Two simple Mesa builds for sowing death and personal enjoyment
Da royallyTipsy
Just a small guide on Mesa builds I made for my clanmates. Should be helpful to anyone who wants to explore the frame, however.

A simple guide I am pretty much pasting from clan Discord, because I spent enough time on it to worry if it suddenly disappears somewhere. And because this way it is easier to link.

Something like this is my default build for Mesa:

(Yeah, my Mesa has way too many forma than most ppl would put on a frame, but it can fit in with far less.)

Aura and Exilus mods tend to be switched around a lot (in particular, meta-lovers would put the Corrosive Projection in there, which I currently don't have in), but the rest of the mods earned their place over hundreds of hours I've played as Cowgirl. As you can see, here I go for a balanced raise of all stats. Contrary to what you might think, this build works absolutely fine with Peacemaker as well. Why?

First thing is that Peacemaker benefits far, far more from proper modding of the secondary than it does from Power Strength. As with all "exalted weapons", Regulators benefit from all non-specific (e.g. no Rivens, no augments, no class-specific mods like Concealed Explosives) installed on the secondary. It doesn't matter what the stats of the secondary itself are, only its mods. In fact, as long as you don't drop too low on Power Strength (and you shouldn't drop somewhere below 125% since Shattering Shield's damage reduction maxes out then), Peacemaker works fine even on Sorties (and as long as you bring a properly modded secondary).

Something like this works very well for both Peacemaker and weapon use:

Technically, Peacemaker benefits from critical chance/damage mods, likes firerate mods, and due to its base high firerate is also great at adding status, but truth is that Peacemaker is so OP that even suboptimal builds usually still work. As long as a weapon has the three mandatory mods (Hornet Strike, Lethal Torrent, Barrel Diffusion) you are probably okay.

This Mesa build is also really good in that it doesn't force you to use Regulators. Since Power Duration is pretty long, you will absolutely be able to play the role of a tank as long as you can keep her 2 and 3 up.

Speaking of those legendary non-Peacemaker abilities, here is another build I occasionally use for fun:

"Y max range? Are you royally tipsy?" Thing is, with a range that huge, Shooting Gallery will keep on stunning pretty much every enemy on the tile. And not just for you, but for one other Tenno in the squad, if you aren't alone in the mission. It is not as reliable as hard CC of Frost or Nyx, but it is definitely enough to carry you long hours into survivals as long as you keep moving around.

And best part is? Peacemaker still totally works. Yep.

The only problem with removing Vitality is that a high level slash proc will mean death as it bypasses damage reductions. A good example is this video of a dude named Xzorn on Warframe forums: https://youtu.be/AKHejzUttJc?t=1m51s

I run Vigor (I don't own the primed version) and Vitality so I have enough time to switch to operator and Vazarin my way out of death.

this way you have very high damage and with 206% duration and 150% efficency you have the max energy drain decrease from peacemaker, You can also remove Vitaility to add intensify for 200% damage or whatever else you want.

Your Mesa build is weak should never build for shoot gallery because Shatter shield protects you from ranged enemies already
this is my build which is for real Mesa Players

many frames need 4-6 forma especily for the end game builds my octavia have 4 forma in. But there are many frames you can play realy good without that many forma in it like 1 forma or so is enough for many frames.

Could cut a forma and use Pistol Amp :)

i play her to relax as well (easily one of my favorite frames) and i wouldnt swap it out for armor, hers isnt very high.

i just prefer having more duration with narrow minded, so i can just pop shatter shield/shooting gallery and never have to worry about dying, plus the enemies wont be shooting back as much either.

if you do want to use one tho, Vitality is better (as you get more out of it, and you also get armor reduction)

just my suggestions, nothing wrong with how you use her of course, i just prefer more utility i suppose over having so much extra tankiness/survivability

SnattaCat, Mesa's Shatter Shield's damage reduction works on the shields. So... Specifically on Mesa, shields are not garbage at all. There is perhaps some math to be made whether it is worth switching Redirection for Steel Fiber, however, though I presonally recall trying it and not liking it before.

If you can survive without Vitality/Redirection, props to you, but I wouldn't recommend it to someone else: it is possible to do that, but it is a bit too close to living on the edge for me. I play Mesa to relax, and for personal enjoyment, as the name of the guide tells. :3
