BEGINNER'S GUIDE (Extreme basics.)
Okay, welcome to PAYDAY 2™! In this game, you rob banks and ♥♥♥♥ for other contractors.
If you can read this all, go for it.
First of all, you will start with an AMCAR and a pistol, with no skill perks or skill perk decks.
Lets show you around, shall we?

THE MAIN MENU
There will be a few main things you'll click on the most.
Inventory
Enter Crime.net(?)
Offline
Steam Inventory
etc.
First, go into your Inventory. Get things sorted out the way you want, and we'll start from there.

PERKS
Perks are an extremely important asset for the game. Without any perks, you're basically useless, except if you reset your stats or some ♥♥♥♥ like that. Now, once you have things sorted, go do a few heists to level up. You will get Skill Points. Spend them wisely, however, as they can go away if you spend them all, but you can get them back.
Now, heres the basics of how it works.
Each skill is different, and almost none are the same, except for a few, maybe.
Aced versions are always better, or add up to the regular version.
Regular versions are just sort of bad, depending on which one you have.
If you bought the bundle, heres a few basic builds:
Grinder (search up on yt)
Dodge (search up on yt)
Armor (search up on yt)
-----
Once you have found a build you like, prepare to enter a battle with cops, this time, you're better prepared.

PERK DECKS
Woah woah, easy there fella! Some builds require PERK DECKS inorder to function. An example would be that Dodge requires Rogue, Grinder requires, obviouslly, grinder, and Armor requires Armorer. Max out these perk decks for maximum efficency.

STRATEGIES
There are two ways of how to do a heist.
Stealth requires you to not alert any guards and try to ninja your way through, on highest difficulties, its sort of easy.

Loud is just simply going loud, trying to get as much money as you can during police assault waves (explained later.) Its really simple, but on One down and other high difficulties, its hell even for experienced players.

Jesus christ, if you are new, don't be afraid to ask if you can stealth this or no. Just dont immediately say 'stealth?' in chat, or people will humiliate you due to your lack of knowledge on how the game works. Some heists cannot be stealthed, and few can be stealthed, before going loud after a while.
BEGINNERS GUIDE 2 (A few things.)
You will encounter different enemies, since you are new and you'll mostly only do low difficulties, heres a few enemies you may encounter.
This is a BLUE SWAT. They are the most basic enemies. They can be equipped with SMGS or shotguns. If you have Joker or Dominated/Dominator, try to dominate them, and they can sometimes surrender quickly. They have low HP, but they will stick together and can rain hell even on infamy 25 players.

This is a YELLOW SWAT. They are different from their blue counterparts, but they are tougher. They use CAR-4 Rifles, and are recommended that you dominate them due to their increased HP. They sometimes appear almost never, but you're bound to see them at least once, except for some high difficulties.

These are FBI units, yup, out of the frying pan, into the fire. These units are tougher than YELLOW SWATS and BLUE SWATS. They will appear on VERY HARD and above. These guys are tougher, and if you have a weak weapon, headshots can be hard. However, they still share the same weaknesses as others.

These are shields, they look hard to kill, but they are super easy to kill. Simply flank them, and they stop focusing on you. The FBI (located bellow the one that looks like a yellow swat holding a shield) literally has the same HP as the normal shield, and is no different. This kinda sucks. Explosive weapons, sniper rifles, and shotguns with AP slugs can take them out.

SNIPERS (NO IMAGE)
Snipers are hell, and they can instantly down players if you're not careful, and if you have little to no armor. Dodge may help for a while, and they are extremely weak. They will mostly appear on rooftops, and sometimes appear in unusual locations depending on the heist.

Now, onto a few more basics.

POLICE ASSAULT WAVES
Police assault waves happen during loud, and can be hell. They can last for a good 5 to 10 minutes, or even longer. When you are in custody, you cannot be traded during an assault wave. The assault wave MUST end if you want to get outta custody. Assault waves are hell, and they send in tons of SWAT into the battle. You may see a lot of special enemies , which will be explained in the Advanced sections.

HOSTAGES
Heres one thing, DO NOT. KILL. HOSTAGES. Killing hostages will instantly deduct money, even if you restart. The higher the difficulty, the more money you lose from killing hostages. If you kill hostages, it will take longer for bain to negotiate after assault waves. They can be a valuable asset, as you can trade them for team mates that are in custody.

ARMOR
There are a lot of armor types, the higher the armor stat is, the lower your speed is. The suit being the fastest, and Combined Improved Tactical Vest being the slowest. Stamina tells you how long you can run. Armor indicates how many hits you can take.

TEAM WORK!
Without team work, people will be un co-operative, and you need to co-operate with others. If they are more skilled, listen to them, you may regret it when they leave or when you kick them! If they mess up and you think you know what to do, correct them on it, but be polite, as if you aren't, they can leave. Team work is essential during assault waves as well, and completing objectives. So communicate with your team!
ADVANCED GUIDE
Now, heres where things get REAL complicated.
After a heist, you will get money. Some of that money goes into your offshore account, and some into spendable money. Of course, you SHOULD know that by now. And a lot goes into offshore. And its sort of useless when you are max level.

ENEMIES
You should be on other difficulties, so here are a few more enemies you should be aware of.

These are Maximum Force Responders. They are the closest you can get to Bulldozers, and can be hell to take care of. Their armor can survive anything, and they are strong. Dominate these guys if you need an extra hand. AP slugs, sniper rifles(?) explosives, dragon breath rounds, and fire can bypass their armor. There are also Gensec versions, which have more HP and use a JP36 Custom instead of a CAR4.

These are Gensec Elites. They carry JP36 Custom assault rifles, and they can be really hard to deal with. They have more health, and can be difficult to deal with in high difficulties. They appear in Mayhem+.

Ohh ♥♥♥♥, here comes ZEAL team. ZEAL team are elites that can be super hard to deal with. They ONLY appear on One Down, and are hell when they are grouped up. Their armor is tough, and when dominated are near useless because you're basically fighting a tough enemy that is probably weaker, unless you have the skill perks aced.

SPECIAL ENEMIES!
These are a few special enemies, going by how common they are.
You already read about this, moving on, if you didnt, shield guys with shields that are invincible. AP slugs can pierce it, so can sniper rifles. Use grenades and a few explosive throwables to destroy crowds of these.

TASER (NO IMAGE)
Tasers are hard to kill due to armor, and they look like normal YELLOW SWAT, however, they arent. Once they tase you, you're basically ♥♥♥♥♥♥ if you have no ammo left.

These are medics, they have lowest HP, even on One Down, and will heal other units. If a unit has a green glow over him, he is being healed. Kill the medic first before taking down other units. There are Russian medics, and Medic Dozers (crime spree.)

BULLDOZER (NO IMAGE)
Bulldozers are basically walking tanks with tons of HP. They have armor plates that can be knocked off with enough damage. Go for headshots if you want to deal the most damage, du'h. There are multiple variants, Olive (normal), Black, Skulldozer, and ZEAL. Zeal being the toughest, and the Skulldozer also being tough. Each one has different weapons.

CLOAKER (NO IMAGE)
Cloakers are hell, and they will do anything to kill you, such as going through walls and ♥♥♥♥. They cannot be stunned by fire, and you should use shotguns or any other strong weapon to kill them. They hide in corners, or come out of vents, so be careful! They also try to blend in with other SWATs, and then dropkick you. The ZEAL cloaker is more tougher.

Now, onto advanced ♥♥♥♥.
HITBOXES
You knew this was coming. Different enemies have different hitboxes. Keep this into mind. I don't even know why I included this.

AI
The AI can perform complex manuvers, such as how tasers can sidestep to prevent getting spotted by the player, and how cloakers can harry potter their way through walls, and SWAT team members dodging. They can even climb (INCLUDING BULLDOZERS, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.) and roll. The higher the threat of your weapon, the more likely they will dodge. They will mostly always stick together, and almost never go alone, you are bound to see at least two SWAT team members together. Sometimes, their AI is different, such as how Shields only focus on one player, instead of two, and how Cloakers have cooldowns for dropkicking and takedowns to prevent them from killing your entire team in a snap.

Extra Notes
Sometimes, they will deploy Gas, but that will only happen on the bank heists. When this happens, an area is blocked off with gas, which will not harm SWATs, and take off armor from players, before stripping health away. Also, threat does not mean your weapon will scare cops so you can dominate them better. I have tried this with a 0 threat weapon, and it doesnt do anything.
Conclusion
So, this is about all you need to know about the wonderful, possible pay to win game, Payday 2. I hope you enjoyed reading while also getting headaches due to how many words there are. Beg away for any other guides I should make next.
