longer when this character fills them.
Good for beginners.

Irma Dillinger

The satiety of the character is wasted more slowly and requires less
food until complete recovery.

She carries a service pistol and four cartridges in a holder.

Requirements: get a second bad ending
in the Challenge mode.

Olaf is a master of oven and generators. You use less wood and coal with him around and get more bang for each. Casper is my favorite 3rd since he starts with tools that I recommend saving for Zone 4 and onwards. Till then, just open every door with the default option (risk of injury for removing debris, but you will want it)

For all future players reading this, a few tips to consider when trying to unlock characters

Katashi Hayashi: start a game with Phillip (doctor) and use his first aid kit immeditely. Do this for 100 times to unlock this guy. Katashi is useless (imo) though.

Emil: Use Casper (tools), Olaf (fuel and generator mastery) and Martin (door breaker) to speed through Zone 1. Hell, Zone 1 is easy.

Olga: Olaf, keep restarting zone 1 until you get a fuel.barrel for free refills.

All others: Philip + Olaf + Casper.

The last combination is a gamebreaking combo. Save all food for Phillip, keep him warm and sleep enough. Use the other two to progress the game. The lack of food, sleep and warmth will eventually KO them, but Phillip can revive them FOR FREE. Also, they will KO fast enough again to not get a madness.

Is there any time that is better to get burst of anger? I've played quite abit and still have yet to get this madness. And what objects are they referring to that you need to break?

Also... I can't confirm this, but I'm pretty sure that to get the ending that unlockes Ronald Witkes, what you have to do is: At the end zone, first look at the alien reactor (with any character) and this will unlock the second dialogue option. Choosing that will cause another rescue team to come, resulting in the "good" ending.
Kratochek Jul 20, 2018 @ 1:01am
For Emil Gustav, the description should say "stamina" and not "cheerfulness."

Hey, you missed a food item, when a character is affected by 'Gluttony' they can find a Cheeseburger (or Hamburger I forget which) in an imaginary fridge they loot (that is actually a different loot object). Even if you lose Gluttony it stays in your inventory and does in fact recover a good amount of hunger when eaten (I figured it would like turn out to be trash they hallucinated or something but no).

Sure.

i added you on steam so it's easier to communicate than send comments and stuff

Goddangit, Steam glitched, deleted one of the screenshots (with the freezing alien) and won't let me reupload it until I take another one it seems. I'll reupload it later.

Not sure which exact madness caused it but I only just acquired the Doubtful Utility madness for the first time.
That character also had Gluttony madness but I used to have it on different characters in earlier runs and never did I happen onto a burger before.
So, ultimately, not sure.

Honestly, I'm stumped on what many of the madnesses do but it would be a good idea to document those as well. Maybe I should start by screenshotting their tooltips.
