Astilla build 1 Forma and 3 Forma varients

These are two builds I have come up for the new Tenno shotgun the Astilla. The first will be a 1 Forma build focused on status, the second will be a 3 Forma build which actually is a crit build with some status. Both have been tested in game and both are devastating.

Status build (1 Forma)

This build is a status build focused on armor stripping, while providing decent CC. It's a pretty straight foward build and combined with the Astilla's AoE effect can be quite good with crowds. It is also quite devastaing as well. You will have no problem with the vast majority of enemies you come across, only when you get into enemies past level 100 will it start to slow down.

One thing I would like to bring up though is the cost of the mod Toxic Barrage. This mod is pretty rare, and therefore can be pretty expensive if you wish to trade for it. W/o Toxic Barrage the status chance will be just shy of 100%.

Crit/Status Hybrid (3 Forma)

This is my crit status build. This build utilizes the Astilla's decent crit stats while still taking advantage of it's great status chance. This build I found to be more effective than the 1 forma build by a notable margin. It is obviusly more exspensive than the previous build but is well worth it if you enjoy using this weapon.

I would personally discard the crit build and just use the Astilla only for status. Regarding stats, get rid of Blast damage and replace the gaps with Vigilante Armaments + Blaze. You'll get more than enough corrosive procs to remove 90%+ of even the toughest enemy armor (if they even survive the barrage). You can choose to sacrifice a little damage by replacing Contagious Spread or Charged Shell with a Shotgun Spazz, and you'll get a little extra DPS and even more proc spam at the cost of reduced ammo efficiency.
