About this Guide
Customizing a team to look at every fort combination in-game takes a lot of time, so I made this guide to help make choosing a fort simpler. The images of forts in this guide show what can't be seen in the preview while customizing a fort. All fort extras and building interiors have been combined into one image per fort to keep this guide short and easy to read.
The Forts Game Mode
In Forts Mode, two teams start on their own forts, seperated by a wide watery gap, and battle by firing weapons at each other from across the water.

A team's side consists of a fort and a fort extra, customizable in team settings. The fort makes up your team's half of the landscape. The fort extra is an object that is placed on your fort at the start of the match. When teleport in is enabled, you can only place worms on the fort belonging to your team.
Fort Extras
There are six choices for fort extras. You can only have one fort extra selected at a time.
  • None
    • Default selection. Don't forget to choose something else when you make your team or you won't have anything.
  • Static Gun
    • A stationary machine gun that you must enter to use.
    • Damages things and tears into the other fort's terrain.
  • Sentry Gun
    • A stationary weapon that automatically fires at nearby enemy worms and drones.
    • Good for deterring invasions and thieving drones.
  • Magnet
    • An electromagnet set to repel.
    • Unlike normal electromagnets, this one has no turn limit and will keep working until it is destroyed.
  • Health Crate
    • Contains 25 HP.
  • Craft Crate
    • Contains 4 Boggy's Special Sauce and 4 Sticky Donkey Paste.
    • Useless if crafting is disabled in the scheme being played. Consider making a backup team with a different fort extra if your main team has a craft crate.
Fort Layouts
Currently, there are 6 different forts to choose from, each with unique terrain, buildings, and object placement. More forts may be added in future updates to Worms W.M.D.
