how to install car mods + recommended mods

a guide on how to install car mods in Crash Time III and some mods i would recommend.

mod installer/manager (REQUIRED!)

you will need the program "AFC11Man" in order to install / remove car mods.
go to this website to dowload it: https://www.eleven-games.net/index.php?site=files&file=266

after you downloaded and unzipped the file, put the "AFC11Man.exe" file in your game's main folder, located in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Crash Time III"

where to download mods

there are sadly not a lot of mods available for this game, but these 2 websites contain most of the mods, however the websites are in german because crash time III is a german game.

the biggest site is "eleven-games", this link[www.eleven-games.net] will lead you there. on the webiste you can click on a car brand and then view what cars from that brand are available for dowload.













the other site, which is not as big is called "games.reveur", click this link[games.reveur.de] to go there. on this site all cars are not sorted by category, instead it is just one long list.

how to download / install mods

once you have found a car you would like to use, go to the page and click on "herunterladen" (eleven-games) or "download" (games.reveur)

i will now demonstrate it by dowloading the "Caddilac CTS-V" from "eleven.games"




press the "dowload"/"herunterladen" button to dowload it, afterwards put the .rar / .zip file somewhere you can easily find it, i used desktop.













then, just unzip/unrar the folder:

there should be a folder named "autos", and maybe a folder named "motoren2"

put the contents of the folder "autos" in Crash Time III's "autos" folder. (located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Crash Time III\Autos)

if you also want the custom engine sound (not all car mods have this) put the contents of the "motoren2" folder in Crash Time III's "motoren2" folder. (located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Crash Time III\Motoren2)




then, open the "AFC11Man" program, select the car you just dowloaded (in this case "Caddilac_CTS-V_09".

select the checkbox in front of the car's name to add it to your game. (you can also deselect a checkbox to remove that car from the game again.)

then click "apply changes" to add it to the game. then just close the mod manager.

how to play with modded cars

after you have installed the car, just open crash time III to play with it. modded cars can be used in "patrol" mode, "single race" mode and "split screen" mode. you sadly can't use modded vehicles in "career (cases)" mode. to use it, use the left/right arrow keys to switch between car types (police car, sports car etc.) until you are at the one that contains your car, this most of the time isn't one of the normal car classes, but for instance named after the mod's creator.

when playing in "single race" or "split screen" mode you can also repaint the car, in the same way you would do this with normal, non-modded cars.

however, not all modded cars are very detailed, some for instance can't be repainted, or others don't take visual damage. some are even more detailed as the normal cars, they could have added features such as first-person view.

recommended mods

these are 5 modded vehicles and 1 vehicle pack that i would recommend:

vehicle pack:

traffic pack
a pack which contains all of the vehicles which normally appear in-game as traffic to use yourself. (All trucks, trailers, cars, and cars with caravans; making for a total of 83 combinations). all of the vehicles have visual damage and parts falling off. most of the vehicles are repaintable. Update: as of 2023 this website no longer exists, thus the mod can't be downloaded anymore sadly.
Update 2: A user named "Karjola" found the mod's files on their old computer and uploaded them to mega.nz. The link above has been updated; the mod can be downloaded again!

panzer tiger
it's a tank! it has first-person view, but sadly it cannot actually shoot. (click here to download[www.eleven-games.net])

bugatti veyron
one of the fastest cars in real life, it has first-person view, damagable parts and it's repaintable. (click here to download[www.eleven-games.net])

the Fast & the Furious dodge charger
the modified dodge charger from the movie "the fast & the furious", it also has first-person view, damagable parts and it's repaintable. (click here to download[www.eleven-games.net])

Crash Time II "tribun"
the Tribun (also known as "prototype") from Crash Time II converted to crash time III. it can be repainted and it has damagable parts. it is very fast, the top speed is 600 KM/H (approx.372 MPH). (click here to download[www.eleven-games.net])

Crash Time III drone
the remote controller car with a bomb which is used in several story missions. with this mod you can also use it outside of these missions, in freeroam or races. it is actually small enough to drive under most cars, but sadly it can't explode like it does in missions. it is paintable and has damagable parts. Ran into another problem, i downloaded some vehicles and a vehicle pack that are .7z files that go to the notepad when i open them. I extracted those files to the Autos folder in crash time 3 bu they dont show up ingame.

Everybody, I have great news. I remember playing with that traffic pack mod myself many years ago and was sad to see it be seemingly lost. However, as I'm writing this, I have found it on my old laptop, downloaded way back in 2016.
