Nvidia VR Funhouse 100% Achievement Guide

Virtual achievements are just... regular achievements?

Disclaimer

Some achievements unlock upon closing the game, so if the achievement doesn't unlock by then and you're certain you did it correctly, try closing the game to see if it unlocks.

Scores

Each level has a small prize, a medium, prize, then a large prize. I'm not gonna list all three prizes, too redundant as you do need the large prize to 100% the game. Also, without the code or in-game confirmation, it's hard to determine what the score requirement is for the large prize. So these scores may be higher than required, but can confirm they unlocked the achievement.

Clown Painter

There's something in my eye!
Get paint on your face in Clown Painter!


Point it at yourself and shoot.

Don't Cross the Streams!
Pop two balloons within a second of each other in Clown Painter.


This achievement is particularly important in regards to obtaining the large prize and its as simple as you think. Simply keep both hands at the same height and same angle taking out two balloons at a time.

Now, using the trick above, you'll easily maximize your output. The only thing you have to worry about is shooting too long, so watch your gauge.

Fire Archer

He Split it in Twain!
Hit one arrow, with another! Robin, is that you?


Shoot an arrow onto a plank. Then shoot at that arrow with another arrow.

Inconceivable!
Hit the 4 point planks all in a row. Inconceivable!


This one is obvious. Make sure they all burn.

An Archery Contest?!
Hit every single plank in the archery level in 15 seconds!


This is the difficult portion. All the targets can be hit fairly easily, except for the top horizontal moving 4 pointer. This one requires you to stretch your arms as far as possible so you can get enough force to hit it.

Once you get the gist of how to shoot each target, you'll need to be able to do it within 15 seconds and without missing. I can't help with the missing portion, but to increase speed, you do not need to look at the basket of arrows nor the fire. So you can save time by picking up arrows and lighting them up off-screen.

Large Prize

Large Prize Score: 23

This won't matter. This is hitting all targets on the game for a total of 23 points. See an Archery Contest.

Balloon Knight

It slices! It dices!
Get a score of 15 on balloon knight in 10 seconds.


Just like it sounds, get a score of 15 or higher within the first 10 seconds of the game. This will be child's play compared to the high score.

Large Prize

Large Prize Score: 381

Now, there's a few ways about this, but they involve roughly the same tricks. You want to move your swords around you without looking. Indiscriminately swinging for high score will let you gain points faster than looking for balloons to attack. Plus there will be too many for you to hit.

Balloons spawn at multiple heights in a circle around you. Your main goal is to swing your swords so that you move your each sword covering 180 degrees each. Then, you can turn your wrist so that swords can attack upper and lower as well as middle heights.

You can twist your body back and forth if necessary, but you really don't have to move.

Basketball

Brickwall!
Pick up a basketball and never make a basket. You need to practice!


If you're me, you'll get this automatically. Pick up a basketball, then wait for the timer to run out.

Gots the Cheats!
Dunk a basketball!


In order to get closer to the basket, you'll be using the teleport function. Stand as far away from the basket as you can then teleport to the very front. Now walking forward will grant you the ability to be under the basket.

Now there's two ways for you to change height in order to reach the basket. The first is simply standing on something so that your height is up there.

Now, for people who have low ceilings, going higher isn't possible. So instead, you can move the sensors lower, so it tricks the game into thinking you're up higher.

Large Prize

Large Prize Score: 30 points

Unfortunately, I can't teach you how to shoot basketballs. Therefore, see below.

You can use the dunk trick above and simply wave the basketball into the basket. It'll get you the large prize with ease.

Wallwalker

Eww! It's sticky!
Get 5 wallwalkers to stick in a row!


You want the flat portion of the wallwalker to hit the wall with the upper side hitting first before the bottom. This makes the wallwalkers stick much easier.

Large Prize

Large Prize Score: 18

Once you get the throws down on how to get them to stick, you simply have to space them so that you have room for more wallwalkers in time.

Whack-A-Mole!

TPS reports got you down?
Throw your mallet outside the arena in disgust. You're done here!


Self-explanatory.

Large Prize

Large Prize Score: 40

There's not much to say here, it's merely a game of virtual hand-eye coordination. Just practice on your hammer accuracy, and you should be good.

Clown Puncher

POW! Right in the kisser!
Hit a clown head with a HUGE amount of force!


While I don't know how it determines if it's hard enough, but give it your best punch. The faster the remote goes, the harder the hit.

Didn't your mole used to be on the other side?
Hit the farthest moles at the same time.


As the achievement suggests, you need to hit the far left mole and the far right mole. Make sure you're in the middle of both, then wait until both moles are available to punch, and punch them simultaneously.

Mole-a-tarian.
Resist punching any moles during a playthrough. We know you want to do it.


Self-explanatory. Put your controllers down if you have to.

House Of Pain!
Hit a mole over 50 times after the timer runs out! What did they ever do to you?!


The key part to this achievement is how soon you start. Once the timer ends, start punching. You need to do it as soon as the timer ends. If you wait too long and start punching later, then it won't trigger. Note: I punched two moles on the far right. Right hand hit the far right mole, with the left hand hitting the mole just to the left of that one.

Side Note: Apparently hits registered with the left controller counts.

Large Prize

Large Prize Score: 140

The best way to do this is to wait at the beginning until all of the moles are extended, then punch left to right. This way, you simply need to punch starting from the left, and go over one alternating left and right. This way, you will force the game to give you the moles going left to right. Once the 6th one is punched, the 1st mole will pop out immediately. Then if you punch the 1st one, 2nd one pops out immediately. So you can keep up the speed knowing the next mole will pop out immediately.

This may require you to do it first try after launching the game, if you don't reach the highscore try restarting the game and try again.

Shooting Gallery

Dead Eye!
Get a score of 35 with only 35 shots!


Score only increases while there's time, so you'll have to do this within the time limit. Other than that, the only thing you need to worry about is when something breaks and the counter doesn't increase (via collateral damage).

Personally, the hardest six to hit are the ones at the top, so I do those first, then do the rest.

Large Prize

Large Prize Score: 35

Same as the Dead-Eye achievement, except without the missing part.

Cannon Skeet

That's using your head!
Break an object with your head.


Simply have the object hit you in the head.

Large Prize

Large Prize Score: 43

This is a perfect score. You're allowed to miss, so make sure you take early shots. Then leaving you time to shoot it at its apex. It's also recommended to stand roughly in the middle so that all the objects end up in the same general area at the apex of its trajectory.

Credits

Persistence of Vision.
Watch credits roll through two times.


At the end, you'll see the credits. Simply watch it twice. It'll replay itself, so leave it there until you get the achievement.

Clown-a-nator!

Clown-a-nator!
Large Prize achievement on all levels!


Returning to the first screen, or closing the game will result in this achievement popping AFTER you've earned the rest of the large prizes.

Side Note: I did this in multiple sessions, on multiple computers.

House of pain: Only left controller counts. My hands are for some reason swapped in this game, so left controller is the right hand.

Basketball: On valve index /steamVR you can scale the world in Steam settings for this game. Use that to cheat the scores. This trick also works for "POW right in the kisser"

Deadeye: you have to wait until the clock arrow moves before your shots count

Clown puncher gold throphy: I got it @ 135 or maybe 134, but had to use the beta. Nothing else helped.

Mole-a-tatarin: Also had to use the beta

Yeah Basketball large prize is over 30. I can't say exactly how many points you need but somewhere between 32 and 50.
I am still struggling with House of Pain! I keep hitting as many times as I need at the end of the round but no unlock

I had to use ovr advanced (free on steam, much simpler than moving base stations) to adjust enough to get my dunks counted. It wouldn't register them until my head was above/in the hoop.

I'll also note that FunkeymonkeyTTR's fix works on a vive headset. No need to unplug.

After 5 years a consistent solution for buggy unlocks has finally been found!

At least for achievements:
Clown Puncher: Large Prize! - You won the big prize! It's so fluffy!
Clown-a-nator! - Large Prize achievement on all levels!

1. Right click the game in your library and go to the ''betas'' tab
2. Choose 1.3.3-1157350-vrworks-mrs and let the game update
3. unplug your VR headset and launch the game to enter keyboard and mouse mode
4. hit 7 on your keyboard to play clown puncher, using left mouse click rack up a score of 140 or more (achievement Clown Puncher: Large Prize!)

finally after getting that achievement and assuming you have all others unlocked, go ahead and hit 0 on your keyboard for the endscreen to unlock Clown-a-nator!

hey, so for balloon knight, my vr setup is not 360 (only 2 sensors)
because of that, balloons don't go around me 360 degress, only like 180
