How to shoot your weaponry

This guide will explain how to shoot. Shooting is the most important task in the game, so you obviously need to know how.

Step One: Verification

Make sure Cuphead is actually installed on your PC. You can make sure by typing "Cuphead" in the search bar of your PC or looking through your files. Make sure you can correctly preform the next step.

Step Two: Running the Game

Once you locate the game on your PC, run the program by double clicking, or however else you run programs. This is one of the most simple steps in the guide, as well as the most important.

Step Three: Navigating the Main Menu

When the game starts you will be taken to an orange screen, where the message "HDMR Studios" will appear. You will then be taken to a screen where Cuphead and his pal Mugman are swaying to the music of a barber shop type quartet. Put your finger on any button or key, and press down on it. You will then advance to a screen with a normal cup on it. Press down the interaction key (The default on keyboard is Z), then click it again. You will then go to a loading screen. The main overworld (or story, if you have not started playing yet) will appear.

Step Four: Entering a Stage

Use the arrow keys or joystick to move on the overworld map. Walk up to one of the many stage entry points (They're not in watercolor, and they "wiggle" a little). A prompt with the interacton button will appear. Press the button to open the stage menu, then press it again to enter the stage.

Step Five: Shooting

Once you have entered a stage, wait until the narrator finishes speaking. Then, press the shoot button (Default is X, either one). Hold it down.
You will notice that cuphead appears to be finger-gunning, and you will see magic bullets being shot.

Congratulations! You now know how to shoot. Once you master the art of shooting, you'll collect all the contracts in no time! To keep shooting, keep holding the button down. It will still work i you let go of the button, but why would you want to?
