Fair enough, Solar can still be a viable set in the endgame, but depending on playstyle, a player could be more comfortable sticking with Beetle, me included since I'd rather go on the offensive. It's up to the role you prefer to play.

Hmm well the Beetle set in the offensive role does have more offensive power, but Solar Flare has higher defense and overall is arguably better in the defense role. The Beetle set for the defense role does have a higher max damage mitigation but also has a lower mitigation on the lowest of the three steps/tiers, while Solar Flare has better offense at the same time versus the defense variant for Beetle. Wouldn't call that a mix or watered down, I'd say it's better for defense plus has a good offensive boost at the same time. Debatable I guess but I'd still give it to the Solar Flare set personally.

The Beetle set is the more powerful melee set though, depending on if you want to specialize in a certain melee role (offensive/defensive). Solar Flare is a slightly watered-down mix of the two.
