Getting Started
Before you really take on this level, make sure you have an OICW, a Sniper Rifle and a Rocket Launcher. If not, get them from the previous level. if you're having trouble finding a Rocket Launcher in Dam, you can find one to the left of the level exit. The Sniper Rifle can be found on top of the hill with a radar on it near the final area in Dam.

You'll start out in a small room. Go near the door in front of you, then look left. You'll see another door. Go through it and you'll enter a room filled with ammo, armor and health. Stock up on what you need, then go back to the first room.
The Hallway
Make sure your OICW is set to shoot grenades (hit X) and make sure the grenade launcher is reloaded, then enter the doors. As soon as you enter, get behind a pillar (left or right; it doesn't matter). Soon, you'll see two soldiers appear. Take out your OICW, lean so that you can see them, and shoot grenades at them. Two grenades from the OICW will kill them.

Now the fun starts. As soon as you start shooting, enemies with shields will start pouring in from the other side of the hall. You can take these guys out by quickly leaning and firing your grenade launcher or Rocket Launcher before they can spot you. If you do this, they can't ge a lock on you and start shooting you. My reccomendation would be to use the Rocket Launcher to wipe out the enemies that are clustered together at the start, then use the OICW's grenade launcher to finish off any stragglers.
After wiping out most of the shield enemies, run to the next pillar (one that's near a hologram). The reason why you need to do this is because one of the soldiers that comes in has a Rocket Launcher of his own. Your back was against a wall with the pillar you were at previusly, which made you vulnerable to splash damage from his Rocket Launcher. At the pilalr you're at, you don't have a wall behind you, which makes it much easier to deal with him. Use either the OICW's grenade launcher or rifle to take him out like you did with the other enemies.

Finish off anyone that's left, then head across the hallway. Reload your OICW's grenade launcher, then open the door. After a cutscene, you'll end up fighting the final boss.
Final Boss
First off, use your OICW grenade launcher to kill the soldiers near the boss. Believe it or not, they're harder than he is. Try to stay hidden behind the desk because that makes it harder for them to track and find you. When they're toast, its time to take on the boss.

The actual boss is pretty easy. All you need to do is find some cover, then shoot his crotch with a rapid-fire weapon, like the P90 or OICW. it took me three or so OICW grenades and a single P90 magazine to kill him. However, note that he will try and toss a grenade at your or try and jump to your position if you stay somewhere too long. Either kill him quickly or move if you see something flying from him.
Getting Ammo and a Way to Make the Next Area Easier
When he's dead, a cutscene will play, then you'll be in an elevator. Use the elevator, and you'll go up. Exit it, then go forward and right. You'll find a huge armory filled with ammo of every weapon type. There's also some sniper rifle and sub machine gun ammo to the left of the shelf with grenades and assault rifle rounds. The Sniper Rifle ammo in particular will be very handy during the next sequence.

After getting what you need, go back to the room you were in, but take a left. Eventually, you'll find yourself in front of a large door. Open it, and you'll find another door. However, when you're opening the other door, the first one will close and can't be opened. in theory, this means you can't revisit the ammo room and stock up. However, there's a way around this. See below.

VERY USEFUL TRICK: Before you reach this door, push two or so chairs from the ammo room near it, then open it. While the door is open, push the chairs into it. When it tries to close, it'll hit the chairs and open back up. This lets you make trips back to the ammo room in case you need more ammo, health or simply need to calm your nerves while taking on the next room.
Trigens in the Volcano
This is probably one of the trickiest areas in the game. it's a large outdoors area with several powerful Trigen in it, including ones with Rocket Launchers and some with assault rifles that can jump very far. if you charge in, you're toast.

First, stay in the room that has the two doors in it. Now, look to the right of the door you just opened and you should see a corner before the keypad you used to unlock the door. Go there and go prone. Use your thermal vision and Sniper Rifle, and you should see one of the jumping Trigen just sitting around. Shoot him twice. Now, stand up, and you should see another of the jumpers. Kill him as well. Two jumping Trigen down, two to go.
When those two are down, slowly go to the opposite end of the room you're in until you can see another jumping Trigen. Take him out, then keep going until you see the last one.

If any of the jumping Trigen jump before you can kill them, use your night vision goggles to find them. It's thermal vision ability makes it simple to find where they're jumped to.
Now it's time to take down the Rocket Launcher Trigen. This is pretty easy because the AI is dumb. You see, while you were killing the jumping Trigen, all of the Rocket Launcher ones were trying to scale a cliff to the right of the entrance door to reach you. However, they can't make it up, so they just walk in place. They can't hit you with their Rocket Launcher either because they'll aim at a harmless wall, not as you. This makes it extremely easy to kill them.

From the corner you started sniping jumping Trigens at, move up and look to the right of the entrance to the area until you see bits of a Trigen. Shoot it until you see the Trigen fall over and die.

Do this for the rest of the Rocket Launcher Trigens. As long as you hear something like "He's dead." or "He's been shot" after one of them dies, there are still more in the area. Note that one or two of them may be on the pipes that are under the damaged walkway. If that's the case, walk towards the area to the left or right of the walkway until you can see a bit of them, then shoot them. Their Rocket Launchers should be harmless if you approach them like that.

When they're all dead, go down and start approaching the door on the other side. however, when you get close to it, two Rocket Launcher Trigen will appear! Yikes! Run back and get behind something (like a rock) while shooting at them and dodging their rockets.

Use your cover to quickly peek out and shoot them before they can lock onto you. If you see one of them trying to flank, run away to another rock or pillar while shooting. Use your rapid-fire weapons against them. You'll need the explosive ammo for the last fight.

When the Rocket Launcher Trigen are dead, go into the room they came out of. The right of the room has a small hall with a Medkit at the start of it and a switch at the end. use the switch, then go back outside.

From the area you just left, go left and find the leftmost pillar under the structure. When you get close to it, you'll find an elevator. if you did the door trick mentioned earlier, I'd recommend you go back to the ammo room and stock up on OICW grenades, hand grenades and rockets. If you didn't, you should still have more than enough explosives if you followed my guide.

When you're ready, activate the elevator, then ride it to the top. When you're on the top, of the machinery, head for the walkway that leads to the area on top of the Rocket Launcher Trigen room you just left. As soon as you get off the walkway, stop.
The Last Fight
This is the last fight, and it's pretty tricky. From the area you ended up at the previous seciton, you'll find some stairs to your left. Go up them, then lean near the stairs across from wh. You'll find a ton of soldiers packed together and on top of a staircase across from where you are. Quite a few of them have Rocket Launchers, so this is going to be real tricky.

What you need to do is use your OICW, hand grenades and Rocket Launcher to take out the enemies without them being able to see you. You can do this by either quickly leaning and firing your explosive weapon before they can see you (like what was suggested for the first room), or launching grenades so that they go over the wall and hit the enemies behind them. Make sure that you constantly keep pressure on them. If you need to reload, go near the walkway you got off of so they can't easily find you. If you do this, aim for the enemies on top of the tall walkway as soon as possible so that they can't shoot you when you're near the walkway while reloading.

Note that some enemies are behind the huge, upright and orange gas containers to the left of the big staircase. Lob a few grenades or rockets near them to clear out the enemies there.

This may take a few tries because of how even one rocket from a Rocket Launcher soldier can screw you over.

If you run out of explosives, use Flashbangs to stun enemies, then finish them off with the automatic weapon of your choice.

When you think you've killed all of the soldiers, slowly head up the small staircase and lean around corners to make sure everyone is dead, then check the orange gas containers mentioned earlier to see if anyone managed to survive your grenade bombardment.

When you're positive everyone is dead, grab some OICW grenades from the enemies you killed, reload your OICW grenade launcher, then head up the stairs. After going up them, take a left until you see a door.

Past the door is the last soldier (and enemy, for that matter) in the game, and he's a chump. All you need to do is take out your OICW in grenade launcher mode, and fire a few grenades at the end of the room. He should be dead after firing two or so grenades at him.

After killing the last soldier, you win! Congrats!

pretty good tutorial, but i got kreeger with 2 shotgun blasts to the balls. seems like i needed alot to take him down with any rapid fire weapon. really easy for a final boss...."im gonna shoot you in the face!"

Ya know, your guide is not very useful, because it seems like the developers improved the AI of Trigens with some patch or something like that.
