Beginner's Guide to Mabinogi
By Aldrius
Wondering how good of a game Mabinogi is? Well you're in luck by reading this guide!

Plot: You are a Militian, a being that is created by Morrighan, goddess of humans, crows, and revenge. You do not know of who or what you are. The last that you remember is that you have met a tall woman with white hair with very very disctinct pink color and black clothing,.... and also heels. (Like why heels of all things.) As you venture around Erinn (Doing [GUIDE] Quests and leveling up around level 50-100.) you get visions and Tir Chonnail chieftain tells you what's going on. Now, the story (Generation quests) Rests on your shoulders.

Pros:
  • Okay Mechanics
  • Best story
  • Best skill system
  • Amazing scenery
  • Gold as Primary currency
  • Ducats (Fomor Currency) as secondary currency (Only aquired via Mercentile Skill)
  • Not a Pay To Win
    ________________________________________________________________________

    Cons:
  • Terrible player economy
  • Less bug fixes

    Beginner's Advices

  • Focus on one Talent, you can do multiple talents, yes. But you will run out of AP, (even thoug AP is not that difficult to get, it still can be very annoying to run out of AP)

  • Do not waste real life currency on cosmetics. (That's all what you'll be able to buy is cosmetics.]

  • Avoid wasting gold on Player Shops (For this reason it's because of the ammount of shops being over priced, for example: 2.5 million for a Katana, and 52 Million for an outfit.) Best course of action if you do plan on going to a player shop is to look for prices below 1 million.

  • Note that if you hit level 1000 you are no longer a beginner.

  • Always help each other out.

  • Doing SMs and Dungeons won't always help you earning gold, you can earn more gold by doing hunting quests.

  • If you are struggling on an area including a boss in a dungeon, ask help from a veteran or ask your friends for help.

  • Don't feel discouraged by a veteran's shiny armor or appearances that make you feel weak or under dressed.

  • If you do cooking, black smithing, fishing, and even herbalism you can earn gold from other players just by providing them such things that they want, such as food for buffs, Arrows that deal five more points of damage than standard arrows that you buy from NPCs, and fishing to provide the cheff some ingredients such as fish, and potions for players who are entering into dangerous dungeons.
