Simple Vanguard Guide

Super simple vanguard guide. I wont be using specific damage values or anything. I'm just gonna tell you how to play

Abilities

Hydra:gatling gun
This gun gets more accurate the more you fire it.
Don't stop firing if they hide behind small cover. Noobs will pop out even into your full barrage.
Dont stop firing when using pulsar or meteor shells. It doesnt cancel your firing

Pulsar: shoots laser out your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hand
Spam this ♥♥♥♥ if they get close to you.
The closer you are- the more damage it does.
Use this skill after meteor shells.

Meteor Shell:
Throws grenades
Has a lot of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spread
Its cast time is lower than pulsar so use these first on the front line.
They can also damage you.
try to predict where enemies will land then throw them.

Starfall:
Lifts you up when you activate it.
You can activate even if you have no jet fuel.
Creates a zero-g pocket.
Try to use when enemies are together.
Starfall knocks enemies into the air so try to look up after you ult.

AfterBurners:
Basically just a jetpack that only goes forward.
When landing press space this will make you bunnyhop.
Bunnyhopping conserves a lot of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fuel so do it 24/7.
When escaping its better to fly up into the air instead of running in a straight line away.

Tatics

General:
Vanguard is really good at flanking and finding people out of position.
She can go behind enemy lines and ♥♥♥♥ everyone up if they are defending an objective.
I usually don't focus objectives much when playing vanguard.
She is very good at zoning other players- letting your team take the blitzball or capture a point.
The only time I would focus objectives is on Station or Vertigo. She can use her afterburners to take objectives very quickly.

Specfic:
Blitzball:

• Focus the jug that camps the point
  
• Zone the ninja wraiths

People you can and can't ♥♥♥♥ up

People you can:

• Wraiths are my favorite people to ♥♥♥♥ up. Its so easy because in close quarters you do more damage with meteor shells and pulsar. At mid-long range you have your Hydra. Its impossible to die by them unless they spamm their little ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pistol.
  
• Jugs have high HP and deal tons of damage up close but have a mobility problem that you don't have. just focus jugs from a distance and try to get behind them when they aren't looking and blast that shiny ass
  
• Medics and vanguards have like this weird symbiosis. If you focus a medic- it just takes more time than it should to kill her and it creates space for the enemy team. And the medic cant even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kill you except with her pistol. You can kill medics easily, but I wouldn't focus them.
  
• Assasins are very sneaky. LIKE EXTREMLEY SNEAKY. A good way to kill an assassin is distance yourself away from her with pulsar as much as you can. LIKE SPAM THAT ♥♥♥♥ and when she gets near a wall, use meteor shower. Also if you run out of ammo trying to kill an assassin...maybe next time.
  
• Harriers are just annoying man. They will win in a long range battle but up close you can kill them. also when you hear her say her line for ult. RUN THE ♥♥♥♥ AWAY

People YOU CANT

• Gunslinger is basically your hard counter in lawbreakers. His warp ability makes it so he can escape your ult, meteor shells, hydra, and pulsar. LITERALLY EVERYTHING. The best way to stay alive is watch for a gunslinger and run the ♥♥♥♥ away. He even counters your tatics. His scouting ability( his throwing knife) will give away your position before you even know it. The only way to counter a gunslinger is outplaying him and following him after he has used all his warps.
  
• Titan can kill you in 2 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rockets. closequarters is not an options against this guy. HE WILL ♥♥♥♥ YOU UP. try to keep your distance and you might survive.

REVIEW

• you can use abilities and still fire.
  
• use meteor shells before pulsar.
  
• try to get around people and zone them.
  
• fly up to escape.
  
• use ult on a group of enemies in open space.
  
• dont fight gunslingers or titans.
