Editor's Notes
This walkthrough comes from the English-translated walkthrough PDF (credits in the description). I’ve basically just gone through and edited it so that it’s in line with the remastered version of the game.

General changes:
  • Names/titles updated from original translation
  • Minor corrections in areas of the walkthrough that seem to have changed between versions
  • Cleanup and clarification
  • New maps
  • Reformatting for Steam

The edits I’ve made are based on my own experience following the walkthrough for Clara’s route, so I may have missed some things or may have had different experiences with some things. If you notice any mistakes or other issues, please let me know!

Thanks to Dio & Melusca for their corrections!
General Information
The Changeling scenario has some important differences in gameplay:
  • You will be unable to use almost all of the weapons, except for the scalpel, double-barrelled pistol, and Clara’s somewhat long range psychic attack. To use this attack, you must hold the crosshair on the target for the full length of the hand animation.
  • You will be able to cure the shrouded infected citizens in infected districts (and gain some reputation) in exchange for your own health. To do so, walk up close to the person and “attack” them with Clara's hand power.*
  • In the Changeling scenario, your reputation will be constantly falling. It takes exactly one and a half days for your reputation to fall from 100% to 0%. During sleep your reputation will not fall, so unlike in the other scenarios, it’s sometimes better to sleep instead of wandering around meaninglessly, searching the contents of garbage containers. Especially during the first few days, when there still aren’t many ways to restore your reputation.
  • Clara automatically has access to the maps of infected and abandoned districts—you don’t need to buy them.

*Clara's power works a bit differently in the story missions for the first day, but these rules should apply from the second day on. Her power only works on the walking, shrouded people and will not work on those who are lying on the ground in infected districts; it will merely kill them and give you negative reputation. Also make sure that you get close to the infected person you want to heal, because if you are too far away, you may kill them instead. You will gain a small amount of reputation and lose a small amount of health, and aggression from the infected person will end.
Day 1
You wake up in the cemetery. Traditionally, talk to the Masks near the lodge—they will explain in brief what the game is about. Look inside the lodge and talk to Grace. She will tell you to meet Alexander and explain where their house is located. Go to Alexander.

--Quest of the Day: “The Harbinger”--
Cure a person by the evening and prove that Clara is not a villain, but a wonder monger. It is not necessary to complete this quest of the day.

Go to the railroad station, where Burakh was attacked and where his victims are. There are bandits here now, and somewhat close (behind some boulders) you will find two people hiding—a man and the midget from the Haruspex scenario. Talk to the midget and ask him what he’s done. Use Clara’s psychic power on him—she will accidentally kill him instead of healing him. The man is impressed by the ability to take life from evil people and present life to good people, but others will not believe in it just like that—it is necessary to heal somebody in front of witnesses.

One on the victims of Burakh has crawled to Grace’s lodge. Head off there—it’s easiest to go down, cross the river, and then follow the railroad tracks. Grace is in her lodge. She’ll say that Burakh came and took the wounded to his hideout at the factories. Go to Burakh’s hideout. (The 4th factories building—the Machinery, the only one south of the railroad tracks.) Burakh is in his hideout. While he went out to get bandages, the wounded man ran away into the town. He was seen at the bank near Anna’s place.

Visit Verbae—it’s the mansion surrounded by shrubbery near Stamatin’s place. Anna has visitors—the wounded, the Bachelor and some NPCs. Cure the wounded person with your psychic power and talk to Dankovskiy. He’s ready to confirm the miraculous cure. Talk to Anna to get a new quest; “Those with the Freedom of Choice”. Return to Alexander to complete the quest of the day. He will give you another quest; “The Hooks (Truth Revealing Itself)”.

--Quest: “Those with the Freedom of Choice”—
Find out whose side the Haruspex is on, the Dualsouls or the thieves.

You will complete this while completing the next quest.

--Quest: “The Hooks (Truth Revealing Itself)”--
Make Georgiy talk with the help of one of Clara’s miraculous abilities.

To do so, you must call the man by his real name and tell him a secret fact from his life. Katerina will provide a secret about Georgiy; enter the mansion from the other side and talk to her. She will give you the list of your Bound and will suggest telling Georgiy that he didn’t like Simon and is not his twin brother.

Go to the Crucible, where Georgiy is. He will first send you to his daughter Maria so that she can decide whether to let you speak to Georgiy or not. She will give her approval. Go back and talk to Georgiy. Be sure to choose the correct dialogue option—Simon is Georgiy’s brother, though not a twin.

Go to the warehouses and talk to Notkin about the midget—even if you killed him, he doesn't know about it. Follow this conversation path and Notkin will give you the double-barrelled pistol, which also utilizes revolver ammo:
  • "Did you see a man [...]?" --> "Have you been crying [...]?" --> "Yes. [...]" --> "So he's fond of [...]?" --> He didn't need it himself?" --> "Notkin, my dear [...]" --> "Thank you, kind boy..."

Go talk to Grief. Return to Anna – no matter what you tell her, she has only one thing on her mind; everybody is following her and suspecting something.

--End of Day--
That’s it for day 1 quests. Since your reputation is constantly falling, go and kill some bandits at night.
Day 2
Today and for the next several days you will be receiving quests from Alexander and Katerina: Alexander is looking for the one at fault of the beginning of the plague, and Katerina wishes to turn some people to her faith of the Humble.

--Quest of the Day: “Spirit of the Restless Kin”--
Find out whether Aspity is at fault for the beginning of the plague. Given by Alexander. How to find: Talk to Alexander, or through Alexander’s letter.

To make someone talk you need to know a secret fact about him. Younger Vlad can help with the facts about Aspity. Vlad will tell that the Kin were provoked into a riot by Aspity. Go to Heavy Vlad; he will assure Clara that Aspity poses him no threat. Finally, go to Aspity—she will refuse to speak until you bring Burakh to her for a talk. Head to Burakh’s hideout at the Factories and invite him. Return to Aspity and listen to her confession—once again, be careful to choose the right reply in the dialogue (“you’re in love with Burakh”), or all your efforts will be in vain. She is not guilty in the beginning of the plague, but has done a lot of other evil…

Return to Alexander. If you claim that Aspity is guilty, you will raise your reputation by 10% and Aspity will become infected. If you say that she’s innocent, your reputation will decrease by 10%. I remind you that she is one of your Bound and will be useful in the end, so don’t go wasting her life just like that. That’s all for the task of the day.

--Quest: “Grace”--
Convince Grace to turn to the Humbles religion. Given by Katerina. How to find: talk to Katerina.

Just as Katerina tells you, Lara Ravel can tell you how to gain Grace’s trust, but it’s not necessary to talk to her. You need to bring Grace bread, milk, and a flower for the dead. (You should have been given a flower at the beginning of the game. If you’ve lost it, walk around the steppe for awhile. You’ll most likely find one sooner or later. Otherwise, you can sometimes buy one at Stamatin’s pub.) Bread and milk can be bought at the stores or taken from a monument in the park near the Crucible.

After collecting all three items, go to Grace’s lodge. You may strengthen her faith in the Humbles, or convince her it is wrong. Afterwards return to Katerina. You may tell her that you have convinced Grace to take the faith and raise your reputation by 10% or say that you made Grace change her mind and lose 10% reputation. It’s up to you, independent of what you actually did.

--Quest: “The Curative Substances”--
Confiscate Anna Angel’s medicine stock. Given by Younger Vlad. How to find: talk to Younger Vlad.

Go to Anna. You may take the medicine right away, but if you don’t, she will talk about Burakh being able to mix herbs into an analog of antibiotics, according to rumors. The details can be found out from the Herb Gatherers. Go and talk to the one near the cemetery (the others will chase Clara away). Go to Stamatin’s den, to which Burakh has sold his mixtures. Andrey will confirm that Burakh can make good mixtures and will offer to buy the mixtures in exchange for her silence.

You can still take the medicine from Anna (5 each of α and β tablets), or you can give Burakh in to Vlad. The reward is money (1000) and an increase of reputation by 10%. You can also say that Burakh cannot make good mixtures, and you’ll get less money (100). If you give Anna’s medicine to him, you’ll receive money (500), and if you decide to keep them and tell Vlad, you’ll get a 5% decrease of reputation.

--Quest: “The Living”--
Find Arphist, Lara’s friend, in the "House of the Living". Given by Lara. How to find: talk to Lara.

It’s a simple and short quest. Make sure you have a lockpick. If not, buy one from Grief, or exchange one with the girls. Go to the marked house, open it with the lock pick. The house is infected, so it’s best to take immune tablets and put extra clothes on. Once inside, go up the stairway. Arphist will be there—talk to him. Talk to the Bachelor on the first floor. He will be a bit surprised by how fast Clara can move; he has just seen her at Anna Angel’s. Return to Lara. Your reward is money (1500) or an increase of reputation (+5%), if you refuse to take it.

--End of Day--
If you are having problems with food, wait until tomorrow; the prices will drop.
Day 3
--Quest of the Day: “The Seeds of the Caravan”--
Find out whether Anna is at fault for the beginning of the plague. Given by Alexander. How to find: Alexander’s letter.

Go to Anna. She will say that she'll be frank with Clara if she’ll find out what Heavy Vlad is plotting against her—he's been blackmailing her anonymously. She recommends talking to his children. You can talk to Young Vlad, but it's unnecessary; he will become angry because he doesn't give a damn about Anna. But Kapella—also angry because of the slander—will become interested in the threatening letter’s contents and will suppose Khan being the sender. Return to Anna and inform her, then go to Alexander. As usual, you can give Anna in to Alexander and increase your reputation (+10%), or say she is innocent and decrease your reputation (-10%) and infect Anna.

--Quest: “Eva”--
Turn Eva to the Humbles religion. Given by Katerina. How to find: as usual, talk to Katerina.

Firstly, visit Yulia and find out what Eva treasures most. You may tell Yulia that she was wrong in her calculations, and you have come here for another reason (+30% reputation), but then you will not be able to finish the quest. By agreeing with Yulia, you will be told that Eva has been visiting the Cathedral a lot, but has been thinking only about Daniil recently. Go to Eva, and after the talk return to Katerina. If you convinced Eva, you will receive money (1000) and an increase of reputation by +10%. If you didn't, reputation will fall (-10%).

--Quest: “Who will Injure the Bachelor”--
Find out what the Bachelor and Rubin are doing. How to find: talk to Anna.

Go to Eva. Tell her either that you would like to give the Bachelor medicine or that Anna wants to squeal on him, and he must be warned. She will tell you that Rubin is somewhere in the warehouses. Go to Rubin. For not giving him out to the Kains, Rubin will offer two black vaccines. It's pointless to talk to Georgiy (- 30% reputation) or Maria (-10% reputation), but Victor will thank you with money (2000) or, if you refuse, +5% reputation.

--Quest: “Who will Sting the Haruspex”--
Find the Bachelor and the Haruspex in the infected district. Given by Capella. How to find: talk to Capella (you will visit her during the main quest.)

Go to the marked house. The Bachelor will inform you that he is looking for the Haruspex, who is hiding nearby. Also hiding somewhere nearby is Loafer, a small boy who testing out a schmowder. The boy is in the inside yard, standing in the straight arc connecting two buildings, located southeast of Sticky's house. Talk to him and take the schmowder.

The Haruspex is hiding in the house opposite to the place Loafer is standing at. In exchange for your silence, he will offer immune mixtures (+40% immunity/-1% health and +20% immunity/-8% health). If you give out the Haruspex's location to the Bachelor, he will give you money (2000) and neomycin. The quest will be considered complete at this point. You can visit Capella to inform her you have found the Bachelor. She will ask if the Bachelor decided to test the medicine himself. If you answer that you hope so, you get +5% reputation; if you say you don’t know, you get +2% reputation. If you reply he has forgotten about Loafer and begun looking for the Haruspex, you will get nothing.
Day 4
--Quest of the Day: “Robbers and Cutthroats”--
Alexander wants to know whether Grief is responsible for the beginning of the plague. How to find: talk to Alexander.

Grief is said to have ordered to have corpses thrown into the river. Go to Grief, and he will say he is not guilty and that Notkin can prove his innocence, though he doesn’t like him. Notkin will confirm Grief to be unconnected with the robberies and corpses, but… With this “but” return to Grief. Clara fails to enchant him, so he will ask her to do an errand in exchange for his honest answers. He wants her to steal from the real culprit, Braga, a bag which will prove his innocence.

Head to the warehouse marked on the map. There will be bandits standing around; you may sneak past them, but you will most likely have to kill at least one. “Heal” the last bandit with your hands (he will die) and enter the warehouse. Braga is standing inside. Talk to him and tell him you heard a noise from the corner. Watch a script scene of Braga going to the corner to check. He will realize you’ve tricked him and start running back towards you, followed by two rats which appeared out of nowhere in the corner. Braga is no tougher to kill than any other bandits, but his corpse won’t have any items, so it’s better to just quickly grab the bag and run out of the warehouse. (The door will be locked until you grab the bag.)

Bring the bag to Alexander and then return and talk to Grief. He says that he will answer honestly and asks that you skip your spell, but make sure you do it anyway. Listen to his story—he knew about the beginning of the plague, but kept quiet. You may tell Alexander that Grief is guilty (+10% reputation, Grief is infected) or innocent (-10% reputation). And remember what Katerina spoke with you about on the first day…

--Quest: “The Puppeteer”--

Katerina wants to know what position Mark holds, and asks you to tell him to prevent the Theatre from becoming a hospital. How to find: talk to Katerina.

Mark is not at the Theatre; at the entrance of the locked up theatre, Masks will be waiting for you. They will tell you that Mark is at the Crucible with Maria. (If you give them money to care for the sick (500 coins), you will get +10% reputation). You can also go to Maria directly, not visiting the Theatre.

If you tell Maria that you got the wrong door, you will decrease your reputation by -10%. If you quit the dialogue on the second iteration, saying that you hate her, you get -30% reputation. If you say that you have no right to be called saint, you will get an increase of reputation by +10%, but if you act rude afterwards you will get another -30% penalty to your reputation.

Talk with Mark. He will say that Katerina considers the Theater important because of the creature which lives there and visits her in her dreams. He will also tell you what to tell the Masks so that they’ll let you inside the Theatre. Go to the Theatre, talk to the masks, go inside and talk to the Rat Prophet; he will be standing on the stage. He will ask you to tell Katerina that Mark is hopeless, and tells Clara that her sister doesn’t exist. Go back to Katerina’s house. If you don’t mention the Rat Prophet, you will get a +5% increase of reputation. If you do, you will get +10%. At this point the quest is finished.

--Quest: “The Raid”--
Lara asks you to warn Burakh that he’s being hunted. How to find: Lara’s letter.

Go talk to Alexander—he will request your help to capture Burakh, by telling him that Rubin is waiting at his hideout. Burakh is in one of the houses in the factories district. To be exact, in the easternmost of the three houses closest to the factories. Look for him on the first floor. If you do warn him, then return to Lara for your reward (etorphine and 2 pieces of jerky). If you lie to him, go to Alexander for your reward (5000 coins, +10% reputation). You may talk to Lara afterwards, but it won’t change anything. That’s it for day four.
Day 5
On this day, the usual dialog with Maria’s second reply will result in a 5% decrease of reputation, so if you’re short on reputation loss—come on in. Besides that, on the fifth day, Clara—just like Burakh—will be able to participate in the rat races. And if in Burakh’s case you got little profit from them, mostly because of your inventory being constantly full of other useful items, Clara will be able to make quite a buck on the varmints caught.

--Quest of the Day “Rubin's Communion”--
Find out whether Rubin is at fault for the beginning of the plague. Given by Alexander.

Go talk to Younger Vlad—he will ask you not to give Rubin in to the Kains yet, and will suggest that you feed him so that he will talk to you. You need to bring Rubin three fresh meat and three bottles of twyrine. Meat can be found in shops, bartered from patrol guards, and is lying around in houses. Twyrine can be bought at Stamatin’s pub or from Grief. With the food, go to Rubin and offer it to him. He will tell you he has been making vaccines from Simon’s blood and that people whose blood is also different exist. He will agree to answer other questions only if Clara convinces Georgiy to forgive him.

Go talk to Georgiy – he will agree to forgive him. Return to Rubin’s projectory – he has already said almost everything, except for some information about shebnack, and about him not being able to return Simon but having been able to uncover the secret of his blood. Go to Alexander. In this case your reputation will increase by +10% no matter what, because Alexander decided to leave him alone. Tomorrow, you will be visiting Yulia.

--Quest: “The Twins”--
Convince the Stamatin brothers, the most dedicated utopists, to join the Humbles religion. Given by Katerina. How to find: Katerina’s letter.

You should begin by talking to Peter (Andrey is not in the pub now anyway). Peter’s mind is dim from twyrine (he will give you a bottle), and will not decide anything without his brother. Go to the pub and talk to the man standing where Andrey usually is, behind the partition. He’ll say that Alexander has begun to make mass arrests and so Andrey ran away from the pub.

Go to Alexander and ask him not to trouble Andrey for awhile, then return to the pub and talk to Andrey. He will become angry no matter what you say and refuse to take the Humbles’ faith. Go and talk to Peter; he understands everything, but won’t take the Humbles’ faith either. You can lie to him, but he won’t take the faith seriously. If you honestly tell him that his brother refused you, he will give you a bottle of twyrine. Return to Katerina with the sad news; she will become angry with you and you will lose -2% reputation.

--Quest: “Best friend”--
Meet the albino behind the cemetery, at Raga burrow. Given by Grace. How to find: Grace’s letter in the afternoon.

Head for Raga Burrow in the evening. Four marauders will be waiting for you there—it’s about the only case when you can fight them in hand to hand combat and win. In case you have nothing to kill the marauders with and can’t use your hands accurately, don’t worry. You can attempt to run past them, or try to make them all follow you in a line; run a couple of laps around the burrow, until you are able to talk to the Albino. After the talk just run to the cemetery and enter the lodge. When you exit, they will be gone. If you kill them, pick up the valuables from their corpses. The amount will vary, but the following items can be found: beads, bronze bracelet, silver ring, gold ring. Sometimes you can even get 6 golden rings – the owner must have been a DJ ☺.

At 21:00, the Albino will appear from the mist and head for the top of the burrow. That’s where you’ll find him, if you come a little later. The talk with him to complete the quest. He will tell you many interesting facts and will warn you to prepare for the sixth day. If you want to find out more, then don’t select the last reply (“Of course, I know. I am Clara – a thief…”) at the beginning of the dialogue.

--Quest: “The Cathedral”--
Capella wants you to find out if everything’s all right in the Cathedral. How to find: Capella’s letter in the evening.

Just as Capella requested, visit Maria to find out whether she has seen a similar dream. Maria will answer that she hasn’t slept, but if you need to get inside the Cathedral, you should talk to the Bachelor. If you say that you are scared to go to the Cathedral, you will be given money (4000). Pay Dankovsky a visit at EvA’s mansion. He will not give you the key; he doesn’t have it and isn’t allowed to visit the Cathedral for no reason himself.

Talk to the guards outside the Cathedral; they are asking for 20 bottles of water. Well… collect the bottles. If there aren’t enough in garbage containers, look inside the shops. The bottles from garbage should be enough. Try searching at places you usually don’t visit, so as not to waste precious time. Lots can be found around the Theater, at the factories, close to the Town Council and a bit to the east from it, not far from the crypts in the Stone Yard near the Cathedral.

When you have enough, give them to the guard. Clara will trick them, and you can now enter the Cathedral. Everyone is healthy inside. Return to Capella. If you first tell that Maria nearly killed you, and then that any reward is all right, you will receive 4000 coins. In case you ask Capella to put in a word for you, you’ll get +10% reputation. If you say that it wasn’t all that bad at Maria’s, you will get money (5000) and +2% reputation. That’s all for today’s quests.

--End of Day--
On the sixth day prices will be a bit higher and your reputation will fall rapidly, so if you are having trouble with food and medicine—better buy them beforehand today.
Day 6
On this day, your sister will be talking to you in your sleep. Sleep on the 6th day for at least 4 hours (you may sleep several times, it’s the sum that counts), and a new note will appear among your letters and a new task will be given. That’s how a new line of quests begins—the search for your sister. If you don’t chase your sister away each day, the district where the people ready to give your sister shelter are will be infected until the end of the game. All the people (a group a day) are standing outside in different places, hard to notice.

On the 6th day you will have trouble with reputation; reputation will be dropping two times faster than on other days (i.e. 100% in 18 hours). After taking the quest of the day from Alexander, reputation will be dropping 3 times faster (i.e. 100% in 6 hours). After the talk with Yulia, reputation will fall 4 more times faster (100% in 1.5 hours).

--Quest of the Day: “Angel of Death”--
Find the one responsible for the beginning of the plague and for the events in the Cathedral. Given by Alexander. It’s the last task of the day given by him. How to find: Alexander’s letter. NOTE: Do this quest last, or you will not be able to complete the other quests for the day.

Yulia is the main suspect; Eva has the hooks to make her talk, but Yulia will tell everything by herself, so it’s not necessary to talk to Eva. She says that she herself gave Clara the items later found in the Cathedral, but Clara is not the one who received them from her. You need to find the Bachelor so that he, taking a look at your blood, will be convinced of Clara’s innocence. The Bachelor is checking the blood of all suspicious women.

If you come to Eva, she will take away all your items except for weapons and medicine*, and let you go—you will get your inventory back when you are brought to her house by the Bachelor. Also, your reputation will drop 4 times slower after the talk, i.e. like after the talk with Alexander—100% in 6 hours.

Until 14:00, the Bachelor will be at Anna’s mansion.
From 14:00 to 16:00, at Lara Ravel’s place.
From 16:00 to 18:00, at Aspity’s house.
After 18:00, the Bachelor will be at Eva’s.

After you talk to him, you will find yourself on the second floor of the Stillwater, and you will get your inventory back*. Your quest will be completed, though you won’t be able to leave the house until morning. The reputation drop rate will return to the usual 100% in 36 hours – not that it matters much, since you can only sleep in the locked up house…

*Guide says this, but nothing in my inventory seems to have been touched.

--Quest: “Charon”--
Turn Younger Vlad to the Humbles’ religion. Given by Katerina. It’s the last secondary quest of that sort given by her.

You should first visit Capella. She will give you a hint about your sister’s location (in the Leaves district) and will ask you to give her brother, Vlad, a book of fairy tales. Go to Vlad; he will not take the book, and is almost ready to sacrifice himself, but there isn’t much use from it: if you remember, he locked up the Termitary, and now wants to give himself up to the Kin before the Inquisitor’s arrival. Return to Katerina. She will say that results don’t matter anymore. Tomorrow a governmental inquisitor will be coming to Town. The quest is completed.

--Quest: “Sister”--
Talk to the Albino. Given by Grace. How to find: Albino’s letter, or talk to Grace.

After the talk with Grace, head for the burrow; arsonists have appeared around it. They’re easy to get around, if you don’t feel like fighting. At 21:00, the Albino will appear behind the burrow near the meat transportation aggregate. Talk to him. The quest is completed.

--Quest: “Little Sister”--
Drive your sister away and make sure she will have a hard time finding shelter. Quest appears by itself. How to find: sleep for 4 hours. You may sleep several times, but the total time must add up to 4 hours, if you are so busy that don’t even have time for sleep.

General information on the repeating quest:
  • Klara is hiding inside a house, and there are tips in the letter on how to find her.
  • She is not standing near the entrance, but usually stands in quite a noticeable place, so it’s useless looking behind closets and such.
  • If you drive her away, a group of people appears with the Albino in another area, ready to give shelter to Clara the Imposter. They will be standing in a hard to notice courtyard, usually far away from where the Changeling was.
  • You have to reasonably drive them away—do not pretend to be the “bad” Clara; they are waiting for her only because they don’t believe the plague follows her.
  • If you don’t drive Clara away, she will leave by herself anyway, the disease will be gone too, but the district where people waiting for her are will be infected for the rest of the game. Starting from day 8 you will be able to let Clara stay inside the house and then give her in to Haruspex (for Panacea) or to Bachelor (for money) with a 30% decrease of reputation.
  • Search small courtyards you usually don’t visit.
  • To receive the quest you must sleep for 4 hours in total since the last quest was given.

On this day, your sister will be on the second floor of the house near the entrance into the garden behind the Cathedral in the Leaves district, just as Capella hinted. Talk to her to chase her away. Now you need to find the people devoted to her and tell them to leave. Don’t be afraid to show them a miracle, but you shouldn’t curse them either—you have to prove to people that you are the real one. The people will be standing behind the food store opposite to the Termitary, near the border of the Damp District.
Day 7
The Inquisitor, Aglaya Lilich, arrives in town on this day. She will be in the Cathedral. After sleeping, talk to Dankovsky—he will tell you to go to the Inquisitor and will give you 1000 coins. The reputation dropping speed is the same as usual today (100% in 36 hours). Before receiving the task you have to get inside the Cathedral, and for that, you will need to find an Executor’s costume. Talk to the Masks in front of the Cathedral, and then go to the hole near the cemetery marked on the map and take the coat and mask from the corpse. When Aglaya is finished with the Kains interrogation (at noon), put the clothes on and go inside.

--Quest of the Day: “Vengeance”--
Make Alexander confess in everything. Given by Aglaya in the Cathedral. How to find: talk to Bachelor in the morning, then talk to Aglaya after noon.

Go to Alexander. He will tell you that he first wants to know why the Bachelor and Aglaya came to this Town. Talk to Dankovsky in the theater. He will first ask you to give a weapon to the Worm near the Stone Yard, so he can take revenge on the Haruspex for the death of the twyrine bride; this will give you a new quest: “The Haruspex will Sow a Seed of Malice”. Talk to him again and you may ask him about his purpose in exchange for the mask of the outcast. He recommends talking to Burakh to learn about Aglaya. Go to the short block of the Termitary. Burakh will ask you to bring medicine to a family that was hurt because of the Bachelor’s actions; this will give you a new quest: “The Bachelor will Sow a Seed of Malice”. If you talk to him again and give him the Executor’s coat, he will tell you about Aglaya.

After these two talks you can return to Alexander, and then, following his request, talk to Katerina: she will ask you to inform Maria that she is abdicating from the throne of the Mistress. Maria will advise to talk to Capella to make sure… Afterwards return to Katerina and head to the Cathedral. You may claim the Saburovs are guilty (-50% reputation, Saburovs get infected) or say they are innocent, just like they asked you (+50% reputation).

--Quest: “The Haruspex will Sow a Seed of Malice”--
Bring a weapon (shotgun) to the Worm south of the Stone yard. Given by the Bachelor. How to find: talk to the Bachelor in the theater (you will visit him during the main quest)

Go and hand the weapon to the Worm, and he will give you 10 stems of white whip. Return to the Bachelor, and he will offer you money. If you refuse to take the money, you will get +5% reputation. Otherwise, 5000 coins.

--Quest: “The Bachelor will Sow a Seed of Malice”--
Bring bottles of twyrine to the family hurt by the Bachelor’s actions. Given by the Haruspex. How to find: Talk to the Haruspex in the short block of the Termitary (you will visit him during the main quest.)

Go to Haruspex's hideout in the factories. You may keep the twyrine for yourself and tell the family about the Haruspex (-5% reputation)… If you give the bottles, you may return to the Haruspex and receive money (2000). If you tell him “You are the evil spirit” you get nothing, but the quest will still be completed.

--Quest: “Little Sister”--
Drive your sister and the people waiting for her away. How to find: sleep for at least 4 hours since the completion of the previous day’s sister quest.

Your sister will be in the eastern entrance of the house west of Younger Vlad’s house, opposite to the stairway to the sky. Search the living room of the second floor. Her devoted people will be
in Earth, in the empty round courtyard south of the wasteland of the bone pillar and north of the boilers. You, most likely, haven’t been there before or went there once, for this yard is totally useless.

--End of Day--
You may inform Aglaya about the cleaning of Leaves district on the sixth day, and receive 2000-3000 coins.
Day 8
From this day on, you’ll start recieving quests from the Inquisitor and Maria to search for the Haruspex and the Bachelor respectively. You may visit Aglaya and inform her that the Kidney is clean to receive a reward; 2000-3000 money and 5 β-tablets. If you choose the reply “Undoubtfully” in the dialogue you’ll get a 30% increase of reputation as well.

--Quest of the Day: “The Town; Its Entrails”--
Use your abilities on the Foreman of the Abattoir. Given by Aglaya. How to find: there will be a hint in Aglaya’s letter.

Quite a simple task – you won’t even have to walk around a lot. You have to get inside the Abattoir first. Go to the long block of the Termitary, go up to the third floor and enter Taya’s room. Little Taya, the commandant Tychik’s daughter, will agree to let you inside the Abattoir, if you tell her a fairy tale – but she needs a good storyteller. Go to Sticky, talk to him, and then come back and choose the third reply in the dialogue; i.e. tell the tale about “how a one-eyed, one-legged, one-armed Daughter of the Night counted her herds.”

After you’ve told your story, enter the Abattoir through the main entrance. The Foreman is interested in Burakh and wants to know Aspity’s opinion of him. Go to Aspity and ask her whether he is who he claims to be. Return to the Foreman, and after talking to him, go to Aglaya. The quest is complete.

--Quest: “Tracking Down the Bachelor”--
Find the Bachelor in the locked up district and warn him of danger. How to find: Maria’s letter. (This quest is connected to the next quest, “Tracking Down the Haruspex”)

The Bachelor will be in the house right to the east of the Town Council, in the second floor kitchen. His guard consists of a patrol guard and two young men. If you complete the task like you were asked to (instantly +5% reputation), return to Maria and receive feromicine and 2000-3000 coins.

You may instead tell the Bachelor to stay there and then tell the Haruspex where he is. You will receive 5 β-tablets and -5% reputation. This will end the quest.

If in “Tracking Down the Haruspex” you told the Haruspex to stay where he is, you will have the option to tell the Bachelor where is he is. If you do, you’ll be rewarded with 3000-4000 money and -5% reputation. This will end the “Tracking Down the Haruspex” quest.

--Quest: “Tracking Down the Haruspex”--
Find the Haruspex and warn him of danger. How to find: Aglaja’s letter. (This quest is connected to the last quest, “Tracking Down the Bachelor.”)

You will find Burakh in the right of the “doubled” houses south-east from Spichka’s house. Loafer stood south of the arc connecting them on the 3rd day. His guard consists of a butcher and two worms. You may kill them or try to sneak by. If you complete the task like you were asked to (instant +5% reputation), return to Aglaya. If you accept her reward, you will receive 1000 money and monomicine, and +5% reputation. If you say you don’t need anything, you’ll get only the reputation.

You may instead tell the Haruspex to stay there and then tell the Bachelor where he is. You will receive 3000-4000 money and -5% reputation. This will end this quest.

If in “Tracking Down the Bachelor” you told the Bachelor to stay where he is, you will have the option to tell the Haruspex where he is. If you do, you’ll be rewarded with 5 β-tablets and -5% reputation. This will end the “Tracking Down the Bachelor” quest.

--Quest: “Little Sister”--
Drive your sister and the people waiting for her away. How to find: sleep for at least 4 hours since the completion of the previous day’s sister quest.

The Suok circle mentioned in the letter, is, of course, the fighting ring near the Abattoir. Your sister will be waiting in the southmost of the three 3-story buildings opposite the circle, in the room on the right side of the first floor, furthest from the entrance room. The people waiting for her are in the Saddle district this time, behind the west side of Lara Ravel’s house. They are really hard to notice, though, since you usually don’t look that way.

Starting from this day, you can tell your sister to stay in the house and then give her in to the Haruspicus or the Bachelor. The Bachelor will give you 4000-5000 money, and the Haruspicus
will give you a panacea, however, your reputation will fall severely if you choose to do this (-30%).

--End of Day--
That’s all for today. If your reputation is poor, or you’re badly infected, it’s about time to think about doing something about it, because tomorrow the army will be coming to town. The soldiers won’t attack unless you’re at least 1/3 infected, but they are standing at all the places you’ll usually walk through...
Day 9
On this day army clothes and carbine ammo (you won’t need it) appear in the clothing shops.

You may inform the Inquisitor that the Damp District is clean for a reward (3000-4000 money, 5 β-tablets, 1 γ-tablet and +30% reputation).

--Quest of the Day: “The Town; Its Head”--
Get inside the Polyhedron. Given by Aglaya in the Cathedral. How to find: Inquisitor’s letter.

Just as Aglaja says, you should start with Georgiy. Georgiy is willing to talk, but first he wants you to find Rubin and find out what happened to Simon’s blood. After the talk with Georgiy, you will receive 5 β-tablets, 6 revolver ammo, and a repellant cape.

Head for the Termitary, to the short block. On arrival you’ll find out Rubin is gone. On the first floor you will meet Dankovsky, and on the highest, Burakh. You don’t need to talk to Dankovsky, but you do need to talk to Burakh. Once you’ve done this, return to Georgiy. You won’t be able to find Rubin today, but Georgiy will hear you out and advise you to go talk to Victor, and ask him how to get into the Polyhedron. Go talk to Victor, then walk up to the top of the Polyhedron and go inside the entrance area to talk to Khan.

Khan will let you inside. Go down. When you step on the drawing at the bottom, you’ll find yourself in a familiar place. Once you talk to the children, go back up, exit the Polyhedron, and return to the Cathedral. Aglaya is negative about Clara completing her task, and banishes her from town. Go try to find shelter with Block at the Town Council. The talk with him completes the main quest.

--Quest: “Tracking Down the Haruspex”--
Find the Haruspex and warn him of danger. How to find: You will receive a letter 25 minutes after completing the main quest. (This quest is connected to the next quest, “Tracking Down the Bachelor.”)

Burakh will be in the west wing of the building west from the Clot, Olgimskiys’ residence. The Haruspex will, as usual, be guarded. He will be standing on the third floor in the furthest room. If you complete the task like you were asked, return to Aglaya and you will receive +5% reputation, 2000-3000 money, and monomicine.

You may instead tell the Haruspex to stay there and then tell the Bachelor where he is. You will receive 5 β-tablets and -5% reputation. This will end this quest.

--Quest: “Tracking Down the Bachelor”--
Find the Bachelor in the locked up district and warn him of danger. How to find: You will receive a letter 50 minutes after completing the main quest. (This quest is connected to the last quest, “Tracking Down the Haruspex.”)

Dankovsky is in the house directly east of the pub. His guards are the same as before. Dankovsky is on the second floor in the room before the one with a table and a shelf. If you complete the task as requested, go to Maria and you will receive morphine, neomicine, and 3000-4000 money.

--Quest: “Little Sister”--
Drive your sister and the people waiting for her away. How to find: sleep for at least 4 hours since the completion of the previous day’s Sister quest.

Your sister will be in the house south-west of the northern stairway to the sky in the Rib
district. There are two wide houses directly across the street south of the stairway; she will be in the left one. Search the east entrance on the first floor; she will be standing in a bedroom behind a curtain. If you need money or panacea, you can tell her to stay and go tell Dankovsky or Burakh where she is. (Don’t forget about the -30% reputation penalty.) The group of people and the albino can be found behind Isidor’s house.
Day 10
Talk to Aglaya to get a reward for a clean district; 4000-5000 money, 5 β-tablets, and +30% reputation.

In the morning a letter from Notkin will come. Go talk to him, and after that, head for the projectory, where the Bachelor is already waiting for you.

--Quest of the Day: “Simon”--
Find Rubin and ask what he has found out about Clara’s gift. Given by Dankovsky in Rubin’s projectory. How to find: Notkin’s letter.

From the talk with Dankovsky, you will learn that Rubin went to the Kains and has not been seen since then. Go to Maria, and after talking to her, head for the Town Council jail. The soldiers in front of the prison will tell you that you won’t be let in without Block’s permission. go next door and talk to Block. He’ll say he didn’t give the order to arrest Rubin and that he will be found elsewhere. However, of the ones who tried to capture Rubin, they were able to arrest one. Block will give the guards the order to let you through.

Enter the prison, but be prepared for it to be infected; there will still be clouds of infection around. In the last cell on the right, you will find the man you’re looking for. After talking to him, return to Block and ask him to release the man. Exit the building and talk to the man, who is now standing outside. He will tell you Rubin was taken to the factories block 3 basement. Head for the target building. Rubin is not there, but you will find Burakh, who was trying to free him. He will tell you Rubin was brought to the Theater or somewhere nearby it.

Walk around the Theater building into the inner yard to find the Rat Prophet standing near the tunnel entrance. Rubin is in the tunnels; there will be two young men inside acting as guards, so be prepared before you talk to the Rat Prophet. Once you talk to him, you will go into the tunnels. Kill the guards (+5% reputation each) or dodge them and then talk to Rubin. Rubin will tell Clara that she can use her adherents, who will agree to being sacrificed, to save the town. The quest is now complete.

--Quest: “Tracking Down the Bachelor”--
Find the Bachelor in the locked up district and warn him of danger. How to find: A letter will arrive within one hour of completing the main quest. (This quest is connected to the next quest, “Tracking Down the Haruspex”)

The Bachelor will be standing in the room furthest from the stairs on the third floor of the middle house north of the park. The guards are the same as before. If you complete the quest as asked, you will receive 4000-5000 money and 2 feromicine tablets from Maria.

As usual, you can give him in to the Haruspex for money and a decrease in reputation.

--Quest: “Tracking Down the Haruspex”--
Find the Haruspex and warn him of danger. How to find: A letter will arrive within one hour of completing the main quest. (This quest is connected to the last quest, “Tracking Down the Bachelor.”)

If you head east from Anna’s residence, you will soon see two pairs of arc-connected
3-story houses to the left around the entrance to the wasteland of the bone pillar. The Haruspicus is in the right house of the closest pair – on the third floor. If you complete the quest as asked, you will receive 4000-5000 coins, monomicine, and feromicine from Aglaya.

As usual, you may give him into the Bachelor for 5 β-tablets and -5% reputation.

--Quest: “Little Sister”--
Drive your sister and the people waiting for her away. How to find: sleep for at least 4 hours since the completion of the previous day’s Sister quest.

Your sister will be in the Tanners district in a two-storey house on the north side of the wasteland of the bone pillar. A soldier and a disinfectionist are standing right in front of that house. Her people are north of the park. As usual, you can give her in to the Bachelor or the Haruspex—there aren’t many ways to get panacea, so better go to the Haruspex. Your reputation will drop by -30%.
Day 11
Today you’ll be taking the main quest from Aglaya again. This is the last real day, so don’t worry about using up your money and resources. If you have time, hang around the Knots for a while and trade for schmowder with the small girls if you can. The quest of the day is rather long, and requires a lot of walking, so you should take it on as early as possible.

--Quest of the Day: “The Bound”--
Give the Bachelor the envelope and then prepare your decision. How to find: the Authorities letter.

After hearing out the Inquisitor’s request, head to the Town Council. The Bachelor is not with Block, but he will inform you that Dankovsky is going to “the weapon” (the large cannon near the railway) to save Andrey Stamatin. There are soldiers in the pub, and Stamatin himself is missing.

Head for the weapon, which has been captured by the rebels. In the rocks near the carbine storage wagon you will find a group of soldiers. After talking to them you will learn that their officer was wounded. Heal him with your hands and watch the script scene of the attack on the rebels. (If you kill the officer, prepare for a -30% reputation penalty.) Afterwards, talk to the wounded officer.

It turned out that when they came, they made it just in time: the rebels canceled the execution and Andrey was able to escape with Dankovsky. Head to Peter’s house; Peter, Andrey, and Dankovsky will be there. Talk to each of them; Peter and Andrey will tell you about the Polyhedron, and Dankovsky will accept the envelope with the documents stripping him of his authority. Dankovsky will ask for a delay; he still needs to get rid of Burakh, who will bring Aglaya the key arguments for the destruction of the Polyhedron.

Burakh is now in his hideout at the factories. Go there, and you will find Burakh preparing for the last trial and his fight with Foreman Oyun. Your sister has already spoken with him, and he will be surprised to see you. Convince him not to fight, and to wait for the end of the day, so that you can settle the matter.

Head into the Abattoir and talk to Oyun. He will admit that he’s an unworthy hierophant and will agree to become the first one whose blood will be transmuted. After talking to Oyun, you will find Burakh in the previous hall of the Abattoir. Tell him about the decision (don’t tell him the town disgusts you) and return to the Cathedral; the Haruspex is now sure that Aglaya will listen to Clara’s decision.

He is mistaken. Having patiently listened to Clara’s decision, Aglaya scolds her and banishes her
from Town (again). Go talk to General Block. Unlike Aglaya, Block will accept Clara’s miracle. He has the weapons, but doesn’t want to use them, even if he has to sacrifice his career for the salvation of the town. What’s left is to talk to all your Adherents. The Foreman has already agreed, so you need to choose six of your other bound to sacrifice. As a reminder, your options are: Rubin, Grief, Yulia, Lara, Aspity, Anna, Katerina, and Alexander. Speak to the ones you choose to sacrifice, then return to Block. The quest is complete.

--Quest: “Tracking Down the Bachelor”--
Find the Bachelor in the locked up district and warn him of danger. How to find: Block’s letter. (This quest is connected to the next quest, “Tracking Down the Haruspex.”)

This time Maria won’t be the one to give this quest, because she fell asleep... and it seems the Bachelor went to the crypts to cry over her. You will find him in a 3-story building northeast of Maria’s mansion; if you leave Maria’s mansion and the fence around the Crucible, it’s the building first on the left. Enter on the further side (the side near the crypt). Everything’s as usual. Aglaya’s reward will be 4000-5000 money, feromicine, and a δ-tablet.

--Quest: “Tracking Down the Haruspex”--
Find the Haruspex and warn him of danger. How to find: Aglaya’s letter. (This quest is connected to the last quest, “Tracking Down the Bachelor.”)

The house you need is a three-storey house in the Factories district. From Aspity’s basement (south side), go around the long fence to the west, then immediately turn right. Follow this little road to the end, and the house will be on your left. After talking to him, go to Block and get your reward; 5000 money, and a δ-tablet.

--Quest: “Little Sister”--
Drive your sister and the people waiting for her away. How to find: sleep for at least 4 hours since the completion of the previous day’s sister quest.

Your sister will be at the small octagonal house in the middle of four larger houses in the Spine district; the house is directly outside the north-east corner of the Hearts district. Her people will be in the south-east corner of the Hearts, in the courtyard directly north of the park in the Muzzle. You can give sister in to the Bachelor (for 4000-5000 money) or to Haruspex for a panacea with a decrease of reputation, as usual.
Day 12
Since you’ve already finished the game with at least one of the other characters, it’s most likely that this day will not be anything new. But if you think that way, you will be somewhat wrong; while the other two scenarios were only slightly different, the Changeling scenario is noticeably different in dialogue contents at the end. But in general, everything is the same.

If all of your Adherents are healthy, you will be permitted inside the Cathedral for the meeting.

If any two groups of Adherents (yours/the Bachelor’s/the Haruspex’s) are healthy, you will be invited to the Polyhedron, into the secret room (which you’ve already been in once on this playthrough), if you haven’t missed any quests of the day.

If you save everyone’s adherents, you will also be invited into the theater.

If you were inside the Polyhedron but haven’t been at the theater, if you choose to leave everything as it is at the final meeting, there will be a script cut after the final outro. If you did visit the theater, the script scene will appear when you choose the character’s “right” decision. After you’ve made your choice at the meeting, go and sleep until midnight.

-------------
Congratulations! For better or for worse, you’ve completed the Changeling’s scenario.

All and all, the game was okay unfortunately the fact that it was turned into a walking simulation game made it unfun - the challenge wasn't even there it was just you walking back and forth doing fetch quests. I hated the fact I wasted so much time finishing this game only to find out the ending was mediocre and had no REAL meaning behind it other than a tongue in cheek we broke the forth wall aren't we clever thing going on between you and the masked plague doctors - It comes across as lazy and uninteresting, a rather bland experience overall: at first I thought this was interesting, until it turned into an unwelcome guest spraying profanities on the walls - game of the year this is not. Some may have enjoyed the story, but I didn't I felt robbed of a proper ending and what could had been a well made profound game.

The Kains were fanatics that had orchestrated their own beliefs: none of which is true (I think they literately were pretending so that they remained in power)

the Rat Prophet is a loose end that's just there to explain the unexplained I believe he is the real embodiment of the plague after all he is a rat!

Finally the twin was made up due to a lie the Changeling told the children made a twin from that lie and because she lied about being a miracle: she stole the ability to perform miracles... (worst-explanation-ever)

So basically the ending explains that her twin having fulfilled the miracle will disappear and as a consequence of the miracle: will not only take away her power but will spread fear, hate and all the bad stuff to wherever the twin goes.

I just want to say: the ending was the most disappointing thing to find out that it was the EXACT same as the others: the real reward is finding out the meaning behind all the characters motives:

The children who were just playing in the sandbox whilst mourning over a loss,

The Inquisitor who wants the tower to be destroyed because she wanted to spite those who were sentencing her to death (the kids)

The Foreman who killed Simon and apparently only did so because he failed to perform a rite,

Aspity who pretended she was a supernatural being because she wanted to know how it felt to be treated as such,

Anna who stockpiled the medicine out of fear of her own life constantly manipulating people so that she could take revenge on those that wronged her and ran away from the hunchback.

Mark was not involved in the plague: he was merely mimicking others to tell their stories maybe for fame or wealth who can really say?

Amazing how I found out about this after 90+ hours in the game!

Great guide. Just wanted to add that using Clara's powers to gain reputation works, but that the first day is extremely misleading about them. It doesn't work on sick people on the ground (those you can give painkillers to), but on the infected enemies (those guys in brown rags who can infect you). You need to be pretty close to them though, otherwise it will just turn into an attack and kill them. I don't have the exact numbers but it looks like it trades more or less 5% life for 5% reputation (and removes enemy aggro in the process).

@Marona - Glad it was helpful!

@Dio - Thanks for the help! I must have missed that particular combination when I was trying to get it. I've updated the guide section for Day 1 with this info.

I was able to get the pistol from Notkin on Day 1, it seems like you just have to follow a specific branch in the conversation. I missed it the first time myself, and reloaded till I found the right response path, which I'll type up abbreviated a bit below after the initial Notkin introduction

Did you see a man calling himself the ripper? > Have you been crying? > Yes. That's usually how it happens... > So he's fond of running murderous errands? > He didn't need it himself? > Notkin, my dear, give it to me. >Thank you, kind boy...
