How To Get Difficulty Mask

I have been wondering this about myself. Theres a lot of different information about how you get those. So now I am going to tell you how I got the difficulty mask.

What you should do

The following are only for Hard, Very Hard, Overkill, Mayhem and Death WIsh mask.

So, what heist do you need to complete to get the mask? The requirements are as follow in rank:
1) All heist for Bain
2) All heist for Vlad
3) All heist for The Dentist
4) All heist for Jimmy
5) All heist for The Elephant
6) All heist for Hector
7*) Some heist from Classics

Now before you start screaming at me shouting "WTF SO I DO NEED TO COMPLETE ALL HEIST YOU BLOODY LIAR", let me explain. If you looking for help for the mask means you should be playing for quite a while, means you probably did quite a number of heist, and that is why you don't need to do all heist as if you did a mission with a higher difficulty, it counts as a completion for all difficuty lower than the highest difficulty you have completed in a heist, ex: If I finsih Bank heist : Gold in Death Wish, it means that I have completed Normal, Hard, Very Hard, Overkill and Mayhem as well.

For Classics, I do not need to complete any of the heist when I am progressing in getting the hard, very hard, overkill and mayhem mask. I did around 2-3 heist in classics to get the Death Wish mask.

Sometimes you need to redo a heist at the difficulty of the difficulty mask you are aiming for. You need to overwrite your stats and give the completion a 1 instead of a 0 although you may have completed the heist in a higher difficulty.

'What about the One Down mask?' you may ask. The solution is simple for this. You NEED to complete all heist in one down. Yes, no exceptions, Yes, no skipping.

I am not sure for the normal mask as i automatically unlock the mask since i got my one down mask.

Tips

So you want tips to get the mask ASAP huh? Here are some from my experience

1) Do heist in stealth if possible
In steath, the number of gaurds increases as the difficulty increases, but it does not increase that much and sometimes does not increase at all, ex: bank heists will always has 4 guards ( including the camera gaurd) no matter what difficulty you are playing on. Therefore it is definately easier to do heist in stealth Plus you dont need to deal with bulldozers ;)

*You should really do all stealth possibe heist in stealth, it really easy things up. Except framing frame and Art Gallery, sawing the bars to get painting is easier

2) Get basic and some advanced speed skill
Move faster, Complete heist faster. 'Parkour' basic and 'Transporter' basic is a must. However, be smart and invest your points in your survival rather than your speed skill if you are dying a lot, What matters is that you complete the mission.

3) Find friends to play with you (not strangers), if not , do it solo
Strangers are sometimes ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ :/

4) Enjoy the game
If you don't enjoy the game, there is no point in getting these mask. You will get your masks much faster if you enjoy the game.

5) Get crew abilities
Go to crew management and spend some continential points to get 'quick', 'Inspiring', and
Piercing'. Give your crew Golden AK (thats what I did). and also crew boost (your preference)

6) Acheive atleast infamy 5
You get to have the benefit of using less points to unlock the next tier of skill. Read the details at the infamy tree to know more ( I don't know how to explain AHAHAHAH)

7)Utilise 'Inspire' Skill
This tip only applies to you if you have atleast inspire basic. Many heisters tend to forgot the basic version of inspire as what they really want from inspire is its aced version -- GET THE ♥♥♥♥ UP. The basic version gives you a speed boost to teamates. Use it when you are crossing a street full of snipers or what so ever. It reduces a second to do your objective, moving bags and running and that split second counts.

8) Use the 'interact' button efficiently
Sometimes the enemy will just stand at its place without doing anything. That is the time for you to do whatever you want. During that phase, don't shoot, damage, kill, shout, mark enemies as it resets the 'alertness' of the enemy and they will start to kill you again. It is like waking a day-dreaming person.

I recommend you start your 'journey to get dem mask' at getting the hard mask first, then slowly making your way up, that way you will get the idea of which heist you can ignore for now.

The requirement for getting any difficulty mask is currently doing 52 out of all 64 heists. This makes it so you can skip goat simulator, heat street, biker heist, ect.

I guess you just have to do every single heist you can host/you own. Seeing how I had to do every single heist and other people didn't.

I got hard - Mayhem masks and I didnt finish following heists:

All Transports
Green Bridge
Heat Street
Undercover
Events
Rats
Watchdogs
The Bomb: Heists
Brooklyn 10-10
Golden Grin Casino
Hotline Miami
Hoxton Breakout
Election Day
Framing Frame
Aftershock
Goat Simulator
Santa's Workshop
White Xmas

Maybe you only need a certain amount of Heists on these Difficulties.
Or maybe you need only the Older Missions..
I dont know. I am confused.

Though I'll admit: I got those achievements before they became "or above". So I'm not 100% sure about it

As far as I understand it you need to complete all the heists on a difficulty or above, just like the achievements themselves say. You do need to complete dlc heists, I'm not sure about safehouse nightmare. Other than that one I can say with relative certainty: you need to complete every heist on Deathwish or above in order to get the Deathwish mask. Every heist on Hard or above to get the Hard mask. Etc, etc.
