Keybindings For Those Who Use Keyboards

My personal keybindings that I found worked the best if you're stuck with a keyboard like I am.

Keybindings

Move Up: Up arrow key (default)

Move Down: Down arrow key (default)

Move Left: Left arrow key (default)

Move Right: RIght arrow key (default)

Jump: Space

Dash: D

Shoot: W

EX/Special: Left shift

Lock Aim: A

Switch Weapons: E

Reasoning

I find these keys work the best for me because they're closer to what most other games have for default keybinds. Most games have you "moving forward" or pressing W a lot, so I bound that to shoot as for 95% of cuphead you will be holding that key down. The other keys just fit in with what felt good for me. This is not meant to be "the best" keybinding out there, it's my personal preference and you are free to use this, switch it around, or completly ignore it if you feel another binding works better for you.

While I do use a keyboard myself, I'd still recommend using a controller as the game is noticeably harder in my opinion if you use a keyboard, but for those people like me who don't have a controller, I hope this can help.

Its funny, I came up with the same setup only I have WASD for moving and the arrows for the actions, but in exactly the same way.

i use wasd for movement, space jump, shift dash, j to shoot, k for ex, L for lock

i played hollow knight for 80 hours before this so i bound it to the same controls (effectively) so i wouldnt have to spend 10hrs getting used to it again.

arrows - move
z - jump
x - shoot
c - dash
a - EX
tab - switch weapon
shift - lock

I agree with wasd for move but there is still the issue of aiming, So I use the arrows to aim (i have a reason for the crime i'm about to commit) and zero on the Numpad to shoot (i know i know i'm a monster but I ain't using j hell at that point x and f are respectable choices)
