[EN][RU] How to use a controller (using x360ce method) on For Honor

Your new chinese low cost controller isn't working on For Honor ? With only a few easy steps, you'll be able to use it and enjoy the game like never before (maybe).

1 - Get x360ce

Get the x64 (or x32 but I only tested the x64 option) version here : x360ce WebSite[www.x360ce.com]

3 - Start x360ce

1. First, clic on Create to make a new .dll file
   
   
2. Then, Select Search automatically for settings (default option) and press Next >
   
3. Wait until the process is done and hit Finish
   
4. Make sure every button is working as it should (if not use the [Record] option for each button)
   

26 - Configure x360ce

Usually, you don't have to configure it but it might be bugging with For Honor. Here's my solution:

1. First go to Game Setting
   
2. Then push + Add
   
3. Search for the For Honor folder (it might be around there: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\For Honor or go in your Library>For Honor>Properties and open the folder of the game)
   
4. Once in the folder open splashscreen.exe
   
5. Check all the XInput Files and DInput File 64-bit boxes and push the save button and cross your fingers because magic is probably about to happen

BTW if you tested the x32 version please tell me if it's working.

В папке откройте файл splashscreen.exe


В списке выберите появившийся splashscreen.exe и как на рисунке выставьте все отметки у XInput и DInput файлов 64-bit. Нажмите кнопку Save и скрестите свои пальцы, потому что магия вероятно должна произойти

tnx it was helpfull but its harder in controller it's to hard to feint with aramusha or i cant get used to it

I haven't tried the big picture configuration, but I was also using a PS2 controller and it was fine with x360ce.

I use a PS2 controller via usb cable, and the configuration via Big Pic Mode works as it should, EXCEPT any action that requires holding the button (revive, start a match, confirm hero, etc), doesn't work UNLESS I'm holding another button. And strangely enough, if guard mode is set to hold, it works just fine, only any menu-ish thing doesn't.
