Changing the Skin of a Car

I see so many times in the comments subscribers asking me how to change the skin after downloading it. This will explain step by step with pretty pictures.

Intro

In order to change the skin and follow this guide you must have the following:

-Garry's Mod
-A vehicle which corresponds with the skin you downloaded
-The skin
-Basic comprehension of the english language

Subscribe to an Addon

Use the workshop to find a skin. Once you've found it click the subscribe button.

Remember to restart your game after subscribing to it.

Spawn the Car

Open the menu by pressing "q" and select the vehicles tab. You will have a list of vehicles here. Find the vehicle in which you downloaded the skin for.

Open the "C" Menu

To navigate to the "c" menu, simply hold down the c key on your keyboard. After this a border will come up at the top and icons will appear on the side. While holding down c, right click your car

Right Click the Car, Then Hover Over Skins

After right clicking on the car, hover you mouse over "skins". A list of numbered skins will show up. Simply click the skin that you are looking for. If your addon creator did not include the skin slot number, you will need to try every skin in the list until you find it.

You're Done!

If you followed the steps correctly, you should have the skin on the car. If not, there may be a problem with the addon. This would be a good time to let the addon creator know you followed all the steps and it still did not work.

Photon Livieries

If you downloaded Photon, some skins may be under a Photon "livery". To apply it, simply right click the car in the c menu, and choose "Photon Liveries". The cool thing about these is that they are labeled! Select the livery want and you are good to go.

If you cannot get to the Photon Liveries from looking at the car, try getting in the car and right clicking it from the c menu in 3rd person.
