Tomb raider 4 Full screen/ Lag free/100% working 1080p-Win10

This is a Small Quick guide to get TR4 working 100% in 1080p with no issues on Windows 10

Okay. so first things first. your going to want to head over to this website.

Once your there, there is a link to a Onedrive file called "Peixoto" (screenshot below showing what link to go on)

once downloaded take it out of the zip folder onto your Desktop.

Once you open the folder you will met will a few Applications. your wanting to open the Help.exe file (screenshot below)

Once your in the Help.exe first of all you will notice the lest window shows a bunch of games. in there locate "Tomb raider 4".

2. Click it and on the right side window scroll down to "Settings"

3. under settings you want to Tick "Force native resolution"

4. After you Ticked that under that you will see "FMV scale" and then it will say 0.0.

5. use the + icon on the app to increase it to "3.1" (Screenshot showing you)











6. Under the window showing the games it will say "Start" and "Create Shortcut" Click "Start"

*NOTE* once you click start you will be met with a window saying "Please indecate the path of the game's exicutable. This is a one time only procedure" just click okay.

7. locate the "tomb4.exe" normally located under the C:\ drive.

*NOTE* to check it go to "This PC" and look for "Local disk" it will have a (C:) after it to indecate the drive.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Tomb Raider (IV) The Last Revelation

Upabove is where it should be located so copy that to the bar at the top of a folder to locate you there.

8. Once you have found the "tomb4" application click it and then click "open"

NOTES

PLEASE NOTE I DO NOT OWN RIGHTS TO THIS APPLICATION

But i do use it my self and happy to say its perfectly working fine.

*NOTE* if you want to play the game with these setting each time you will have to boot the game through the Peixoto tool witch in the end kinda renders steam useless for the game (but thats a price to pay to enjoy the game in 1080p)

just so you know i have only tested this out on my pc witch is running at 1080p on Win10 (Windows 10)

also use this tool at you own risk i have carefully instructed this out so if you break the game by not following the instrctions. its your own fault. also this will not harm your computer in any way.

*NOTE* Anti-Virus's will remove the file so you will have to either Disable it or mark the folder as "safe"

You dont need anything to run this game, all you have to make sure is that you "select" a screen resolution first to prevent the DX warning. Exactly the same for Chronicles. Only Tr2 and 3 need the boarderless window fix. Which is free and a tiny little one click install.

@FATandSTUMPY.TV which codec pack you installed and version? I installed the latest klite codec and the HQ FMV still dont load.

Right so I have downloaded a newer Version of Peixoto and followed everything i have listen on the above and everything worked fine (except FMV's didnt show but that you can download aswell as the Codacs to run them found under Tomb Raider 4 on the Peixoto application under High Quality FMV's) also can you both Confirm you have Steam Editions of Tomb Raider 4 as i did download a pirate copy of TR4 to test this and the game wouldn't boot.

also can you both confirm you are starting the game via the Peixoto app and not steam?

It doesn't work. After I started the game, I get the "tomb4.exe has stopped working" error. Do you know how can I solve this problem?
