I've been slacking with updates. Check out Aeon Flux posts in the comments section.
I will try to update the guide this week.

Console commands are all over the internet. Now you'll find them in 1 place

Commands for a wide variety of cheats or events.

Ill add whenever I have something. Or if you suggest me any

Open the console with the ~ key (tilde)
Generic cheat commands
invincible - Godmode

==============
Resources
==============

minerals - gives 5000 minerals (default)
minerals 10000 - Gives 10000 minerals

energy - gives 5000 energy (default)
minerals 10000 - Gives 10000 energy

influence - Gives 1000 default
inlfuence 250 - Gives 250 influence points

instant_build
Build your ships and buildings instantly, AI gets this cheat too.
Best way to use this cheat is to pause the game. Build and then disable the cheat again.
Research
engineering - Gives 5000 engineering points in your "storage"
engineering 10000 - Gives 10000 points in your "storage"

society - Gives 5000 society points in your "storage"
society 10000 - Gives 10000 society points in your "storage"

physics - Gives 5000 physics points in your "storage"
physics 10000 - Gives 10000 physics points in your "storage"

Instantly all research:

research_all_technologies
research_all_technologies 1 (Including crisis techs? Needs testing)

Finish current research:

finish_research
Planet
Adding resources to a habbitable planet
planet_resource <type> <amount>

Example:
planet_resource mineral 50
Will add 50 minerals spread over all tiles.

Example 2:
planet_resource sr_betharian 1
Will add betharian stone on a random tile

changing planets' climate

planet_class pc_XXXXXXX
where XXXXXX is
  • arid
  • desert
  • savanna
  • alpine
  • tundra
  • arctic
  • continental
  • ocean
  • tropical
  • gaia

planet size
Use planet_size X where X is a number between 1 and 25
Caution: Do not go above 25 as the planets interface shows only 25 tiles MAX

Celestial body resources
Add various minerals, energy, research type or strategic resources to an astroid, barren world or any other uninhabbitable planet (Some may work on habitable words)

Command will only add 1. Repeat the command on a world to add more

Adding research to an astroid / uninhabbitable planet / gas giant
First SELECT AN ASTROID or PLANET, then

effect orbital_deposit_tile={add_deposit=d_society_deposit}
Adds 1 society research
effect orbital_deposit_tile={add_deposit=d_physics_deposit}
Adds 1 physics research
effect orbital_deposit_tile={add_deposit=d_engineering_deposit}
Adds 1 engineering research

Adding minerals and energy.

effect orbital_deposit_tile={add_deposit=d_mineral_deposit}
Adds 1 mineral
effect orbital_deposit_tile={add_deposit=d_energy_deposit}
Adds 1 energy
Events & Crisis
Open the console and type

Endgame crisis

event crisis.10 - Scourge
event crisis.100 - Scourge queen event

event crisis.1000 - Unbidden
event crisis.1010 - Unbidden 2nd invaders
event crisis.1020 - Unbidden 3rd invaders

event crisis.2000 - Contingency

Dragon pet and armour

event guardian.663 - this should get you the egg project
event guardian.661 - this will get you the bones project to get the dragon scale armor.
Gateway
If you never encountered a disabled gateway and only reactivated gateways, use:

event apoc.1

note: this should be fixed as of latest patch but I still see this question popup occasionally.

If for some reason you aren't able to get the Gateway reactivation even, use:
effect give_technology = { tech = tech_gateway_activation }

If for some reason you aren't getting the Gateway construction research, use:

effect give_technology = { tech = tech_gateway_construction }

If you have set gateway spawn at 0 when you start a new game, you will NEVER get the gateway tech.

Same goes for the wormhole tech. If it's set to 0 then you'll never get the explore wormhole event.

Sorry folks. Fixed some errors and added instant build cheat.
Fixed the special resource (sr_XXX) aswell. Game does not add resources when SR is used. Using D_XXX works no problem

The function for resources changed to "effect add_deposit=d_minerals_1" and clear deposits is "effect add_deposit={clear_deposits=yes}". Add modifier remains unchanged. Type "deposits" in the console for a list of values you can use with add_deposit.

Hey, can't you just look at the files to find the names of the features?

Should be in Stellaris/common/deposit, 01_planetary_deposits is the one with geothermal and all
I didn't test them all, but it seams to work

Same command while clicking the planet, but you need to know what the feature is called. The names seem pretty intuitive so far but here are some examples. These can be added after settling, untested on what happens pres scan or pre settlement. Also note that for features you will need to save and load before you see the districts update in the gui, i don't know if they are functional before that save and load.

Sorry but, can someone show me what is the new command to give resource space in version 2.2 with the megacorp, when I cheat one planet and make it habitable it doesnt have any resource distrit space...
