Introduction
Puzzles were introduced in the 1.23 update, there are over 80 of them. Many are straightforward but there are lots of cute interactions in the game that you will learn about so its worth doing them - you also get some gold from acheivements and the puzzles themselves!

With the 1.28 patch update, Eternal has even more puzzles now. On the whole, these puzzles are a little more tricky this time around. Patch 1.28 also came with a large balance patch, changing the way many units work, which as far as I know has changed one of the soultions to previous puzzles in this guide - Aegis: Diamond, the new solution is up, but if you find that there are more solutions that are outdated let me know please!

No puzzles were added with the Fall of Argenport update.

If you're struggling with any puzzles here's a quick and simple written guide with both hints and full solutions, Have fun!

The guide gives the solution to all the puzzles, but for those who still want to try on their own and need just a little inspiration, there are hints to help without spoiling too much.

If you're looking for a particular puzzle Ctrl F + Puzzle: name should be good enough.

The Basics
These are pretty straightforward, if you have any prior experience with the game you should breeze through these.
If you're new, no worries, there's lots of stuff to learn here in preperation for the rest of the puzzles.

TKONDOR Dec 3, 2021 @ 4:32am
@Akelsan : you need to wait 1 step by 2. when the enemy attacks... not before.
Hope this helps.
@CT-099 Austin : Tyvm Ambushsolution still works fine.
Akelasan Sep 4, 2021 @ 8:23am

The Basics: Ambush solution no longer works. However, I have the working solution.

1. Play both Dune Phantom and Desert Marshal
2. Silence Skeeter
3. Block Back-Alley Bouncer with Dune Phantom, Block Direwood Beastcaller with Desert Marshal
4. Attack with Desert Marshal.

During the Diamond Aegis, you can't beat the puzzle. You draw your Outlaw's Sniper from the void and deal the damage, but it leaves you at 1.
Cindermond Jul 26, 2020 @ 12:14am
Double Damage Diamond works, but I don't understand why I am not taking piercing damage from Adaptive Predator. Is it that overwhelm won't work when blocking?
Daidun Mar 31, 2020 @ 11:02pm
I can't seem to get Deadly Diamond to work: after playing The Last Word, no spells appear to get Deadly (neither Vara's Favor nor Temper kill an enemy unit, just leave 5/4s). Am I doing something wrong, or has something changed?
Poder Jan 4, 2020 @ 4:25pm
New solution for Endurance: Silver

The flying unit is a Whirly Twirly, so you pay to change it to a Makeshift Barrier (has Endurance, breaks the stun), change it back to a Whirly, and equip the Cabal Rogue with Stalwart Shield.
Poder Jan 4, 2020 @ 3:53pm
Found new working solution for Aegis Diamond (not mine, u/Lavander42 from reddit):

Attack with all Units

Before damage is dealt, cast Protect on yourself.

Dark Return the sniper

Use the sniper to kill the Maiden

Cast Harsh Rule to kill the Grenadin for the final 3

It works 5th january 2020
Ada Oct 24, 2019 @ 6:01am
Ok i got it! First you cast procect on urself. then attack with all your units, then get back sniper and snipe oponnents unit and then kill all units. ^^
