Darksiders Legendary Enhancements-Locations & Details.

Guide for the 4 Legendary Enhancements in Darksiders. *Revamped on 15/2/2016*

This was made to help you acquire the Enhancements in game to upgrade your weapons. Enhancements slotted in weapons may provide greater effects. Eg. War's Glory on Chaoseater.

Darksiders Legendary Enhancements- War's Glory.

The 1st Enhancement you can acquire is War's Glory.

This is first obtainable as the other Enhancements require gears you have not collected* This Enhancement is recommend to collect as in benefits War greatly in the game.

"When used, it unlocks the mastery of weapons, dramatically increasing War's combat prowess."
-Ingame Description

This enhancement is found in the Iron Canopy.

After your mini boss fight, the 5 insignia has vanished. Collect the Enhancement before heading any further

Guide

After your fight, head through the door on the west and follow the passage through the sewers.



Defeat the minor enemies in the room after you have arrived from the sewers then head towards a north passage to an area with geysers.

Cross the path with the geysers and using the Abyssal Chain. Float up the first geyser and turn 180 degrees and you should land on a ledge with a chest located in front of your position.

Effects

Slotted Bonus-
. Drastically increases Chaos gained via Chaoseater
. Drastically increase Chaos gained by other melee weapons
. Drastically increases the amount of weapon experience gained

Passive Bonus-
. Drastically increases the duration of Chaos Form
. Drastically increases weapon damage

Darksiders Legendary Enchancements- Strife's Offering

The 2nd Enhancement you findd.

Strife's Offering can be found in the Ashlands to the far eastend of an area where you have encountered 8 or more Goremaws. You will need the Abyssal Chain.

" When equipped, this enhancement greatly increases War's prowess with projectile attacks."

Guide

Return towards that area with 8+ Goremaws.





You may or not have seen a chest far down the eastern end by itself, swing across towards the chest with the chain.

Effects

Slotted Bonus
. Boosts weapon damage
. Generates Wrath on killing blows
. Generates Chaos on killing blows

Passive Bonus
. Drastically increases projectile attack damage
. Increases War's defense against projectile attacks.

Darksiders Legendary Enhancements- Fury's Embrace

Fury's Embrace is the 3rd Enhancement. It requires the Voidwalker.

Fury's Embrace is a must have enhancements and must be slotted on a weapon* immediately after collecting it.

"This legendary artifact dramatically boosts War's wrath generation, and reveals the location of all items on the current map."
-Ingame Description

Fury's Embrace is found within the Black Throne which is accessible from Samael in the Scalding Gallow after you have returned the 4 hearts of the chosen. It can be easily found on your way towards the first guardian if you look carefully.

Guide

As you are progress through the game, you should have passed the hall where you have to toss a bomb into a portal to remove a crystal blocking your path. You should have been able to clear that out and reach the upper level.

On the upper level, walk towards the end of the hallway and look for a portal on the top left and shoot it with an uncharged shot.



Head towards to the nearest portal you can find ( it should be on the bottom level near the bomb growth or the portal that rises up when stood on the round platform). It should teleport you across to a platform, stand on the round sun platform button and it should activate rubbles for you to cross and well, you should know what to do on this step forward.

Slotted Bonus
. Wrath leeched on every weapon strike

Passive Bonus
. Boosts Wrath power damage
. Reveals all world maps and items
. Additional Wrath boost on killing blows

Darksiders Legendary Enhancements- Death's Blessing

The 4th and final Enhancement, Death's Blessing.

This enhancement benefits with the scythe/harvester and soul harvesting.
It is found in the Scalding Gallow/Ashland tunnel.

"Pulsing with strange dark energy, this unholy sigil bears the mark of War's brother, DEATH."
-Ingame Description

The location is inside a tunnel. You should remember the two Portals. One in the room that you have the switch in order to cross and a Chronosphere, the other placed on the other side of the gate on top.

Start inside the room where you have the switch, Chronosphere and the Voidwalker portal platform.

Shoot a portal on the Voidwalker portal and turn the switch after you have activated the Chronosphere and cross the gate.

After crossing the gate and it closes, you should be able to spot a Voidwalker platform on top of the gate, shoot a charged one there and a link is created.



Turn the switch again and cross back to the other side of the gate where you should have the room with the switch, Chronosphere and Voidwalker portal which is now opened. Turn the switch and wait till the gate rises to the top and when it happens quickly jump through the portal and float across, you should land and find a chest.



Effects

Slotted Bonus
. Leeches weapon damage and convert it to health
. Drastically increases weapon damage
. Drastically increases the amount of souls acquired from objects and creatures
. Additional soul rewards when assigned to the Scythe

Not mentioned on PC
. 25% more souls gained when monsters are killed with a sword/gauntlet which is slotted with Death's Blessing
. +60% more souls gained when monsters are killed with The Harvester ONLY when it is slotted with Death's Blessing
. Slotting any weapon, even the sword with Death's Blessing will not give any extra souls if the monsters are killed with an Instant Kill.

Good guide, but the Death's Blessing enhancement is found in the scalding gallows/ashlands tunnel, not drowned pass.
