guide to defeating the Wall Of Flesh (This was made before 1.3)

ever wanted to kill the wall of flesh and unlock hardcore mode and die even more than you usually do in terraria?

if anyone would like for me to make other guides for new bosses, updates, or mods in the near future then plz rate & let me know in the comments :3

Step 1. the wof

the wall of flesh is the final boss in terraria regular mode, it has 8000 max life, and does 50 melee damage. The Wall has small mouths called the hungry, each attached by a long vein, which move towards and damage players. The tongue grabs players who wind up behind the Wall due to having stood still long enough for the Wall to pass them.

Step 2. finding the wof

The wof can be found in the underworld...basicly terraria hell.to summon the wall of flesh you first need to obtain a voodoo doll witch are dropped by voodoo demons, but be ready if you kill a voodoo demon and the doll falls into the lava the wall of flesh will summon!
(to summon the wall of flesh yourself just kill the demon over land, and throw it into the lava)

Step 3. preparing for the wof

to prepare for the wall of flesh heres a list of things you will want to have

1. 5-10 gravity potions (Alchemy Station)
Blinkroot
Bottled Water
Deathweed
Feather
Fireblossom
-----------------------------------------------
2. some rocket boots (goblin tinkerer)
gold coins
-----------------------------------------------
3. Hp & MP potions (merchant)
-----------------------------------------------
4. star cannon / any bow or repeater (crafting /anvil)

star cannon: 1 minishark, 20 meteorite bars, 5 fallen stars in an anvil
bow: 10 wood (other bows are available)

5. jester arrows / fallen stars

fallen stars: apear at night randomly
Jester arrows: apear in chests randomly scattered around the world

Step 4. the final step

Now you are ready to face the wof...aka thiat thing over there <----- , and now a 5 step guide on what to do next (you just love how short and simple this guide has been dont you)

Step 1. take your guide voodoo doll and throw it in the lava. (anger issues much)

Step 2. be ready, the wof has been summoned.

Step 3. drink your gravity potions and start 'surfing' as HERO calls it, surfing is when you drink a gravity potion and press your 'w' and 's' key to go up and down in one direction ( you might wanna practise before you fight the wall.

Step 4. take out your gun/bow and surf away from the wall while also using your rocket boots to fly away and shoot at the mouth of the wall

Step 5. continue step 4
