Introduction
Have you ever noticed that the FOV slider in this game seems a bit off? Even though it's set to 90, it doesn't feel the same as in other games. Well, there's a reason for that. Unlike other games, Turok 2's FOV slider is actually dictated by its vertical FOV (VFOV) rather than its horizontal FOV. The setting that says 90 FOV would actually be 106.26 FOV in another game on a 16:9 monitor. Thankfully, with a calculator such as the one used by mouse-sensitivity.com, we can find out the exact values we need.

Note that since Turok 2: Seeds of Evil uses VFOV instead of HFOV for its calculations, you don't need to worry about the aspect ratio of your monitor. The game will automatically adjust the HFOV since Turok 2 uses Hor+ for scaling.
Method 1: In-Game Console
Step 1: Hit the Tilde (~) key in-game.

Step 2: Type in "R_FOV" without quotes and your preferred VFOV value.

Step 3: Hit the Enter key.
Method 2: kexengine.cfg
Step 1: Locate the kexengine.cfg file.
It will be there in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Turok 2 - Seeds of Evil.

Step 2: Open the file in the text editor of your choice.

Step 3: Hit Ctrl+F and locate "R_FOV" without quotes.

Step 4: Replace the value with your preferred VFOV value.

Step 5: Save the config.cfg file and close out of your text editor program.
90 FOV
r_fov 73.74

seta r_fov "73.74"
100 FOV
r_fov 83.58

seta r_fov "83.58"
110 FOV
r_fov 93.93

seta r_fov "93.93"
Conclusion
Thank you for reading this guide. I hope it helps you finally find the right FOV for Turok 2. I'd like to give credit to the hard working people at mouse-sensitivity.com and Neale Davidson for his custom Turok font[www.thealmightyguru.com] used in the thumbnail.

A Turok 1 FOV guide is also available here. Note that this guide also works with the original PC version of Turok 2 using the "set fov x" console command, as that game also uses the VFOV value for scaling.

You're asking the wrong guy, Melkor. My programming experience is limited to adding &fmt=18 to the ends of youtube video urls.
