How to play Nioh with Dark Souls Controls

If you like to play Nioh with Dark Souls controls, I will show you how to play with same Dark Souls controls in Nioh ( as possible )

1- Go to System From The Menu

2- Choose Controls

3- In Control Configuration Select ( Type B )

4- Change The Buttons As The Image Below

5- Press ( X ) or ( What Equals That In PS4 Controller )

6- Enjoy ;-)

Someone knows some way to disable the movement of locking enemies with the mouse scrolling?

If you want to use keyboard it's playable if you do some quick changes. For example, they bound useless garbage to the biggest and most useful key in the keyboard: space should be changed to the main dodge key. Then switch the Ki and Switch Stance key to Alt and probably Ctrl to block. You can still remember 'i j k', usually i = y and j = x on the low iq troller which is important for some menus and things. You might want to also change 'stance changes' to arrow keys so you can easy press Alt + up etc. to change to up stance.

Also note that tapping Alt/Change Stance is how you use the Regenerate Ki thing, then after about 10 minutes of adjutsing you should be able to play just like on DS or other games that mapped keys properly.

The game did not patch the coding limitation in button prompts, so prompts for some moves are going to be wrong when you change them.

I tried this, but without a way to map living weapon as well its gonna get you killed eventually. also noticed that respawning at a shrine undid the change to the confirmation button.

As usual when i play any action RPG I tried setting the controls to DS controls but this game has very silly control display (still shows B and then you need to press A, etc) also it totally busts the stances if you modify the controls.

I guess you could get used to it, but it really makes it more complicated for no reason dont you think? I feel like the developers should have made the controller system just a tad bit more flexible so people could enjoy different controls. For example I would love to bind attack to RB and RT like in Dark Souls, but that messes up the inventory handling which is a bit of a bummer.
