Event Guide
By GB Patch
There are hundreds events to see in the XOXO Droplets, but a large amount of them don’t happen automatically. Often times events have to be activated by doing something specific. This Event Guide details how to get every event there is in the game.

Default Events
These are the events in XOXO Droplets that you can get simply by playing through the game, no additional steps are required.

Prologue Events-
There are 4 Prologue Events. The first 3 happen one after another as soon as you begin the game. The 4th occurs a little less than a week into the game.

Group Events-
There are 26 Group Events. All of them happen automatically on specific days.

*Extra Notes*
There are occasionally choices during Group Events. The choices don’t effect any of your Gameplay Stats, they’re simply for fun and change the conversation.

On January 27th the Group Event consists of a Type Game with 16 possible results. We’ve posted a walkthrough for that HERE[gb-patch.tumblr.com]!

During the birthday related meetings of Year 2 there are small alterations based on whether or not you have a boyfriend. If you do have a boyfriend the way the MC wishes him a happy birthday during his birthday meeting will be different and the way she responds to him wishing her a happy birthday during her birthday meeting will also be different.

Field Trip-
During July, Year 1 the whole school goes on a three day, two night field trip. The bulk of this event happens automatically, but there are a few extra scenes you can get. Those extra scenes are described under the Main Guy Event section.

Nothing Happened Lines-
These are one line events where the MC thinks something to herself. They occur when, for one reason or another, no other type of event or gameplay action took place that day. There are 50 in total.

Random Events-
Random Events are just that, events that happen randomly. They can possibly happen on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Random Events can feature Main Guys and Side Characters.

There are 30 Random Events in the free version and 80 Random Events in the complete version.

*Extra Notes*
Some the Random Events include a choice menu. You’re free to choose whatever option you want; it won’t have any effect on your Reputation or Affection. It’ll change what happens in the event though, so feel free to try all the options.

A few Random Events include Adrian and/or Kam, the only characters who aren’t automatically unlocked. If you want a chance to see those Random Events you’ll first have to meet those guys. You meet Adrian working part time on the weekend at the Accessory Store doing either Task. You meet Kam by amassing 500 Reputation Points overall.

Lucas Events-
Partway through October, Year 1 you’ll be invited to a party. If you don’t go the game with progress as normal. If you do go you’ll meet a new character; Lucas Kaiser. From then until January, Year 1 you’ll get bonus events relating to Lucas. After that he’s not mentioned again. That’s because Lucas is meant to be the third Side Boyfriend option, however the bulk of his content has yet to be added to the game. You’ll be able to pursue Lucas fully sometime in the future if you own the complete version and the complete version sells at least 1,000 copies.

Senior Prom-
Senior Prom is an automatic event that happens on May 29th. Though there are different versions you can get. The Main Guy and Side Boyfriend versions of prom are explained in the other sections of this Guide.

If you have no boyfriend or a clique boyfriend, the default version of Prom will occur.

Part-way through Prom the King and Queen of the dance will be announced. By default it’s Nate and Missy. If you have enough Reputation Points you can win the title instead. The scene that happens depends on who wins Prom Queen and whether or not you have a date. There’s a version when you win alone, lose alone, win with a Main Guy as your date, and lose with a Main Guy as your date. In the free version there are 8 events in total possible, and in the complete version there are 14 events possible.

Main Guy Events
These are events that have one main guy as the focal point.

First Sit-
The first time you sit with a Main Guy during lunch on Mondays you’ll get a very brief event with him. There’s only 1 per guy, 6 in total.

Accessory Comments-
Accessory Comments are events with a guy where he comments on an accessory the MC is wearing. The event will happen the first Monday you have the accessory on.

In the free version you can’t use the accessory system at all. In the complete version there are 15 Accessory Comments, one for each type of accessory. Some accessory types come in two colors, but there aren’t different events for each of the colors. Most of the Accessory Comments feature main guys, but three feature Side Boyfriends.

Field Trip-
If you have a Guy at the One Heart Affection Bar or higher on the first night of the trip you’ll see a bonus pajama event with him. The next morning you’ll get his Pajama Outfit Conversation. On night two you’ll get another bonus pajamas event if you have the guy at the Two Heart Affection Bar or higher, instead of just the One Heart Bar.

In the free version you can’t gain Affection with Bae, Jeremy, or Pran. So there are the 3 possible events for Everett, Nate, and Shiloh, meaning 9 in total. In the complete version there are 3 events for all six guys, so 18 in total.

*Extra Note*
If you have two guys with Affection high enough to meet the requirement, you’ll still only get the events for one guy. The game will go with whichever guy has more Affection Points.

Text Chats-
Text Chats are events where the MC and one of the Main Guys have a conversation through texts. To get one of these events you need to use your phone on a weekend and choose to spend the day texting the guy. You’ll get an event the first time you text, after texting him four more times, and repeat.

In the free version you can’t text Bae, Jeremy, or Pran at all. Everett, Nate, and Shiloh have 5 texts each, for a total of 15 Text Chats. In the complete version all six guys have 10 Text Chats, for 60 in total.

Work Conversations-
Work Conversations are events with a Main Guy while the two of you are working the same job. To see them you’ll need to work part-time on the weekend and choose Task 1 at whichever location you’d like to work at. The first time you work Task 1 at a location you’ll the get the first Work Conversation of the Main Guy who also works there.

If you’re playing the free version that’ll be it. There’s only 1 available for each Main Guy, 6 in total. If you’re playing the complete version of XOXO Droplets you’ll get another event after working there four more times, and then another after four more, and so on until you’ve seen 5 events. So, 5 per guy for a total of 30 Work Conversations.

Right to Date-
Right to Date events are phone conversations with a Main Guy that give you the right to ask him out on a date later on. To get one of these events you’ll need to gain 150 Affection Points with a Main Guy and then call him on a Saturday. You’ll be asked if you want to ‘spend’ 150 Affection Points for the right to start going on dates. Agree to spend the 150 Affection Points and you’ll get the event.

In the free version you can only date Everett, Nate, and Shiloh, so there are only 3 Right to Date events. in the complete version there’s 1 for all Main Guys, so 6 in total.

*Extra Note*
‘Spending’ Affection Points doesn’t mean the guy likes the MC less, it just means you'll have to get even closer than you already are if you want to continue getting events.

Date Conversations-
Date Conversations are the MC going out on a date with a Main Guy. To get a Date Conversation you first need to spend 150 Affection points to get the guy's Right to Date Conversation.

After you’ve done that you’ll need some more Affection Points and, in most cases, some money. Dates cost between 70-100 Affection Points and 0$ or 10$. Dates at school locations are free, anywhere else requires 10$. You must call to arrange a date on Saturday and set the date to happen the day after (Sunday).

In the free version you can only date Everett, Nate, and Shiloh. Each of those three guys have 16 dates, for a total of 48 dates. In the complete game you can date any of the six guys and each of them have 20 dates, for a total of 120 dates!

*Extra Notes*
Most date locations are locked initially. Check the full tutorial for a list on how each location is unlocked.

A few dates are only available if the guy is your boyfriend. If an option is grayed out that means you can’t get that event until you’re officially in a relationship with the guy.

Some date locations have no dates for that guy. He just refuses to go there. Other date locations have multiple Date Conversations. If there are two or three at one spot, they’ll need to be done in order; 1, then 2, and finally 3 (if there is a third).

‘Spending’ Affection Points doesn’t mean the guy likes the MC less, it just means you’ll have to get even closer to the guy than you already are if you want to keep taking him out.

Outfit Conversations-
Outfit Conversations are the MC making comments about what the guy is wearing that day. There are Outfit Conversations for the guys’ casual wear, work uniform, pajamas, swimsuit, and formal dress. There aren’t Outfit Conversations for their school uniforms. How you get the conversation depends on what type of outfit it is.

Casual Wear: First you’ll have to get their Right to Date Conversation, gain more Affection, unlock a date spot, and have some money. At that point you’ll need to arrange a date at one of the locations that isn’t at the school. During the date the guy will be wearing a casual outfit rather than his school uniform.

A guy has one casual outfit for every two months.
September & October
November & December
January & February
March & April
May & June
July & August

Just arrange a date to a non-school location in any of those months to see the corresponding outfit and the Outfit Conversation that goes along with it.

Work Uniform: Work Task 1 at the same part-time job he works at five times. That event is only available if you own the paid ‘complete’ version of the game.

Pajamas: Have him at the One Heart Affection Bar or higher by the time the school field trip happens in July, Year 1.

Swimsuit: You’ll need to get the guy as your boyfriend, unlock the indoor pool or beach, and then arrange a date there. Instead of wearing one of his casual outfits, he’ll have his swimsuit on. Everett, Bae, and Jeremy have their swimsuit date at the pool. Nate, Shiloh, and Pran have their swimsuit date set at the beach. The swimsuit dates are only available in the paid ‘complete’ version of the game.

Formal Dress: You’ll need to have the guy as your official boyfriend near the middle of May, Year 2. If you’ve got that, you and your guy will arrange to attend prom together on May 29th, Year 2. On that day of prom he’ll show up dressed formally.

In the free version you can only see 8 Outfit Conversations for Everett, Nate, and Shiloh, making for 24 in total. In the complete game you can see all 10 for all six guys, for 60 in total.

*Extra Note*
When you get an Outfit Conversation the outfit will become unlocked in the outfit gallery for the guy. Just click his chibi on the main menu to open the gallery select page for him.

During Fall & Winter the beach is too cold for swimming, so non-swimsuit Date Conversations happen during those months. You’ll need to be in Spring or Summer to see a guy's swimsuit event if it's set at the beach.

Side Character Events
These are events that star the cast of Side Characters.

Introduction Events-
There are 2 Introduction Events. These events introduce the Side Boyfriends; Adrian Wulu and Kam Sung.

To see Adrian’s introduction event you need to work part time on the weekend at the Accessory Store doing either Task.

To meet Kam you’ll need to gather up 500 Reputation Points overall. The event unlocking him will then happen on the next weekend.

Side Conversation Prologues-
Cala and Lynn have a short prelude event that happens the very first time you stop by. For Lynn you need to try sitting in the Nurse's Office on a Monday. For Cala you need to go out shopping and visit her store (the icon with the four leaf clover).

Side Conversations-
Side Conversations are the main series of events that are dedicated to the Side Characters. The way you get these conversations is a little different depending on which character it’s for.

Alicia and Missy: Sit with the girl on Mondays. The first event happens the fourth time you’ve sat with her, the second happens the eighth time you’ve sat with her, and so on. Again, each girl has 7 events.

Lynn: Attempt to sit in the nurse’s office on Mondays. He’ll send you back out to the selection screen in most cases. On the fourth attempt he’ll let you stay, try four more times and he’ll let you eat there again, repeat until you’ve seen all 7.

Shopkeepers: On the weekends choose to go out shopping and visit the shop they work at. Once you’ve visited four times a ‘…’ bubble will appear next to the character, clicking that will activate their Side Conversation. After the event is over the day will end, so do your shopping first. After you’ve seen the first event, visit four more times to get the ‘…’ bubble to appear again, repeat that process.

Adrian and Kam only have 2 Side Conversations available if you’re playing the free version, the other six Side Characters have 7. So there are 46 Side Conversations in the base version of XOD. In the complete version all eight Side Characters have 7 Side Conversations, so 56 in total.

*Extra Notes*
It’s possible to visit one store up to three times in a single day, but visiting only counts towards the shopkeeper’s Side Conversations once per day. You could visit three different stores and get all three of those characters one step closer to unlocking a Side Conversations, though.

Boyfriend Events
These are events specific to getting/having an official boyfriend.

Be My Boyfriend Events (Main)-
Once you’ve gotten enough Affection Points to fill the Two Heart Affection Bar completely you won’t be able to progress any further in befriending the guy. The only way to get even closer is to make him your official boyfriend. To do that call him on a Saturday and on the date select screen a new button will have appeared. In the bottom right corner there will be a button of two simply drawn people. Click that and the game will ask if you want him to be your boyfriend. Hit yes, and you’re done. It doesn’t cost any Affection Points or money to arrange.

The MC will call the guy that day and the two will meet up tomorrow on Sunday.

There’s 1 Be My Boyfriend event per guy. 3 in the free version for the only guys you can date; Everett, Nate, and Shiloh. And 6 in the complete version.

Be My Boyfriend Events (Side)-
If you own the complete version and want to be in a relationship with one of the Side Boyfriends, Adrian or Kam, you’ll need a different approach.

First you’ll have to see all 7 of their Side Conversations by visiting their store over twenty times on different days (visiting their store over and over on the same day won’t count). In the 7th Side Conversation the guy will tell you a requirement that needs to be met before you can date him. For Adrian you’ll need to buy at least eight accessories from the store. For Kam you’ll need to have at least 100 Arcade Tickets on-hand.

If you’ve met the requirement, return to their store again on the weekend. The ’…’ bubble will have reappeared. Click that bubble button to get the event and the two of you will become an official couple.

You can’t romance either of these guys at all in the free version. In the complete version there are 2 of these events, 1 for Adrian and 1 for Kam.

Relationship Announcements-
If you’ve gotten yourself an official boyfriend out of the Main Guys or one of the two Side Boyfriends, you’ll automatically get his Relationship Announcement event. Less than a week after the two of you get together the whole afterschool group will hear the news of this new development.

In the free version there’s 1 for Everett, Nate, and Shiloh, so 3 in total. In the complete version there’s 1 for all six main guys and the two Side Boyfriends, so 8 in total.

Boyfriend Random Events-
When you have a Main Guy boyfriend a new type of Random Event becomes unlocked, Random Events relating to your relationship with the guy. Just like normal Random events they have a chance of happening throughout the weekdays and there’s nothing you can do to force them to occur.

In the free version there’s 7 for Everett, Nate, and Shiloh, so 21 in total. In the complete version there’s 7 for all six main guys, so 42 in total.

Date Conversations (Side)-
You can only go on an actual date with a Side Boyfriend option if he’s already your boyfriend. Just wait for the weekend and click the button of two people to open the relationship info screen. From there you can choose to go out with the guy. Unlike the main guys, dates with the Side Boyfriends happen the same day you ask him out. And you don’t need to rack up Affection Points or unlock the date locations before you can go.

You can’t romance either of these guys at all in the free version. In the complete version there are 6 of these events, 3 for Adrian and 3 for Kam.

Senior Prom-
Senior Prom is an automatic event that happens on May 29th. Though there are different versions you can get. This section describes the version of Prom you get if you have a Main Guy or Side Boyfriend as your boyfriend during that time period.

Main Guy: In the middle of May, Year 2 a Group Event happens. After the Group Event is over the MC will pull her boyfriend aside and insist that he take her to prom later that month. When the day comes the two of you spend prom together. There are 2 events involved with this, so 6 events in total for the free version and 12 in total for the complete version.

Side Guy: After the Group Event in May, Year 2 the MC will call Adrian or Kam to let him know the sad news that no non-Saint Sara Belle students are permitted into prom, even as dates of students. The guy will help the MC cheer up about that. On May 29th the default version of Senior Prom will play out, with a small addition where she keeps her guy in mind. You can’t get those guys as your boyfriend in the free version. In the complete version there’s 1 for Adrian and 1 for Kam, for a total of 2.

Also, part-way through Prom the King and Queen of the dance will be announced.
Ending Events
These are all the various events you can unlock at the end of the game.

Congrats Letters-
When your high school life is over you’ll be sent letters from those who wish to congratulate you for graduating. 1 is automatic, from your parents/sisters. There are 6 possible letters that you'll get if you worked at the same part-time job enough to be earning 60$ there. And there’s 1 bonus letter you get as part of a Side Character Ending scene. So there are a total of 8 different letters.

Side Endings-
If you got all 7 Side Conversations for any of the eight Side Characters, you’ll get an ending goodbye event with them.

In the free version there are 6 of these scenes. 1 for Lynn, Alicia, Missy, Cala, Romeo, and Trent. In the complete version there are 8. 1 for the six already mentioned, 1 for Adrian, and 1 for Kam.

*Extra Note*
If you want the friend goodbye for Adrian or Kam you can’t currently be in an official relationship with the guy. If the two of you are dating you’ll get a different event with him.

Break Up or Not-
After the final Group Event the MC and her boyfriend, if she’s dating a Main Guy, will chat about what to do with their relationship now that they’re about to move apart from each other.

You can choose to break up on good terms, thus getting the Guy Friend Event for him, or you can choose to stick it out for the long-run.

In the free version there’s 1 for Everett, Nate, and Shiloh, so 3 in total. In the complete version there’s 1 for all six main guys, so 6 in total.

Guy Friend Endings-
If you’re not officially in a relationship with a Main Guy but you’ve still become close to him you’ll get a friendly goodbye event together.

In the free version there’s 1 for Everett, Nate, and Shiloh, so 3 in total. In the complete version there’s 1 for all six main guys, so 6 in total.

Clique Comments-
If you gained a bit of Affection with any of the Individual Clique members over the course of the game you’ll get a small comment from them in between all the bigger ending events.

Closing Scene-
The MC has finished cleaning up her room and it’s time to leave for the graduation ceremony. She has a few final thoughts about her experiences there. If you met the requirements to learn cheat codes, this is where you’ll find them.

There are 12 possible thoughts she can have to herself, 1 is automatic the rest have specific requirements.

Final Walk-
The last scene of the game. It’s an automatic event but there are different versions.

Clique Boyfriend or Single: The MC walks away from the school by herself.

Main Boyfriend or Side Boyfriend: The MC walks away while getting one final event with her boyfriend.

In the free version there are 4 events; by herself, 1 for Everett, 1 for Nate, and 1 for Shiloh. In the complete version there are 9. The four mentioned plus 1 for Bae, Jeremy, Pran, Adrian, and Kam.

Bonus Group Event-
If you end the game being friends with all six Main Guys and none of them are your boyfriend, you'll get one last event as a group.

Confession Events
These are events that were added a little while after the initial release. They revolve around the main guy asking the MC to be his girlfriend.

Requirements-
To get this scene you’ll need to out-stubborn the main guy. It requires getting him to 1,200 Affection Points and never having a boyfriend until the end of the game. You can go on regular dates, if you want.

If you’ve done that, then after the last group meeting on July 18th, Year 2 every guy who has 1,200 will say goodbye to the MC before leaving. You will get to choose which, if any, guy you want to get the confession scene with. You don’t need to have group events turned on to get this scene. Feel free to turn them off using the event settings page.

Some days later, how many depends on which guy you picked, the confession scene will happen instead of the friendship ending scene. You will go on to get his boyfriend ending scene. There will be slight alterations to the boyfriend ending because you got through different means.

Suggestion-
The confessions are fun, but you’ll miss all the many boyfriend exclusive events if you aim for it. We suggest getting the confessions you want in one go, rather than aiming for each individually, using this method.
• Turn all events off using the events setting page
• Use cheats to get Reputation, Affection, and Swift Taffy
• Set the taffy to Weekly Equip
• Sleep away the months
• Once you hit July 18th, Year 2 make a save file
• Choose a guy and move forward to see his events
• Reload the file and choose a different guy
• Repeat until you’ve gotten all the confessions you’re interested in seeing

In the free version there are 3 confession scenes, one for Everett, Nate, and Shiloh. In the full version there are 6 confession scenes, one for all of the main jerks.
Lucas Kaiser Route
Lucas Kaiser is the 9th boyfriend option. He was added as a free addition to the extended version of XOXO Droplets after the initial release. If you have the full game you can choose to romance him.

The Luke Route isn’t gameplay based. You don’t have to rack up Affection Points, or buy certain items, or anything. His events happen at specific, automatic points throughout the game. There are a few chances where you can choose jump off of his route, but other than that all you have to do is get through the days. Our recommended method is-

• Start a new file from the beginning
• Turn events you don’t want off using the events setting page in the More section
• Use cheats to get Reputation and Swifty Taffy
• Set the taffy to Weekly Equip
• Sleep away the days
• On October 11th, Year 1 you will be invited to a party, be sure attend
• Keep sleeping through the months and enjoy all the lovely Lucas Kaiser content

He has a boyfriend ending and a friendship ending. About halfway through his route you'll get to decide if you want to be friends or more than friends. If you do pursue Lucas you'll lose the option to call/text the main boys.

Yep, that'll do it. Sorry that can be a bit of a pain to wait for. Off the top of my head I believe March or April is when the spring/summer beach will become available.

Ah, I see! I have the full version and Shiloh is already my boyfriend, but I'm in December right now. Thank you for your help!

@the.ververg
I'm sorry for the trouble. The beach dates can be a bit tricky to get and there are are a few why it might not be available. Do you have the free version? The swimsuit dates are only available if you own the complete version of the game. Did you officially ask Shiloh to be in a relationship with you? The beach date is a boyfriend-only scene. And what month are you in? There are two versions of the beach; spring/summer and fall/winter. Shiloh has a date at the spring/summer version of the beach, but not the fall/winter version.
frasloslop Oct 5, 2017 @ 5:11pm
Question: for some reason, even though I already unlocked all of the possible date locations, I can't take Shiloh to the beach. Please help????

For some reason, I did not notice the icon at first either, but once you have two red hears AND another full bar under them, on a weekend, use your phone and click on the guy like you were going to ask him out on a date. On the bottom right-hand side of that screen will be the little image of two people that you can click on. (I think maybe it blends into the background, since it is the same color as the menu background until you put your cursor over it, if I recall correctly.)

The bar needs to be totally fill. Maybe there's a little left to go at the tip? Let me know if you're sure it's completely full and you can't gain any more affection. We'll look into what the problem could be :].

I need help I have two red hearts and I still do not see an option to be boyfriend.
