Rusty Hearts: Beginner's Guide v:0.5 (WiP)

Simple guide for new players looking for some info before they start. Still a WiP, pm/comment if you would like to help me out :P

1. Introduction

Hello and welcome to my RH's Beginner guide! My Name is Paulo "Dragvon" Rodrigues and I'm here to teach you some of the basic to get started on Rusty Hearts!

2. Character List & Creation

The first thing to do in Rusty Hearts, is choosing a character to begin your adventure. You can choose between 4 initial characters:

• Frantz: A cold, half-vampire. Looking for his missing Amelia.
  
• Angela: A young and crazy witch appretice.
  
• Tude: A lone wanderer.
  
• Natasha: A famous and beautifull monster "hunter"

You can also create other characters using the "Avatar" function. Some of them include: Leila & Edgar (Free avatars), Roselle & Meilin (Cash shop avatars)


After creating your avatar you'll be prompted to try the prologue (Tutorial). Go ahead and try it!
You'll also be able to pick a character on the character selection list:



You may have noticed a " - weapon name" next to the character type. That indicates the weapon focus of that character. At level 10 you can try out new weapons and at level 20 choose a focus.

3. Quests & Dungeons

Some in-game elements in this section are shown by choosing "YES" in "Is this your first time playing Rusty Hearts?"


First Quest for Special Avatars. Forest Cabin Area.

Quests

After playing the prologue, you'll find yourself next to Elma (Regular characters) or the mysterious Girl (Special Avatars).
Use the X key (or right click) next to a NPC to interact with him. A pop-up will appear where you can pick quests, trade and chat. NPC's with quests for you will show a "(...)" icon over their heads. For completed quests, they will present a exclamation mark "(!)"

Some quests have different colors in the area map.

• Story Quests: Those quests will advance the storyline and may lead to cinematic events.
  
• Normal Quests: Regular quests that may give you items and gold.
  
• Repeatable Quests: Tasks for picking consumables and other usefull stuff.
  
• Random Quests: Usually "Wanted Board" quests. Those are hunting quests.

Delivering Quests

Some quests may ask you to pick one of the possible itens. Just highlight the one of your choice and click "Complete".

Extra: Armor types
Armor in Rusty Hearts are divided in 4 types:

• Plate: High Defense values. Best used by Frantz and his Avatars
  
• Fabric: High Magic Defense values. Best used by Angela and her Avatars
  
• Leather: Balanced resistance values. Best used by Tude and his Avatars
  
• Chain: Balanced resistance values. Best used by Natasha and her Avatars

Dungeons: Choosing a Dungeon

Move your character at the portals located in the town limits to bring up the dungeon selection screen. Here you can set a difficulty, check the enemies inside and pick a party side-quest.

You can also unlock new dungeons by meeting requirements, such as achieving a certain Rank in a lower difficulty or hitting a high level.

Dungeons: The Statistics screen & Card Rewards

On this screen you can see some stats from your dungeon run, such as time elapsed, number os hits taken, monsters defeated, style point and your overall ranking, ranging from F to SSS.



You can also pick a item card after completing a dungeon. All special cards may contain a Weapon/Armor, and their rarity is related to their card type:

• Bronze Card: Lowest Tier, "Magic" rarity.
  
• Silver Card: Mid Tier, "Rare" rarity.
  
• Gold Card: High Tier, "Unique" rarity

Any other card will give you gold.

Good start. Might want to mention up top that Edgar not only wears the same armor as Angela, but when you do things like the hair quest, you have to pick Angela's name to find Edgar's stuff. Leila I assume is similar. Also, when in doubt about where to go, head back to the dungeon menu. (For example, the "Meadow" isn't that big green space in front of the forest hut, it's one of the dungeon names.)

Very useful, but i would like to know how i can play in coop. I only played one time cos someone invited me...so, how can i invited by myself other player in my match???

Other Question is how i can sale things of my inventroy

If you want to make a guide, post something that can't be googled/searched on the internet.

1. What are the specific unique item drops on a specific highest difficulty of every dungeon?
2. Please post tips on how to level up fast.
3. Please post tips on how to make fast money.
4. Please make a detail combat guides on using AP Cencel and Just Guard.

This kind of guide will definitely help tonnes of players.

You can also sell Your items through AH:
You drag an item to the block. You can set Your own beginning bid value and buy-now value. Also, the time for the item to stay on AH (maximum of 48 hours). Please remember that selling an item through AH will take 15% of the total golds You would receive.
