Tank Burger achievement guide on Solo Mode

Achievement Objective: Kill a Tank with melee weapons
This guide will show how to gain the achievement “tank burger” with the help of bots. Yes the bots will not shoot the tank and will help you take it down really easily.

Preparation

1) The First thing you have to do is go to Mutations and pick the mutation “Chainsaw Massacre”. This gives all the survivors only chainsaws and pistols to use. Don’t worry about the pistols as the bots will not use them. Just make sure they all pick up a chainsaw. The chainsaws also have an infinite amount of fuel.

2) Choose Easy mode so the Tank has only a short amount of life. You can choose to make the game public or private as it will not affect the outcome.

3) Choose the Dark carnival campaign and the chapter “The Barns”. A tank is most likely going to spawn where the bumper cars are or before you enter the barns or when you are on top of the barns.

Fighting the Tank

This fight is only going to last 5-10 seconds on easy mode. As soon as the tank comes, go and kill him, all the bots will follow you. Don’t be afraid to get close, the tank doesn’t do a significant amount of damage on easy mode.
NOTE: If even a single bullet hits the tank then you'll fail this achievement!

This shows the different types of damage on a tank on Left 4 dead 2. It took me only 5-10 to kill him on easy mode with bots as said before.

Alternative way:

You can also get this achievement on speed runs on any campaign. One hit the tank with any melee weapon then run like hell, the tank will die when it times out and your team will get the achievement. If using this method, I highly recommend kill any bots as the will shoot the tank.

If it doesn't spawn at the bumpers, it will most likely do so just some steps ahead in the stables.
