four platforms and then a conveyor, it will wait until there are five packaged lemmings. When the fifth lemming comes along, the first lemming will get pushed under the sensor and conveyed away, and the other four will be pushed onto their conveyors.

if you use fewer converyor belts at the end, you can also force it to take more cycles to push it all the way to the product recievers
that's how I got 10048 cycles anyway

You can also "reduce input rate" to -10 (MINUS TEN!!)
