Description
THIS MOD INCLUDES A MORTHAL SPOILER

**Scroll down for instructions.**

This home takes the place of the home in Morthal that was burned down and left in ruins. After you've taken care of their 'little' problem, you get to have the property that was destroyed. Don't be silly, of course you rebuilt.

As much as I hate straw roofs in the coldest regions of the word, trying to put any other style house there just didn't look right. (Including the sheds, but hey, they work.)

The home is fully nav-meshed, but as this is base game only, if you want your companions and family to live with you, it'll take a mod that I don't use or know what it's called.

This is a one bedroom cottage. The bedroom is pretty spacious, but only comes with the one double bed.

What it does have;

*All crafting stations.
-wood chopping block outside to the left facing the house
-smelter, tanning rack, grinding stone, forge/anvil outside to the right facing the house
-alchemy, cooking and enchanting station inside on the main floor

*A shrine. It's Akatosh. I like dragons, what can I say.

*Lots of containers, none of which are set to respawn.

*1 mani-thing. He may or may not wander. I made him stop being naked and he went back where he belonged. Don't know if that will work for everyone though. He might just 'like' you.

*Bookcases. Not to be confused with Bookshelves. The Bookcases are regular containers.

*As with all my homes, you can teleport from the inside. (I no longer have long loading times but you can have that anyway.)

**If you load this mod before completing the Morthal quest, you'll never actually see the ruins. If you play on a machine that allows you to enter cheats, simply click the tilde key ( ~ ) to open the cheats and enter tcl. Close by pressing the tilde again. Walk through the house, the ghost will be waiting for you. Speak to her, then tilde again, tcl again to shut it off, and everything will work as normal after that. If you can't enter cheats on your game machine, do not load until after you've spoken to the ghost and left the area. (I know 'game machine' sounds vague, but I use a pc and it's the only game machine I own. I'm aware there are several other platforms for Skyrim but they don't pertain to me and I don't care enough to learn more about what they are or whether they can do tilde cheats.)**

As this is base game only, the imbuing station and staff making station are not included in this mod.

**Silly and annoying attention seeking spam will be deleted. I do appreciate feedback on my work though. Please respect the modders and don't leave spam in our comments sections.**

Is this mod going to be ported to Skyrim Special Edition.

I do that too. Sometimes I get bored with my own stuff and want to check out other modder homes. There is always something I'll end up changing just for myself. I don't know where I saw it before, some old architecture in history somewhere, would stick the bedroom in the basement. Though, now that I think about it, would have made better sense to put a cozy fireplace down there. The room is certainly big enough for one. My bad, maybe I'll slip one in some time.

This is great! Especially considering that it's in Morthal, it's underrated. Hjaalmarch has always been my favourite hold and Idgrod my jarl. Especially love the forge and the terrace.

I've made a minor edit for myself though like moved the bed upstairs and the crafting stations downstairs. :-) Morthal is a very cold place especially given I play with Frostfall etc., so the basement would be more useful for storage and probably too cold for sleeping, since even the fireplace is upstairs, but, well, depends who the character is I guess. :-) I mean,...that's just basic furniture, so guess it's not bad when you move in some house and decide to make some rearrangements.

Fantastic mod but followers won't enter or exit (if you teleport them inside with console) the house. That's a great pity.

Spouse and Followers are still waiting outside. Noticed there are no Sit markers on the nice snow dusted bench outside by the front door. Thought this tutorial might be of help... had a play with it in my own sandbox. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1m9bJMO2zw Was hard to re-apply the snow, so instead tried a commenter's hack of dropping a two seat FarmBench on top, lowered it almost flush with the upper bench surface, then set it to "IsMarker". Worked a charm! Hroggar sat down to wait next to me and tried to hold an actual conversation... not that he's one for talk. ;-)

Like the attention to detail. So many unique items. Small cabin is very nicely decorated while highly functional for a 'Lone Wolf'. Appreciated the peace when my whole posse and dogs were left outside. :-) Next on my list is to try it with "Spouses Can Live Everywhere" very soon.
