Engine

• Torque - This changes how much the vehicle can pull (a trailer or the weight of the vehicle).
  
• IdleRPM - The RPM at which the engine spins at with no throttle.
  
• LimitRPM - The limit RPM that the engine can hit.
  
• PowerBandStart - Where the Engine starts generating a lot of torque.
  
• PowerBandEnd - The highest RPM it is safe to hit (IRL).
  
• RevLimiter - This makes the engine not go above the end of the powerband
  
• TurboCharged - Turbocharges the engine. Turbo lag but produces more power.
  
• SuperCharged - Supercharges the engine. Removes turbo lag but produces less power.
  
• Turbo Lag - This is not a value but it clears things up. Turbo lag is the delay of how long it takes to spool the turbocharger, superchargers do not have this.
  
• BackFire - Makes the exhaust pop and spit flames.
  
• DoNotStall - Only applies to manual transmission. This makes the engine not stall when the RPM goes to low.

Steering

• SteerSpeed - Changes how fast the front wheels turn.
  
• FastSteerConeFadeSpeed - How slow the wheels fade to FastSteer.
  
• FastSteerAngle - The angle of the wheels when going fast.

Suspension

• FrontSuspensionHeight - The height of the front of the vehicle.
  
• RearSuspensionHeight - The height of the rear of the vehicle.

Transmission

• DifferentialGear - Length of final gear.

Wheels

• BrakePower - How effective brakes are.
  
• PowerDistribution - Power given to a certain percentage front to back. -1.0 FWD 0.00 4WD something like 0.15 is AWD and 1.00 is RWD.
  
• Efficiency - The higher the more MPG, be careful though, as to high makes your car unrealistic.
  
• MaxTraction - The amount of tire grip. Don't go too high on this either, as it will give wheelies and too much sensitivity (and flipping) when steering.
  
• TractionBias - The bias of traction (I wouldn't mess with it).
  
• TireSmokeColor - Change the color of smoke when doing burnouts, drifting, or even spinning out.

Individual Gear Tuning

• You can find this under tools for the tool gun (right side of the menu when you hold q).
  
• The values for Reverse, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and so on change MPH as you change them. The higher value the longer the gear, meaning the gear will have a higher MPH. It is the opposite way in real life.

• Go into the editor (hold c right click the vehicle and click edit).
  
• Max out torque, rpm, powerband, effiency, and differential gear can go up a bit.
  
• Race!

How to Tune an AWD Drift Car

• Choose a car, any car you want.
  
• Put the Torque at 500+.
  
• Change the PowerDistribution to around 0.15.
  
• Lower it and stiffen the suspension.
  
• You can turbocharge or supercharge it or even keep it naturally aspirated.
  
• The max traction can be some around 45-60 depending on power, see what works for you.
  
• Now change the differential gear lower, this way you can have better drifting gears.
  
• If it spins out try lowering the torque or stiffen the suspension further.
  
• If it is still spinning change the traction.

How to Tune a Toyota Supra for Drag and Drift

I have figured out an ideal setup for drifting and being both quick and fast in a staight line.

Top speed: 227 MPH

All you have to do is change these:
MaxTorque=600
PowerBandEnd=7500
DifferentialGear=1.20
PowerDistribution=0.15
MaxTraction=45

Mostly For Looks:
RevLimiter=Enabled
BackFire=Enabled

Transmission Editor:
Amount Gears=6
Gear 1=0.050
Gear 2=0.100
Gear 3=0.150
Gear 4=0.200
Gear 5=0.250
Gear 6=0.300
Reverse=-0.040

That's it! Notes: If you launch in first gear be careful, AWD burnouts do work, this is a suggestion feel free to change whatever, and this is one of the most fun drift cars I have ever played with in Garry's Mod.

Tuning Per Gear Speed for Specific Vehicles.

Go to this website[www.automobile-catalog.com] and put all info in the left section. The "Name Including:" section you can put details like the following in: V8, GT, AWD, RWD, 6-Speed, etc. When you click search, and all of the proper information has been entered, there will be a list under it. In the list will see several different models, select the correct one and continue. It will bring you to a subpage with detailed information about the vehicle. For gearing, we're going to want the "Detailed Accelerations, Performance Review" section. Scroll about half way down and you'll find the section we are looking for, "Speed range."

You will see that in the section there are Roman Numerals from 1-10(I-X). From there, you will see that it goes to a certain MPH in each gear. In my case, 44MPH for first gear. Now, go into Garry's Mod and load your Simfphys car. Pull out the transmission editor or whatever it's called, and copy the current details of the car. Note the current speed of the gear you are trying to change and adjust accordingly. Changing the gear up makes the speed go up, down makes it go down. It is the exact opposite of real life. (As the same car with a 4.10 differential would have a slower top speed as opposed to a 3.88.)
