Nioh fps fix
Step 1: open your nvidia control panel.
This can be found if you right click the desktop.

Step 2: navigate the 3d settings in nvidia.

Step 3: In manage 3d setting select Program settings.
Step 4: Add Nioh to the Program settings like this:

Step 5: Select High- performance Nvidia processor. Note: This step may not exist on the destop versions so just skip it.

Step 6: adjust the setting below the high performance box accordingly to in the image below.

Step 7: launch Nioh's first menu and select settings.

step 8: adjust the settings the same as picture below.

Step 9: enjoy!

NOTE: You May Have To Adjust The Setting In Game Aswell.

I have the same specs to the tee, and this fixed the horrible slow motion. Good guide! Obviously some other good ideas is to update your graphics drivers and laptop drivers! Cheers ^__^

To a first Nooh playthrough!

Unfortunately did not work for me, currently using a 1660 Ti.

Worked for me! Yet to see if having a bunch of stuff on the screen affects it, but it's much better even on launch. Thanks muchacho

Kind of frustrating that my PC runs Halo:MCC on the highest setting but couldn't handle Nioh....

The lag spikes may come from the game trying to locate a controller, so put one in and it should stop, doesn't help on the weird slow motion effect though.

Have a 970m as well. The lag spikes every few seconds won't go, no matter what settings I change. Any other advise?

Didn't work with a GeForce 2070 RTX... and I can play other games just fine that are more demanding at max settings, or close to max. Still random crashing with Nioh. Never happens on my other computer where Nioh does work fine on my 960.
