Dawnguard Swords

This is my second mod but my first publicised. I was always bugged by the fact that the dawnguard didn't have swords so i decided to fix that problem. The sword is slightly better than the dawnguard war axe but not op. the picture were taken with a level 4 character so the damage values for you should be different.

**Dawnguard Required**


I used the Dragonbone sword mesh and texture from Dawnguard DLC but downgraded the damage and added the proper enchantments.

If somebody could message me and tell me how to put these swords in the game that would be nice but for now you will have to open the console and find the data values by typing in

*help "Dawnguard Sword" 4*

or for the rune sword

*help "Dawnguard Rune Sword" 4*



I am working on a full Dawnguard Arsenal. This will include swords, daggars, maces, greatswords, battleaxes. these weapons will be the dragonbone weapon meshes and textures but with the dawnguard enchantments and to the correct damage tier.

Any feedback is great.

I personally see no reason for the Dawnguard to have swords. Just get Dawnbreaker. It's better than the Rune Weapons anyway.

dude take a sword in game then retexture it and make it boss

If you could somehow create a sword instead of renaming and weakening a dragonbone sword, I would be more likely to download this mod. Also, if you do somehow make it, I recommend using the dawnguard war axe texture for the blade. Just a couple ideas that I would take into deep consideration if I were you. I'd do it myself, but I am not a mod creator, just someone who enjoys good looking mods

please ask some one like insanity sorrow to make a custom texture for the sword because it sticks out like i sore thumb compared to the vanilla dawnguard textures and axes do more damage than swords but they are slower

12 base so it is just a little better than the dawnguard axe which is 11

I like the hilt and handle, but I like swords with smooth blades. I don't care for the rough jagged dragonbone edge or other swords that do the similar thing with the blade.
